Very clean and excellent customer service

1- The hotel parking lot is not free. They tell you the parking / night is $32 but they charge you $36,79$ (taxes included) . I wish if they had told me it’s $36,79 . 2- I booked the hotel through Booking.com for four nights and I payed the the EXCT price to the hotel ( but the invoice at the check out shows the price of the last night CAD$211.40 is higher than the other ones CAD$145.79 . When I asked why? I received a message from the hotel saying the price of the last night is higher than the other ones, which can be normal in the hotel business.

location was great, of course not in old quebec city - however only a 20-30 min uphill walk over and definitely worth the savings (we did this walk every day for 3 days, and with a stroller -lots of busy streets and shops to see along the way). the area felt very safe and the hotel is a 30 second walk from restaurants and shops in St-Roch (rue saint-joseph E). unfortunately parking was not free but the staff were very helpful, and recommended the indigo parking across the street (20 second walk) which only cost 16$ a day opposed to the the 32$ a day the hotel was charging (for the gravel parking). definitely met our expectations, anytime we needed anything the staff brought it over, and always very friendly. we have a 3 year old who still sleeps in a crib and it was in our room when we checked in (free of charge). the pool was also great for the rainy days! would definitely stay here again!

My stay at Hôtel Québec Best Western PLUS Centre-Ville was lovely, the location was great as it was within a short walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops nearby (if you visit in early September, there's a street festival a street away which was great fun). The hotel itself was great with helpful staff on reception that helped with any questions I had (check-in was also quick) I didn't use the gym but the swimming pool was great - with washrooms available to use to get changed in. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with plug sockets close to the bed to charge devices which was especially handy.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and answered all of my questions. They were happy to use English when my French ran out. The room was comfortable and had plenty of room for me and my 2 kids. The location is a bit of a hike (MOSTLY VERTICAL) to the Old City, but it is very central for catching a city bus up the hill, and well serviced by taxis and ubers. It's less than 2km away from the train station. There are a lot of nice restaurant options in the neighbourhood. The pool was great!

Check-in is not until 4 pm, which was not very convenient when we arrived in the morning with 2 kids - to be fair, they were very clear about that in all their communications, and they happily stored our luggage while we waited. Laundry was an issue. The hotel does not have laundry facilities and all the walkable laundromats have recently closed (The neighbourhood is very visibly in the process of being gentrified). Our choices were lug our laundry up the hill to the old city, or get on a bus to the north shore. It was a short bus ride, and easy to figure out, but it wasn't ideal.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an excellent time! The room was great, just what we needed, comfy bed and couch/armchair so we had somewhere else to sit which was nice. Location was great, close to bus stops and restaurants/shops nearby. Only 15-20 minutes walk into the old city. The restaurant bar at the hotel was fantastic!! Delicious food and even better cocktails! Bartenders/servers were awesome :)

Entrance to the hotel was a bit weird as there's so much construction going on across the road/down the street but it was totally fine and not noisy, so all good!

Their address is listed as 330 de la Couronne. The blank wall at that address has no entrance to a hotel or any sign. As my husband kept driving, I called the hotel on my iPhone to tell them we couldn't find them and after many explanations as to where their outdoor parking was etc, they finally told me the entrance to their hotel is at 378 rue du Roi. This is a small street just around the corner., When I questioned them about this confusing situation, I was told that it was due to all sorts of construction going on around them. It was not a good start to our mini vacation in Quebec City.

Helpful, courteous and friendly staff, perfect location for shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Disappointed by the huge increases in price of a room. It is double what I used to pay before the pandemic. They have done some very tasteful renovations but have reduced staff numbers. There used to be 2 employees at the entrance to help with baggage etc. But now the desk staff has to fill in for them resulting in longer wait time.

The hotel is walking diatance from thw city center, it’s not inside the old city walls though. Parking was close by and easy to use. Our room was clean and comfortable.

I didn’t expect breakfast but staff at the front desk highlighted that there’s bo breakfast for booking.com customert specifically. Understand it from an economic perspective but wouldn’t frame it like that as I’m sure booking brings them a lot of guests.

The hotel had a nice little pool. The restaurant looked lovely, but we ate out each evening. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Québec City. There is an underground car park opposite the hotel which is half the price of the hotel car park.

Pricey hotel parking (we parked opposite in an underground car park for half the price). We arrived after dark and the area is a little sketchy at night despite the fact that it has a number of hotels and restaurants.

All the staff were very kind and very accommodating to us, which was grateful because we do not speak French. The food in both the hotel restaurants was delicious!

Room 318 toilet did not seem to have enough water pressure to flush properly . Our room was also right between 2 families who were travelling together. All the kids would run back and forth to the 2 rooms (316 and 320?). They should have been in ajoining rooms together.
