Nice and vintage hotel idealy situated on the PM cable car line. When you arrive from the airport, take the yellow bart line direction san francisco, exit at powel street stop. There is a kiosk to buy the MUNI card (or install the app and buy a 24h ticket + activate). With the muni card + cable car, you can take directly the PM cable car to the hotel, china town or end up a fisherman's warf, perfect! Hotel is nice and clean, vitage at it should be. Typical US breakfast was included. Very friendly and helfull.at the reception.

The ease of checking in and arriving is fantastic. The hotel is very chic, in a great location just a block from Chinatown and minutes from the Muni and other public transportation, making travel to attractions and landmarks very easy. The room was so comfortable, perfect for weekend stays.

Parking was not hard to find, although I think if the hotel had a valet option it would take away the anxiety of looking for affordable and nearby parking.

I like the homey atmosphere of the boutique hotel. The staff - while there were many guests, I felt unhurried as the staff in-charge attended to my queries and needs patiently. We also liked the location, it was close to where we wanted to go, Chinatown, Union Square, etc....

Breakfast was okay but there should be more breakfast choices for gluten free and also vegetarian...

The location was the best part. It is just two blocks from the Union Square plaza, and every tour starts from there, so it was perfect. The staff was great, the breakfast was very good, almost something for everyone's liking.

OMG, the bathroom was unbelievably small. It was almost impossible to dress inside it. Also, they really need to update the elevator.

There is so much to like about this hotel. The staff I met were very smart and professional. The price/ value ratio for this hotel was very good for us. I researched the local hotels a lot before arriving and couldn't find another local hotel that was as reasonably priced as this one, but still offered the value. The breakfast was essentially free with our room rate that was already reasonable. It wasn't amazing but definitely kept us well-fed every morning with food we enjoyed. I loved wine-o-clock each day when I got to sample local California wine and sit in front of the lovely fireplace. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The decor is showing signs of wear and tear. There is so much plastic waste at breakfast!

Great, quirky, revamped, vintage hotel, beautifully clean, comfy beds, super friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. In a great position for exploring San Francisco. Free wine in happy hour and a chance to catch up with other guests and share stories.

A bit noisy early morning as it’s on a main route, the air conditioning units were effective but again little noisy. There were no restaurant or bar facilities on an evening, however in fairness there was no objection to bringing food in to eat in the lounge area. The hotel is kerbside, so a roof garden would have been nice.

Great value for money in a good location. The guy at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Decent rooms, really OK for the price you pay, all comfort is there and there is more than enough space. The breakfast buffet is a plus. With a family of 5 it saves you 60-70 USD at the Starbucks, and we enjoyed it. Chinatown is around the corner and while my family was asleep I also did an evening excursion to see the Tenderloin tranq zombies, which is a few blocks away, but very contained to that district, so you are not disturbed at all by this in the immediate hotel area. Recommended, both the hotel and the excursion!

Bed was extremely COMFORTABLE ================== We didn't use the gym or the conference room but had BREAKFAST daily ( 7 days) ...Breakfast options:- ..Eggs(Scrambled), Hash Brown/ Roasted Potato, Ham/Sausage ..Pan Cakes, Muffins, Croissant/Donuts ..Fruits/Yogurt/Corn Flakes ..Coffee/Orange Juice ..Bread toaster belt The sumptuous breakfast kept us full as we went around exploring SFO. ...Free Water (half * only for this) I've often come across hotels either charging you for drinking water or have vending machines. This hotel has a water dispenser at the lobby and we didn't have to worry about managing our drinking water. They have ice vending machines at different floors as well. ========= ...HALF block away from Powell Street 🚠 (trust me, you will be using them quite often) .. Surrounded by multiple bus stops (nearest is 3 mins walk) ...3 block away from Union Square ...6/7 min walk from Chinatown ⛩️ Extremely safe at night and has a pizza outlet just outside which stays open very late.

Can't think of any but then while traveling we usually don't have lofty expectations. The hotel was adequate in terms of cleanliness,comfort, breakfast and location. Wifi connection could have been better
