Central location with everything within walking distance! The area seems to be mostly newly built, so there is some construction, but it's not a major issue. The apartment was spacious with a minimalist, clean design—plus, no carpets! (This seems to be a big thing for me; everything feels so much cleaner without carpets.) You’re given a key code for the main entrance and the room itself. Our room wasn't cleaned until right before the official check-in, and since there's no reception like in a traditional hotel, it's best to arrive at check-in time and not before.

The only downside was that the heating system couldn’t be adjusted. I would have liked to turn it up to warm up after coming in from the cold, as it tended to be a bit chilly for me.

Still a building site with accompanying occasional noise and dust. Not too much a problem and I believe the price reflects any minor inconvenience.

Amazing location. Very modern, clean and new. Liked the sliding doors for privacy for the couch bed. Entry with code was good.

The bedroom and bed are extremely small and the bed is incredibly squeaky. It was impossible to turn over without waking up the other person. This meant we used the couch instead. The apartment was so hot despite turning the heating down to the lowest setting. Made sleeping difficult. It would have been great to have a tea towel in the kitchen. And no problem to not provide toiletries but it would have been nice to inform the guests before so we could pack accordingly. Also it felt unnecessary to charge for left luggage seeing it is just a cupboard downstairs.

Loved everything about this place! The location, the view, all the space and conveniences. Great stay! Would stay again for sure!

The ONLY thing I didn’t love about it was that I didn’t get the door code or even the apartment number email before my arrival so I had no way to get in and no one to ask. I spoke to a nearby business who told me they actually had a front desk/reception office. Once I knew that everything was easy to take care of. The existence and location of the reception would have been very useful information to have ahead of time. Had I gotten the code ahead of time, ease of check in and entry was great.

Location - close to bus stop, it is very handy to go anywhere I like. View - provide good views in both back and front sides. Facilities - clear heater work well, warm.

Quite difficult to find the building, as there are several building called Total Department. Instruction is clear after you found the building, while it was very difficult for me and another customer to find it when we arrived at Skansegata 9, the address provided. Would be better to provide a simple map with photos. Limited daily necessaries provided - no shampoo, no napkin, no coffee provided - even though there is a coffee machine.

The apartment was cozy and new, with all the necessary amenities (uncl. washing machine). The views over the fjord and up towards the city were wonderful. The problems we encountered could be fixed with a bucket and by avoiding some furniture.

The apartment was new and several things were already broken (cupboard in the bedroom, sink in the bathroom). On the plus side, we needed not to be afraid for our kids to destroy anything. Contact to the host was scarce - we worte about the sink with a comment that it need not be fixed on the same weekend - however, one week later we had still not heard back nor had anyone try to fix this.

Location was great, on the waterfront and within easy walking distance of places of interest. Good restaurants and an awesome bakery are on site. The area is under construction, but the building we stayed in was largely complete. The building is well soundproofed, so construction noise wasn't an issue at all. The apartment was new, very clean, and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for.

Oddly, the large bedroom window faced the main corridor, meaning the curtains had to be kept closed all the time. Also, probably due to construction, there was a strong sewer smell coming from the shower drain. We covered the drain (when not showering) which solved the issue. Even with the minor issues, we'd still recommend this apartment and return if possible.

A great location in Tromso. Very new development, so new that it is still being built but that wasn't a problem. Fantastic view. The area is going to be lovely when all the landscaping is finished. Great restaurant and bakery on the doorstep. We loved it and I would go back.

As we were there for the Midnight Sun we found that the blinds in the bedroom did not keep the sun out at night. As the sun shines directly into the bedroom window all night I am surprised that the apartments weren't designed with integral window blinds. I would definitely recommend an eye mask if you are there in June. The apartment didn't have any extras. Shower gel, shampoo, etc would be a good extra.

The house is clean and spacious with perfect location - within 10 minutes walk from our tour meeting point/bus stop/supermarket. Walking distance to the city allowed us to only took bus twice (from/to airport during our stay at Tromsø).One of my favorite accommodation that we have stayed all these years. The person in charge is very nice, fast response and attend to problem we faced in a very short time. We can even see aurora from our balcony. Though the view is better if you go to rooftop but it’s best to see it in the apartment when you have fireplace in your living room so you won’t stay cool all night outside. Highly recommended!
