Great fidget option for Chaweng Beach. Located on the quieter south side of the beach across the road from Chaweng Cove Resort, it’s a quick 30 second walk to the resort where you have access to the pool, beach and restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the AC is strong. The water pressure is a bit low in the shower but that’s not a real issue. Highly recommend staying here

The hotel was amazing! The room was very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially the housekeepers, who checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. Breakfast was a 10/10 – a huge variety of options, everything tasted great, and the view of the beach was stunning. Even if you arrived last, the food stayed warm, which was a big plus. The location was excellent, situated on a lively street with a Seven Eleven and a laundry service just across the road. The hotel also offers scooter rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient, and the taxi service to the airport was hassle-free. The pool was fantastic too – a perfect spot to relax!

Initially booked the budget room due to the main hotel fully booked. But on the day of my arrival, there are vacancies and asked for an upgrade to superior double room in the main hotel. But first briefly about the budget room. I read one day before, a lot of negative reviews about it. And it seemed to be consistent across different websites. However, on the day of my arrival, what I experienced was the complete opposite. The service was perfect: bathroom was fine, WC was working, shower is not separated between cold and hot (takes time to heat up but works), the driver that picked me up from the airport, helped with my luggage (I did not even touch it ever since the airport until I was in my room). The only thing that is true: nobody in the reception of the budget hotel. But the main hotel is across the street, so should not be a problem. Now, I was lucky that there was 2 free rooms that day, and I chose the superior double room. Again, the same guy helped me with the luggage. Crossing the street again, and brought it to the new room. Before I made my decision, they allowed me to look into the rooms as well. So no complain from my side 😁 The breakfast is super. They have balanced variety of foods. And what is important for me is that they uphold the authenticity of Thai foods. They made it spicy when it is supposed to be spicy. So thumbs up for that! 👍 Please keep it like this. Do not dilute the recipe only to please those who cannot eat spicy. The bar, pool , and the beach are superb! Some of my colleagues stayed in other hotel along the same line as Chaweng but they complained that the water was super hot and no waves. Here at this place, everything is perfect! I swam in the morning, during the day, until afternoon. Watched the sunrise multiple times as well. The thai massage is gentler and bearable compared to the one I had in Bangkok. The masseuse are all very nice and experienced. Combined with the sea breeze, it was like a relaxing afternoon nap.

There are a few quirks here and there. But in general, nothing worth mentioning

When you stay at chawing budget hotel, you get access to all of the facilities of the cove resort which is stunning. Lovely 3 tiered pool, private beach front and amazing breakfast. You are spending half the money to get what the other guests get, highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel. The cove resort is a 30 second walk from the budget hotel. The hotel is opposite a 7-11, pharmacy, self serve laundry and an amazing fruit and shake station. Additionally, they had a very good fire show on every Monday

The equipment was clean. The equipment was modern, clean. The pool was fine. The breakfast was very delicious, wide selection of food. I can recommend this accomodation.

Next to the pool was reconstruction of a new restaurant when we were there so it was not so convenient to spend relax time at the pool but it is understandable. One of the nights was very loudy because of the people who came very late from the city centre.

We just spent the last 17 days here, even though you're in the budget side you still get to use all the facilities of chaweng cove across the road. Staff are so helpful and friendly especially the pool staff always jump up to get you a sun lounger or set you up on the beach. The traffic controller outside is the sweetest man ever. We rented our bike from reception as we were more comfortable leaving the passport with them and had no problems. The massage parlour across the way is one of the cheapest you will find (if you haggle) and their foot massages are incredible the women are all so friendly. We will definitely be back. Little boat and noi are great restaurants nearby you don't need to go into central samui altough it's only a 20 minute stroll.

The food in the hotel restaurant is a little over priced for what you get. Not the best food.

Location was great, out of the hustle but not too far to walk maybe 20min a long beach. Budget hotel itself is very basic as the name suggests, but main hotel is pretty much right there which has great facilities.

For the price we paid, no complaints. You can't expect 5 star facilities at that price rate, room was certainly comfortable and bathroom was more than sufficient.

We really liked the location of this property and that it is linked to the beachfront cove hotel. We were able to use their facilities throughout our stay. The staff throughout the Cove were super friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food and staff were exceptional. We even hired a bike from the Cove and when we eventually moved hotel to Lamai we kept the bike and returned when we left Samui.

Fantastic value and you have full access to the facilities of the Chaweng Cove Resort which is just across the road and includes a good buffet breakfast.

The only thing not a plus is there is no view from the room, but if the room is just for sleeping it’s no issue at all.

You need just to cross the road to get to your private beach with sun beds. The breakfast is very big with a plenty of dishes, hot meals, pastry, soups, eggs, cereal, anything you want.

a half of the rooms have bars on the windows with totally no view. We had a room with a great view at the hill but our friends not. I don’t understand why hosts can’t remove these bars, I don’t believe they are so functional that having them is more important than providing at least sunlight to your guests
