1. Location. Would highly recommend if you are here to explore the city and feel more like a local than a tourist. Great spot in the LES but easy access to the rest of the city. 2. View from my room. I ended up in a corner room with amazing views of midtown (Empire State Building) and Tribeca/downtown skylines. 3. The room was very small, but well laid out and decorated. Again, if you want to feel like a local, this surely would give you that feeling.

Minor details, but the TV was situated very high on the wall so the only comfortable way to watch was laying down. The heat/ac was a bit confusing to operate - which could be a hassle during the peak hot or cold seasons.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Samantha, Carlos (?), Chrystal, all were very nice and accommodating, thank you very nice. It made the place feel like home or friends’ home. My friend found this hotel for me, it was a bit cheaper among other NY crazy prices, and Booking.com offered a free upgrade, I believe. I had my doubts, I must confess, but once I was greeted by Samantha and saw my room, I said wow! Mine was a corner room, a small one but with two windows on perpendicular walls, and from the 7th floor it gave a spectacular view! Samantha also told me about the rooftop, and it was a special place, too. Your own tower in the city. Amazing. Even the bathroom had a window. Some people said in the review that there was very little place to put your things, and I sort of agree, there is no closet, but several hangers. But I was there just for a few days, and managed without much storage space. The room is basically just a big comfy bed with two big windows in front and on the side, and it’s great to see the city at sunsets, sunrise, day and night. Thanks. I would definitely stay there again. If the price will remain reasonable :)

The internet wasn’t working on my first night, the staff tried to help getting me connected to the employees network but it didn’t catch signal in my room. But next day they rebooted the system, and everything worked well.

Great Rooftop

The staff was helpful and friendly and the room and rooftop had a great view of the city! The room was small but comfortable and I appreciated being able to get fresh water and tea downstairs. The location is central, in walking distance to many things on the LES and nearby neighborhoods.

The water pressure was not great and there was quite a lot of noise at night (it was the weekend, and it’s a busy street with popular bars.) It didn’t bother me as I’m a heavy sleeper but my husband had to get earplugs.

Location and relatively cheaper than many others nearby. My queen room on L8 was very pokey, the bed took up most of the room but the view made up for that. One of the better locations for accessing great bars soaked in music history and walkable to many transport options and attractions. Perfect for a solo traveller that wants to make the most of the city.

Small room, low water pressure and slow lift

Staff was above and beyond fantastic. Every encounter with every employee was excellent! Little roof patio was beautiful, nothing fancy, but the views were magical and it was a great place to sit.

A little run down, but nothing that would deter me from booking again. Was disappointed there was no ice machine anywhere on property or even a little fridge to store a cold drink.

Samantha was very helpful. Though my reservation had gotten canceled inspite of me letting them know that I was arriving by overnight flight, samm took control of the situation very well . Though I was very annoyed initially, she went out of her way to rectify some one else’s mistake and provided very professional and courteous service after the initial hiccup

It was good value

This hotel was the best choice I could have made during my stay. The view is extraordinary, I could see the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, even the Empire State Building from my room. The staff is really nice and friendly, especially the lady, Tkeyah. I stayed with a service dog, they were okay with him, I had to show his certificate at the front desk. The room was not extra huge, but in my opinion it was just enough for the nights. (If you plan to stay in the hotel the whole day, this room will be small for you, but I was sightseeing all day.) The bathroom was really clean and it had an amazing view as well.

Unfortunately the AC/heater did not always worked the way I wanted. Even if I wanted to make the room warmer, it just did not turn on for a while.

Great location, clean, very helpful staff, bonus of small outdoor seating area, tea and coffee freely available in the lobby and free luggage storage

Decoration was tired in places with some peeling wallpaper. No lamp or light switch near bed. Room was very small and it was difficult to shuffle round the bed in the dark without skinning shins

The staff were excellent, our airline lost our bags and staff kept us updated on whether or not it had arrived as we were only staying for a few days, and then when the bags finally arrived they let us know straight away and brought the luggage up to our room. The room was fantastic, great view of the city and close to main train lines straight into the city but also only a $15-20 Uber uptown if we needed. The surrounding shops and restaurants opened late so in the mornings it was pretty quiet but there was plenty to do and a short walk to grab food or anything we needed. 100% would stay here again
