Hidden gem set in a beautiful area between vineyards and mountains, just a 30 minute drive from Kutaisi. The rooms, even though very new, have a lovely vintage character and are extremely comfortable (great bed, beautiful bathroom with a spa feel to it). The staff, including the receptionist and waitress (Nia) were genuinely kind and helpful (not a given in Georgia). Our only regret is not having staid longer. Definitely worth to stay here a few nights if you are around Kutaisi by car.

The hotel could be more pro-active in informing guests about activities around the hotel, including their winery. We would have liked to visit, but it was unclear if the winery is open for public and if the hotel organizes visits. The restaurant is a bit canteen-like, could be made cozier.

We booked this hotel as a treat to the end of our month stay in Georgia. It cost approximately 3 times what we paid in other places, but we read such good reviews about the hospitality of the hotel that we thought it was worth it. Our room was a lovely large room, with a fireplace and a modern bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was over looked by the 3 story new build, which spoiled the view. It is a shame that the new build is not in keeping with the old Georgian architecture of the rest of the site. On the ground floor there is a sterile dining room, where the waiters seemed to be unable to make a coffee (instant coffee only available) or deliver breakfast on time or get our bill correct - let alone give us a tour of the winery or show us how to make bread (which other reviewers described). The dinner was nice, usual Georgian menu, wine was fine, but expensive, 60 gel for 5 tasting glasses of wine (no wine menu or prices seemed to be available). Based on the reviews we went in with very high expectations of the property, which probably meant we were slightly disappointed with the new developments and lack of hospitality/training of the staff. We did have a lovely stay, but be cautious of the review more than 2 months old as they don’t reflect the current experience of the site. Only wished we visited this place a couple of months earlier !

It is a family-run hotel with a big yard and a garden right by the river. Impeccable design and decor, high quality materials, great food and wine, views, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (and the shower that did not leak! a major bonus for Georgia); peace and quiet, birds singing in the morning.. When they learned it was my birthday, they organised a special surprise. Cool.

A chair or two in the room would've been helpful. But the main building is newly opened, hopefully they plan to add them soon. The food in the restaurant is pricey (though delicious!).

Room was in a traditional old Georgian house. All in wood (including the shower plate!), very suggestive and very comfortable. A place where to stay a week, and read Checov, drink wine, and have a lovely time with your spouse / partner. Silent, quiet, and beautiful.

Wi-fi had a very poor reception, and we were given the password only the morning after arriving. Not their fault-fault, we didn't ask, but there was no indication in the room. And still, even with password on, connection was very poor. Breakfast was overpriced.

Excellent little boutique winery, with fabulous staff including a few who spoke great English which helped. The wine is super yummy and awesome food both dinner and breakfast. Very welcoming to families with little kids, who adored the puppy labradors. What a charming place. New modern and amazing bed. We really appreciated the dedication of Armaz and his insight into the wine, place and general tourist advice, a sincere young man who helps make Sazano Winery great .

Not a bad thing to say!

That's a very interesting place, we stayed in an old wooden traditional house located on a traditional wine yard, there is a restaurant, but food selection is limited by local dishes. You can also taste wine, I really like Otskhanuiri Sapere we have tasted. Overall, interesting and unusual place to stay on a way from Tbilisi to Batumi.

Personally nothing, however my friend wasn't happy with limited furniture in his room, e.g. there was no sofa in his room like in my room.

A lovely island of comfort in the Imereti countryside. Traditional atmosphere and modern comfort. Our suite had a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff respond to special requests whenever possible.

The wine tasting is somewhat overpriced for the quality/ number of samples offered.

It’s a great modern place in the countryside. You can hear the frogs and see fireflies. Staff is truly welcoming, they very kind and showed us the small museum, the cellar and the oldest building with renovated rooms. Food is really fresh, prepared at the moment and herbs are collected from their garden. It’s a paradise!

A remarkable place, beautifully made rooms with lots of ancient reclaimed wood turned into furniture and wall cladding. Super comfy beds. Nice dinner and breakfast, own wines excellent (at least the one we tried). Manager speaks excellent English, uncomplicated arrival.

For Georgia the prices are really stiff. In this price range, a table or desk with chair in the room would be a good upgrade, perhaps also a small minibar fridge (which we found in many cheaper accommodations). There is a building site next doors which seems to become a new hotel wing. This might change the charme levels.

This is one of the best places we have stayed on our Georgia trip - a spacious room with enormous most comfortable bed, a great restaurant for dinner and breakfast, delicious wine made on-site and gorgeous indoor pool. And the staff are the best! Great value. Highly recommend!
