The location of the hotel is easy and convenient to stay at if you are planning to be downtown most of the time. The staff when I was checking in was really friendly and helpful, and even the housekeeping as well.

The room is pretty tight for a king size room because it's the same size if you book a standard room. There's barely any space to move if you have luggages with you or your friends. The days we were staying at there's only 1 elevator working for the entire building which is kind of hassle. There was a mandatory amenity fee of $25 you have to pay every night you stay which they will tell you when you checked in. We have a breakfast included but later found out it was a "to go" kind of breakfast The girl who checked us out didn't even bother to ask how was our stay, just printed my invoice and then that's it.

Everything was good and we were very please with our visit in New York. It says that breakfast is included, which it is, but it is NOT european continental standard. You need to order one of the selections from the menu. So if you are hungry person that might be too little. Standard room were a bit small.

Location was perfect and room were clean.

The hotel was located perfectly to see all the sights within walking distance, but far enough away that it was fairly quiet at night. The hotel was very clean, very friendly, and great with children. The staff were really lovely. Everyday they put on a welcome hot drink (hot chocolate) with cream and sprinkles and popcorn which our children loved. As it was Christmas they had candy for the children daily..and chocolate. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was lovely. When they knew it was a special trip for us (big birthday) they threw in a very large piece of chocolate cake that fed 4 and another free cocktail. It was a really comfortable stay, the rooms were cleaned daily which was lovely.

The room size was a little snug for 4 people, but I expected that when I read the reviews. Perfectly fine as you can sit downstairs and have a drink and food and play games with the children. I would still recommend this hotel.

4th visit to NYC but first stay at the VOCO. Great location within walking distance from Times Square, Empire State, madison square garden. Hotel had everything we needed and was clean, I managed to get a good deal at £500 for 3 nights, also there was no resort fees that some other hotels charge. Would definitely stay again.

Although the room was small, it had everything we needed (including an iron and an iron board, which is a huge bonus :D). In the lounge there is a water dispenser to refill your water bottle. The room was very clean, and the staff very friendly :) breakfast is a menu option, we liked the offer and we had breakfast at the hotel every day of our stay.

We did not have a good experience when we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant - food arrived over 40 mins later, the waitress messed up our order and overall did not provide a good service.

I am very very particular about where I lay my head. Getting a 10/10 from me is nearly impossible. This hotel is Soooo cute and amazingly clean! Our room was so tiny but very luxe and reminiscent of a newly built NY flat. The entire staff is 10/10. The night bartender and Michael at the front desk truly deserve a raise. Housekeeping ladies were most kind and accommodating. All of the facilities were kept in top shape. One of the elevators went down but it was back running over night. I’ve never been to a hotel where everything works. Especially in New York. The location of the hotel is extremely close to anything in Times Square and Penn Station. You’re nearly on top of Madison Square Garden walking wise. The price for the room was chefs kiss especially since you’re staying in New York like I said the room was small but you honestly get what you pay for and it was worth it. The staff nicely kept our bags after check out so that we didn’t have to lug them around all day long until our flight. Definitely will book again thank you for having us.

Typical decent NYC hotel. The staff was very nice and the room although on the smaller side was comfortable and very clean. Location was great in terms of easy access to public transportation and everything else the city has to offer.

Very small room for 2 guests (that can be expected in NYC). The Hotel immediate surrounding not very nice. At the check-in they are securing and holding additional 28$ per day for any incidentals. This was annoying and in my view unnecessary. Lastly there is the infamous resort fee which now at least is added upfront to the Booking total cost.

- free welcome drink on day of arrival - cold water available to fill up your water bottles - the bed and pillows were so comfortable! - great location, 1 block away from subway entrance and 2 blocks away from Penn station which was very helpful as we got the LIRR to JFK airport. - staff were friendly and helpful - can leave your luggage with the hotel on day of checkout

- lifts can be very slow. We took the stairs a few times instead - there are homeless people that frequent the street, however I didn’t feel scared or worried at any time - fridge doesn’t automatically come with the room however you can request one

Excellent location, very friendly staff, and the beds were comfortable. We travelled with our two kids (10 and 13) and we had a great stay. You choose the breakfast from a menu, there was also a kids menu. We wanted to book a private taxi back to the airport and we got really good help from John in the reception to book a luxury car for only $20 more than we would have to pay for the shared drive you could order at the concierge at the hotel. The driver was on time (sharp) and the car was really nice and comfortable. All in all very happy with our stay.

Elevators was not very efficient in the weekend when the hotel was full, but worked well the other days. Breakfast was not great but ok.
