The location was perfect for me as my friend I come to see lives close by and it makes a good base for going out. It is easily accessible from the M40. I was extremely pleased with the nightly rate for the room.

Only an observation....... As the room did not have a chair due to the available space, the only place to sit was on the available side of the bed and this had resulted in the mattress being slightly lower on that side, rotating the mattress would help prevent this happening.

Was attending the One World football tournament at Coventry University, booked Dakotata for the entire family of five, We later decided to change the single room for our 15 year old boy to a double room and to our suprise the owner of the place decided to switch at no cost at all. The place was clean as well and has a takeaway just on the side of the hotel which made life easy. Will highly recommend The Dakota to anything, anytime.

The cleanliness of the place

Spot on for a wedding in Bangor Castle and not far to harbour or town. Exceptional decoration - very tasteful, clean and interesting. Also access to kitchen / diner with supplied coffee machine was a great addition.

Seen Mentioned in other reviews but single toilet roll for 3 days - shop or ration ! Also front door was always unlocked as per previous reviews and all bedrooms had same door code. No problems but worth bearing in mind for peace of mind.

Brilliant value for money - budget but clean and comfortable. Super easy self-check in and very clear instructions. Appreciated dinner plates and cutlery available in foyer - nice touch as I’d brought my own dinner!

Shower was a bit tricky to find the right temperature. Bed could’ve been firmer but appreciate this is personal preference. These are really minor things and for the price I was super-happy!

For us it was a perfect stay. We booked because of location-we were at an event at nearby Stoneleigh, and price. The reality was a place that exceeded our expectations. The whole place, including our room, was spotlessly clean, freshly decorated with basic but adequate furnishings and fitments. The bedding was clean and fresh and bed comfortable. There are no staff on site and no breakfast provided, but this suited us. The price is very fair.

Nothing really. Shower room is small, but that was stated in details--but again was adequately equipped and spotlessly clean.

best thing for me is the location, plus nice and comfy and quite place, really loved it will stay again.

All good, but i would expect to the code of door and room and how to open room upfront like before arrival . rather than wait and make calls to get the codes. And one suggestion , if this place get electric charge for cars, then would be awesome they increase the sale. but really to stay again .

i like the ease of checking in, and SMS an effective means of communication. The detailed instructions ensured i had no questions and a reference point should i forgot. the room was as described so there were no surprises. It was clean on arrival and cleaned daily.

i didn't like that i rec'd no communication after checking out. It would have been great to rec a text message stating everything was satisfactory. I say this because there is no face to face interaction on arrival or departure. When i arrived i got detailed instructions. once the room is checked a thank you for staying or emoji would bring peace of mine.

I stayed for one night whilst metal detecting for a couple of days in Rugby. The room I was allocated was excellent and met all my needs, it was spotlessly clean and well supplied with toiletries. There is a local pub, the oak, where you can get a nice pint and great food. I would definitely use the Dakota again when I am down in the Midlands detecting, highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike, it does what it says on the box, excellent. If you are travelling and need somewhere to stay reasonably priced, with good parking, this is the place for you.

Everything was new...... and sparkling clean. Care had been taken to ensure that all areas were sanitised after each guest which I appreciated. The bed was so comfy and the TV worked easily with the new remote control. The biscuits were welcome together with the tea and coffee making facilities. Car park was large with plenty of room even though it was obvious that contractors were also staying with their large vans. Everything was fabulous. Thank you

Good size room. very clean, plenty towels provided, beds made up and room cleaned each morning, refreshment provided e.g tea, coffee, milk and sugar plus bottled water, the room had comfortable beds. TV and free WIFI, Oak and Arms pub 5 minutes walk away, Lovely food, Chinese take away next door. Wood say again.

There was no local shops near by, as the local store which was located over the road opposite the property had closed down.
