The location was perfect for my trip, the area is full of life and close to public transportation, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Also, the room was spotless! But the game changer for me was the attention at the Front Desk. Marisa was superb, kind, and very attentive, and also Andy, with whom I interacted less due to their shift hours -both always with a smile and willing to help or recommend places to explore. You don't get that much kindness in every hotel in a big city! The view from the 7th-floor terrace is gorgeous, very instagrammable!

I'm a big guy so the room was a bit small for me but I know that in New York, a larger room would have cost me a fortune. In any case, I did not use the room other than sleeping so it was all good.

We were on the 4th floor which was quiet. Though the neighborhood looks sketchy, it felt safe, well located and “entertaining”. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and well supplied. Liked that they had a staffed lobby. Liked that they had good bedside outlets.

Only wish they had a chair or folding suitcase stand in the room.

Very good service and quality for the price in New York City. The room was a bit small but more than enough for a week in the city. Everything was clean in the room and in the shared areas. The cleaning service is nice. AC works well. Free coffee or tea anytime of the day and night at the shared room in the basement. Service is great and always provided was we asked for (more towels, soap etc.). They even managed to get back a very important personnal belonging I forgot and send it to me all the way to France with great communication. The neighborhood is nice with the subway at a 5min walk, famous Katz's Deli, McDonalds, some pubs and restaurants in a 2 blocks radius. If you're looking only for a place to sleep during your stay, in a more calm area than the usual touristic areas and with a good price, this is the place you need.

Rooms a bit small and lack of closet but worth the price if you stay no more than a week.

Great location - clean room with nice view. what made it excellent were the staff - it was my boyfriends 30th birthday and Cynthia from the desk put little cakes and balloons in the room to make it special. it was such a nice thing to do and made our trip all that much more special.

rooms are quite small but we spent barely any time in there so that wasn’t even an issue!

Great location, staff were super friendly and always helpful. Comfortable bed. Initially, tv and remote didn't work together, but staff made sure this was fixed promptly.

Noise from other guests in the hallway, but we understand that's unavoidable.

the room was lovely but very small - there was 2 of us and there is not a lot of space around the bed its mostly bed. but tbh location is amazing so we didnt mind.

the size of the room was small, otherwise everything was good. and it was super clean

firstly the staff are amazing. Their staff Kristel would recommend great restaurants and she was so helpful with anything that I needed. Andy and the manager Kaina were amazing too. Had a wonderful stay and I was close to everything in NYC that was happening.

The room was really nicely decorated and the bed was super-comfy! Staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was great for happy hour drinks and nightlife and made a great base for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn. We were there on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay!

While the decoration looked lovely, some of the details were shabby - hooks missing and broken light fixtures! It would have been great if there was more storage in the room and sadly the bedding (duvet and mattress protector) were stained. We could have done with a fridge and coffee machine in the room, but there was an ice machine and coffee station elsewhere in the hotel!

Location was great, room was very clean and comfortable. It was great for 2 people - it's New York, rooms aren't going to be huge! The room and linens were so clean. We had a great stay.

Water pressure was a bit low but it was fine.

Location was the best. So close to the subway and so close to so many attractions and night life

Nothing really sticked out, it’s a very small room but I except that in New York
