Breakfast was 150 pesos per person, which is quite a bit pricier than seeking your own food. But I must say that it was quite tasty and nutritious; there was a selection of fresh fruits, meats, potatoes, frijoles, milk, and orange juice. Along with cereal and coffee. And I love the room we stayed in; it was huge! For ~200 USD per night elsewhere in North America, I would never expect a nicely furnished room that can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people. There is just so much space. The hotel is also very, very close to Plaza de la Constitución; a 5 min walk at most. Therefore there is easy access to festivities and subway entrances on the plaza. Last but not least, while the staff may or may not speak fluent English, all the folks that I interacted with were friendly, patient, and helpful. I appreciate their service manning the 24-hr front desk.

My only gripe is that the room isn't quite sound proof, even with its windows permanently closed.. You will definitely be able to hear noisy festivities on the streets. I regret not bringing ear plugs to help me fall asleep.

Great location, the size and comfort of the family rooms, nice and comfy beds, good Breakfast, staff was extremely helpful and kind, nice Wi-fi

I see 2 improvement areas: First, the breakfast is served on the 4th floor, which it’s a nice open area, but when the weather is cold or it rains, like it happened during my stay, wasn’t pleasant; they should have a plan B for the clients. Second, the towels were worn out and looked old, not a big deal but it’s a simple detail that can improve the overall experience

Perfect location in walking distance to all relevant destinations in the historic center of town (and there are many!). Historic building renovated nicely to meet all needs (suite including pantry kitchen). Great decorations inside the whole building for the Dia de los Muertos holiday. A pleasure to start the day on the especially nice roof terrace with good breakfast included! Uber car service easily available at all times including transfer to the airport.

You have to be aware that you are in a very busy area of town. We felt however very safe/ no need to be afraid since there is a huge presence of police everywhere.

Ambience and aesthetics are great. Location in everything, worth it even just for this. Just a few steps from El Zocalo, Templo Mayor, and commercial area. I appreciated the 24hr free coffee. Generally, the staff are nice and polite, specifically Marcellano (if I remember his name correctly) who made an effort to ask if I needed help with bags and who was warm, welcoming, and even wished me a good return trip when I left.

Food and hospitality at breakfast on the 4th floor could use some improvement. No "good morning" from the server, I was the one who initiated the greeting. No one helped me find a dry table when it was raining. When it rains, there are are very few dry tables left for anyone to sit.

The location is fantastic. The old building is beautiful. The breakfast on the roof is quite good if included with the room. The price is very good considering the location and if you can put up with its downfalls. With a little bit of extra attention to detail, this hotel could command a much higher price. The coffee machine in the lobby makes very good espresso coffee for Mexico standards. Staff are nice.

Towels were old and grey. Shower was cold mostly. The shower flooded the bathroom floor even when very careful. The room is quite small which makes it difficult to have 2 suitcases in the space. Lumpy old matress. There is no hair-dryer unless you leave your ID at the front desk. There is no kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Breakfast was included and times weren't crazy early where you couldn't make it. The room was tight but for the cost, it wasn't bad at all. Extra towels and water were brought when rooms were cleaned which isn't always common unless you ask. We got there early, before 3pm check-in, and were happy they accommodated locking up our luggage until then.

a little variety in the breakfast, I'm Mexican and can eat eggs and beans often but some bread selection or variety in the fruit would be nice. My major annoyance is not only having to ask for a hair dryer but also having to leave my ID to keep in my room. When I returned the dryer they were having a hard time even finding the ID which made me very nervous. Lastly, the worst was the super thin walls. I heard extracurricular activities through the walls I preferred not to and everything could be heard from the hall and I am in a "family suite". Our son was oblivious thank goodness but we were there to make the most of each day so early mornings were hard with the commotion at night

The place is very charming and unique. Location is really good and the area is safe. The rooms were small but big enough to feel comfortable. Beds were comfy and style inside was very modern. Super clean. Staff was very helpful and polite and warm, and when we encountered a sink problem immediately they were fixing it.

The shower splashes outside the shower divider, would be nicer to have a glass enclosure. And the sink faucet makes difficult to wash the face without splashing. But the housekeeping was superb!

I liked the room. It was clean and super comfortable. Zero complaints. The building is beautiful and allows one to appreciate the architecture in the historical center of Mexico. The staff is very friendly and gave me a lot of tips to explore Centro histórico, including some fantastic places to eat close by.

The location can feel desolate at night. It's wiser to take an Uber when moving around late at night. No problem the rest of the day.

Great location - close to Zocalo, but on a (slightly) quieter street. The employees were super-friendly and the whole place had a nice historical feel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and my son's room had a giant 100-year old safe in it! I originally considered nearby competitors - Hampton, Historico Boutique, Hotel Isabel - and didn't regret my choice for a second. They even let us have a super-late checkout (1pm) to align with our flight. The hotel was easy to find, with a clean and welcoming entrance courtyard.

Excellent breakfast, roof top, sunny and breezy for eating and working. Excellent location in the lower half of Historic Center. nearby restaurants, bakeries (Pasteleria Madrid and Idea), pharmacy/doctor/lab (Dr Simi) Madero pedestrian street. Also Metrobus 4SUR

watch your step on ground floor, its 200 year old building (the rooms and roof top are renovated)
