The cleanliness and welcoming staff were exceptional and the surprise was the quality of the restaurant food which were were not planning to use but were so please we did , as the quality of the food and drinks were well beyond what we expected and is the positive lasting memory of our stay. The hoists / manager was also warm and engaging and she made us feel engaged and really welcome . The roomed and facilities were clean and functional but a bit dated .

Decor and overall look was clean and functional but dated. The food quality aand menu if all dishes are as good as we experienced in the restaurant are far better than the decor and feeling of the aged facilities.

The location and the property were excellent. We had no car, but were able to walk to the Gondola and Luge, the 3D Art Museum and the Mitai Maori Village. There was a bus stop very close by for everything else. The stream on the property is beautiful. We played ping pong and a round of golf each evening. And even though we visited during Spring Break, it was very quiet.

We paid extra to have a room with a hot tub, but the hot tubs were not working while we were there for 5 nights, so never got to enjoy a soak. We were told the plumber was trying to fix them, but we were never offered a refund for the extra we had paid.

Wife and I visited for a special anniversary. We arrived with a respiratory illness beginning, so ended up stuck in the room for 3 of the 4 days. The cooking facilities were basic, but good enough to self cater - very important given the circumstances prevented us from eating out. The outdoor hot tub was a huge blessing, allowing some relaxation in beautiful surroundings, while we were restricted in not being able to go out due to sickness. To top things off, the staff (incl restaurant) were a great help during our stay and even gave us a special surprise gift for our anniversary.

The only recommendation I'd make would be to supply a saucepan and portable electric hot plate to allow basic stovetop cooking (eg. boiling eggs or veges). The electric cooker supplied in the room was ok, but too big to do something as simple as boiling an egg.

Good location right across from the park and very near town. Lots of space for the whole family and nice big bedrooms. Great washer and dryer to use and comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean.

Entrance was a little unusual with a shared lobby/booking office space and then a glass sliding door inside at the base of the internal staircase right next to the glass sliding door entrance of the downstairs unit. The two glass sliding doors were at right angles to one another and almost touching in the corner, so I felt like we might be disturbing the downstairs unit every time we came and went. Wasn’t really an issue but wasn’t what I expected as thought I was booking a stand-alone place so wasn’t expecting a shared entrance.

Comfortable clean room which was bigger than expected and lovely and warm. Both double and single bed were very comfortable and loved the selection of pillows and extra blankets. The outdoor spa was a real treat and thoroughly enjoyed it each night. Really friendly staff and loved the personalised notes and their helpfulness. Brilliant how close it was to the Skyline so my son could ride there and go mountain biking while I relaxed. Didn't use the other facilities or have a walk around due to the weather but great to have available.

Could hear the trucks driving past at night but understandable as it is close to the main road.

Our room exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and to our surprise had a second bathroom which was a huge bonus. We enjoyed our private spa bath, and our grand daughter loved the heated outdoor pool. We also made use of the onsite restaurant which was extremely convenient, and our meals were delicious. The staff were very friendly, the beds comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. It was a quiet stay which enabled us to get a good nights sleep. There is a little walk alongside a creek onsite which we would like to have done, but we simply ran out of time.

There was nothing that we didnt like.

The staff are absolutely friendly from the moment you confirm your booking right too the end. We enjoyed it so much . Clean , comfortable , our bathroom was topped with towels and loo paper daily even though we took our own they did not hesitate to top up, our kitchenette was always topped with coffee tea and sugar , we went through those daily ! The top ups felt like absolute magic ! Shout out to the cleaners , we were here longer than those around us and the cleaners were SO ON!!! The entire place is so well maintained , absolutely no bugs or critters in sight & the hot pool was amazing ! The place is so clean its phenomenal! Well done hosts and a very well done to those who clean and maintain the place well your doing an amazing job! We will definitely be back ! The room we booked was the exact one we got the photos are super accurate !

The fact that we couldn't stay longer :(

Cosy room. Well appointed and a good size. The private spa was a bonus. We had to fill it ourselves. But meant the water would be fresh for us to use. I loved the use of local photography for the art on the walls. The compendium advised the areas the photos were taken. Nice touch. Loved that our unit have a private deck that overlooked the fresh water stream. You could take a walk through the little bush glade. We discovered the games room and outdoor mini golf area for guests to use. The outdoor pool was set at a blamy 33 degC. Toasty warm!!! Finally, a nice personal touch with a personalised note, balloons and some chocolates to celebrate our wedding anniversary waiting in our room. It made us feel very welcome and special.

The carpet from the kitchen area to the bedroom/living area had some threads that weren't quite caught be the aluminum carpet strip. But didn't detract from the overall quality of fittings too much. Just needs a bit of cosmetic attention.

We had an amazing couple of nights stay at Ripple . The staff were so friendly. Poppy was the staff member that greeted us and she was extremely friendly and helpful It was pouring rain when we got there and i locked my keys in the unit but Poppy went out of her way to help us. .The facilities are fantastic swimming pool spa area .We had our own private spa which was amazing. Mini golf was so much fun a stunning stream and garden area. Games room, laundry and restaurant. Across the road from Skyline and few minutes drove to shopping areas. Close to attractions . Seriously can't find anything negative to say. Highly recommend this beautiful accommodation.

Spacious and comfortable family apartment; staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Lots of thoughtful touches, including locally roasted coffee and milk in the room and the option to forego daily cleaning in exchange for the property making g a $5 donation to charity. Property is located away from the main thermal areas, so there was no smell (at least not with the prevailing winds during our two night stay). The restaurant was an absolute gem.

Nothing at all to dislike about this property.
