Absolutely loved the picturesque landscape. Facilities and room were very clean. Smelt beautiful. Comfortable bed, linen, pillows ect. Soft towels. The restaurant was superb. Bbq Facilities great. Pool with a view. Nature at your doorstep. Owners were very accomadating, very friendly and professional manner. All staff take pride in their work and show great workmanship towards the motel. Great value for money. Close to all local attractions, and quieter than in town (crickets) We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful environment! Karen, the owner, sent me a text message explaining check in on the Sunday, and even upgraded to a superior room. Her text was very clear and friendly in tone. When I arrived after 6pm, self checkin was easy. The room was a double queen with bathroom and kitchenette, immaculately clean and well presented, with incredible view to the mountains. It is wheelchair accessible too. Despite the terrible storms, I slept well. There are heaps of huge grey kangaroos on the lawns which is great.

Everything was fine, very comfortable, clean, no problems at all.

We keep visiting grampians at least once a year. And we had booked the grampians motel once around 7-8 years back. We liked it so much that since then, for every visit, we tried to book it. Alas,every time it was sold out. We got lucky this time and got the family room we wanted. The thing we like the most is how open this place is - big playground, nice BBQ area, nice ground around it. It gives the real feel of being surrounded by nature yet having the comfort of a home (unlike tents). In both our stays we were greeted by Emu in the morning, right on our door. Lol... definitely, staff pushed them out of our way to keep us safe and the emu. Staff is helpful, you ring them even at 9 or 10 pm at night and they come and help you out.

The view was stunning of the Grampians. Buddy the kangaroo came right up to our motel room door for a pat - he was beautiful. The food at the views restaurant was delicious. The only downfalls of the family room was that there was only enough hot water for 1 person, not nearly enough and that the wifi was hit and miss, mostly miss. Staff were really lovely though.

Only 2 minutes of hot water, before it got stone cold. Definitely not enough for a family of 5 people. Wifi was extremely slow when it worked at all.

I had such a great time staying here. The couple who run it, Narissa and Luke are the kindest people and will go out of their way to help you. The location is absolutely fantastic. Full of kangaroos and cockatoos and absolutely stunning views . I was lucky enough to have a close encounter with Buddy the "resident" kangaroo. I would definitely come back here again. The pillows are comfortable too. I love stay here so much.

I wish people wouldn't turn on the air conditioning when it isn't needed. I don't think guests should be allowed to have air-conditioning on when they're not in their rooms. Climate change anyone? Australia has been on fire and this is just contributing to the problem.

Location is wonderful. Amazing views of The Grampians surrounding the motel. Lots of wildlife. Pool and playground were a nice addition for kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had great tasting food and worth trying, we were pleasantly surprised by the meals. Budget accommodation in a 5 star location.

The rooms could updated a little but for the price is sufficient. Air-conditioning rattles and couldn't sleep with it on and couldn't keep shower head upright, so just needs basic room maintenance. Tea / sugar and toilet paper were not restocked form previous booking. But it's a great location and we would be happy to return.

Lovely location. Probably wonderful in summer to sit and look at the views.

No communication with us about the restaurant not being open at all. We went over at 5pm to have a drink and then stay for dinner only to find everything open but nobody there. No sign to say it was closed. We rang the number to be told there was no cook that day due to illness. We know things happen but as we were the only people staying at the motel I think a message or phone call could have been made to us. We would have been appreciated knowing there was no dinner available as we had decided to not drive into town as the weather was a bit wet.

The room was attractive and comfortable with an amazing view of the mountains. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the cocktails were especially enjoyable. Very convenient location. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

On arrival we booked in for breakfast, but when we arrived to the restaurant in the morning (an hour before end of breakfast) we were told quite coldy that the cook had gone home. The breakfast was $15 and we were offered cereal as an alternative. A shame as the rest of our experience had been so positive.

Location

The electrical equipments were old. Toaster: Old and rusted and it couldn’t even fit the Woolworths bread as it’s so narrow. The bread crumbs were falling off from under the toaster. Refrigerator: The door handle was broken but it was at least in working condition. Blankets: None of the blankets were heating up. The remote control was just fast-blinking the LED lights. Television: The remote control couldn’t even change the channel. I can understand that regional HD connections are bad but even I couldn’t change the channel from the remote.

Nice open property with a long driveway and check in was easy! The bbq and pool facilities were great and the bar/restaurant was convenient after a long day of hiking. The staff were also so lovely and offered us free drinks when we checked in as our room cleaning was delayed by only 10-20 mins. We were happy to wait, but they really took care of us and made us feel welcomed. The location is close to town and lake Bellfield (for late night fishing). We also saw emus, kangas, a local cockatoo and plenty of ducks on the property.
