The hotel was a short taxi ride from the Ouistreham ferry. The tram to Caen centre to pick up my car rental was a 10 minute walk away. Free parking at the hotel. I used this location as a central spot for visiting the Normandy region so the location close to the highways was super convenient. The room was a standard size with enough room for my large suitcase. And, enough counter space for my toiletries in the bathroom.. The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. There was a desk that had enough space for me to easily use my laptop. The onsite restaurant was quite good for evening meal options. I also appreciated the snack and drink fridge in the lobby to purchase a treat or two. Friendly staff.

The room's window opened onto the second floor outdoor walkway, so I had the shade always half closed. I had the lights on in the room even on the brightest of days, but really this doesn't matter as I was rarely in the room.

Easy to find. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good. It had yogurt, fruits, cereal, jams, bread, little crepes, toppings, scrambled eggs and bacon. There was also a latte machine and a machine for apple juice or orange juice. The room was clean, had a very deep tub which was wonderful for soaking. The bed was comfortable and the windows had black out blinds. In an area that wasn't too busy so we left the window open to let cool air in.

The parking lot is big but not big enough to accommodate everyone to park in front of their rooms. The AC also did not work in our room, would not even turn on.

Excellent continental breakfast with wide choice. Comfortable bed, clean facilities.

Our ferry was scheduled to arrive at 2200 hrs in Caen. The motel's response to my heads up warning of potential late checkin was unhelpful, simply that the reception " closes at 11 ". After persisting I was messaged to ring the hotel ahead of arrival for how to find the room cards. When I made the call from the ferry the phone line was dead soon after ringing out, so we had to hope for the best. Fortunately Reception was still open when we arrived around 22.45 and we checked in without a problem - but we did not welcome the stress caused.

room fully met our needs/expectations. bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was exceptional-Location was ideal for us, within 20mins of the ferry port in Caen, allowing a break before travelling south and/or arriving in Ouisthram for a next day returm ferry to England. Reception availability was extremely convenient.

no complaints at all. Observation: Directions to the hotel are a little vague for a first time visitor, perhaps a few more signs might help?

We've stayed here a few times now and will stay again if available, it's very convenient for us. The price is good value for the room, the rooms we've stayed in have always been very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for an overnight stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's just such a simple non- complicated place to stay, easy to find, easy to park, convenient checking in/out times and a very good breakfast if required. Recommended.

There isn't anything not to like.

Location is ideal, stayed here for 4 nights whilst did day trips to Normandy coastline. Continental breakfast has plenty of choices and staff here are very helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean and housemaid makes up room every day. Overall, great value for money

It was located in a perfect location for my trip towards Le Havre, this was a stop over for us. It is located closed to a super market and 10min drive to the city centre. very calm and nice location. Perfect for a couple. The staffs are very friendly. Free Parking and Clean Rooms

Pillows - I am not sure of the pillow choices as I noted most of the French hotels are with tiny pillows which made it sightly uncomfortable but then its a value for money hotel compared to other hotels around this location. I would recommend a standard size pillows. The breakfast is quite standard.

Needed somewhere to stay off the evening ferry from Portsmouth to Caen. Ferry delayed so didn't arrive at hotel till midnight. Phoned staff and they arranged room entry. Motel style with rooms opening straight onto carpark. Condition of room good but quite small. Very clean. Very good breakfast with wide selection of hot and cold. Safe overnight parking. Would stay again and recommend. Wifi OK.

Rooms quite small and tight.

Everything was fine. Laurence at reception gave me his phone so I could contact my phone company as my mobile wasn't working in France (we'd just arrived!). It took 30 minutes or so to sort out but without his help we'd have been in a muddle. I cannot thank him enough: what a wonderful, kind man he is.

It was all fine.

We used this property as we were arriving on the late Brittany Ferries boat from Portsmouth and it was only a few minutes’ drive away. The ferry was delayed and when I spoke to the receptionist he helpfully explained the procedure for accessing the room if we arrived after 11pm. This was the ideal room for an overnight stay before we headed off to our holiday destination. Clean, really comfortable bed and great breakfast at a good price. Very happy.
