The location is very central, perfect for sight-seeing in London. Different subway stations are within walking distance. The British Museum is just around the corner. Breakfast is good - you can get English breakfast, fresh fruits, cerials. If you have an food-allergies or riquire something special for breakfast it is best to conttact the staff same days prior to arrival to give them the chance to prepare accordingly. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had rooms with shared shower and toilet. Those were always clean. Yet, closing doors of the facilities as well as the doors to the rooms made a lot of noise. We had rooms under the roof with only a tiny window, which made it difficult to get fresh air or to ventilate the room. Mattress of beds were a bit on the thin side as the width of the single beds.

Location of this hotel is brilliant - a couple of minutes walk from Goodge Street Underground Station, and about a 10 minute walk from Euston, which was perfect especially since we could store our luggage after check out free of charge and collect it on our way to the train station. Although the hotel was basic, it was excellent value for money. Our room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and it had everything we needed for one night (it had tea/coffee, hair dryer, large TV, sink, lots of plug sockets, mirrors, a desk and chair) The hotel felt very secure and safe, since nobody without a door key could enter the building.. The owner of the hotel was very polite and very helpful (even carried our case up the stairs!) The food and choice at breakfast was excellent

The hotel is a beautiful listed building, however this means that it has a lot of stairs to climb so isn't very accessible. Staff at breakfast were not very approachable, and we found them very rude. However, food was lovely and it was served very quickly and efficiently.

Located in a row of hotels on Gower Street this is convenient for Euston and Tottenham Court Road Station about a 10 minute walk from each. The breakfast was lovely - not overcooked and with attentive service and a good range. Drinking my morning coffee in the garden was a nice relaxed start to a busy day.

Like a lot of London hotels you do not get a big room. The shower took ages to warm up in the morning. There is no air-con in this hotel (fans are available) and there was some street noise - but this is central London and it is an old building which is part of the charm.

Everything was more than what I expected. I was 10 minutes away from everything. The staff was extremely polite, professional and organised. The breakfast had a lot of choice. The English breakfast was well cooked and served in time. I loved the collection of pottery used too. The room was great! It was comfortable, it had a good internet connection and the tea cup area was well organised.

I should have stayed longer. I loved sitting in the garden. Dan and all the workers were so welcoming and kind.

The location of the hotel is optimal, close to tube stations, the Euston Rail station, museums, retaurants and shops. It was a climb to our room, but it had everything we needed and was very clean. The window opened over the garden, which is a lovely place to sit. The china used in the breakfast area was beautiful, and the meals themselves offered variety and were tasty. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Wish we could have extended our stay but the hotel is very popular.

This hotel is situated in a great location, a five minute walk from the nearest underground station and main bus routes. At the same time it was in a lovely quiet location and our room overlooked a lovely walled garden, where you could sit outside. A hearty breakfast was included in our room rate. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable, along with two easy chairs. The manager Vince was exceptional with his customer service and provided a very warm welcome and could not do enough to help make our stay enjoyable and the team in the breakfast service area were friendly and efficient. Represents very good value for money given the location and access to transport.

When you are leaving, if you are relying on a taxi service, make sure you allow plenty of time for one to arrive. The staff did what they could with helping book a taxi, though for a considerable time, no taxi wanted to accept the journey we wanted to make. Beyond the control of the hotel, just a handy hint.

The hotel was well kept and welcoming. The communal areas and general ambiance was nice. The rooms were functional, clean and comfortable without being excellent. The basic rooms had shared toilet and shower facilities which isn't the best but were very clean and only a small number of guests used these facilities. Most importantly, I really left with the impression that the owners and staff really care about their business, the service and breakfast were great.

Superb location, just a few minutes from Goodge Street Tube Station on the central line. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

Mattress not very comfortable (lumpy) and shower stopped working mid flow - I think the system struggles if lots of people use water at once. Had to ask to use iron/ironing board and only able to iron outside the office on ground floor. The many stairs could be a challenge for some guests.

The staff were polite. The breakfast was pretty good. I asked for a full English breakfast and it was delicious. After checking out, they allowed me to store my luggage there until my train arrived. The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its location.

The room was cozy but quite small. The shower experience was disappointing. The water pressure was consistently low, and the flow was frequently interrupted.

All staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful, far beyond what you get in most of other hotels. I felt really like at home. Location is not far from the subway station so can be reached by foot, or if the weather is good can walk to many central attractions. I have got very quiet room looking over the garden, was small but there is everything you need for just staying overnight. There is the British breakfast which was fresh and very delicious.

Would be nice to have a small table and the chair in the room in case you need to use the PC from the hotel. Also wifi connection was breaking sometimes, luckily I didn't have to work from the room. The rest, everything was perfect!
