We had an amazing stay, the location is very hard to beat right in Canmore! It was a perfect base for exploring both the Rockies and the Kananaskis. The pool was a lovely bonus especially the views out to the mountains and great to come back to after a day exploring! The fire pit area was shut off for a lot of our stay due to private functions (lots of weddings, which is expected at a luxury hotel through summer!) but we didn’t feel we missed out as we could sit out at the pool, terrace bar or on our balcony. Nice restaurant and coffee shop on site. Secure underground parking included in the price was a bonus too as we had to pay extra for that in some hotels on our trip. It isn’t cheap but we felt we got value for money compared to other hotels around the national parks.

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tubs were a perfect temperature. All the various Christmas trees in the hotel were a nice touch and the Christmas movie room was a special addition for the holiday season. The staff were excellent and the location was perfect. Best view of any hotel in the town.

The price of the hotel was a little exorbitant. Including a mandatory resort tax to a hotel invoice is just another way to add more cost to a guest's final bill. It's not a resort, it's a hotel.

The area is incredible. You can go on short walks around the hotels, whilst walking along the river and we loved that. The swimming pool + jacuzzi are incredible, and we definitely made the most of them whilst staying at the Malcolm. The rooms are nice, and the bathrooms too. Overall a really nice experience but maybe a little expensive for what it is.

The restaurant attached to the hotel had really nice staff but the food was really quite expensive for what it was and you can find much nicer and cheaper places to eat in Canmore in my opinion. Bare in mind as well that the hotel being quite expensive, the crowds you'll see there can sometimes be a little too entitled to our taste. On our first night there, we we playing pool and were literally just next to a gigantic bunch of extremely loud Karens celebrating what seemed to be a birthday and who mistook me as someone from the staff (was I too young to be able to afford staying in the Malcolm?). Don't get me wrong, we also did meet extremely nice guests, but overall, the vast majority of them are a little entitled.

Amazing mountain view room on the top floor. Facilities are overall excellent. Beautiful neighborhood and nice location. Convenient indoor parking.

- The refundable price was much higher than non-refundable price, so we booked the non-refundable, but we wish to have more flexibilities with the trip and if we have a choice we will book similar hotel with a flexible cancellation. - Staff in general don't fit the standard of the hotel, not very welcoming and the front desk had a hard time to comprehend our requests. - Restaurant especially the breakfast is overpriced. $35 for a buffet is on the higher end all over Canada and there aren't that many choices.

We had a wonderful stay for my Mom's 80th birthday, and were very pleased with how well we were taken care of!! Every staff member was helpful & quick to service us! The atmosphere and restaurant were excellent as well! I'd love to bring my husband back!

The only thing my Mother complained about was the fact that there was no fitted sheet on the bed (SO comfortable and a great sleep though!) And the windows were dirty, I actually have a picture of her cleaning them, but did not want to send it. She wanted to see her view of the mountains! Thank you for a terrific stay!

It was the perfect stay, with gorgeous mountains and creek views. Our stay was very comfortable and cozy. We loved enjoying the jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and walking in the beautiful surroundings. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They also arranged a birthday cake for us when requested. Would definitely recommend it to everyone and would love to come again!

Well-located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Canmore, which is a great alternative to Banff (fewer restaurants etc, but quieter and surrounded by even better scenery). Great bar with sport screens and restaurant. Go for a room with balcony if you can - though the basic rooms are pricey enough!

There was no laundry service provided by the hotel, but we were able to use the service wash ($25 for overnight) at the excellent Canmore Sunshine Laundrette. They notified me they would take payment in full at some point in the six months till arrival day but took it almost immediately!

The location was great and the whole stay was very pleasant. After paying for parking every night in Banff, having a free parking here was a big plus. The food in the restaurant was very good!

We upgraded the room to the mountain view but didn't see any mountains. Checked in when it was dark, left early morning on a tour and came back when it was dark again. Shouldn't spent more money for the view... Also, we could hear kids screaming outside while playing at the pool late in the evening.

Fantastic location surrounded by mountains and river. Free underground parking, easy stroll to the village but there were also shops pub and restaurants on the same street and in hotel. Rooftop swimming pool and hot tubs were to die for esp as sun went down. Walks in all directions. Mezzanine floor with giant Scrabble, pool table. Room was double queen on 4th floor perfect.defonately return as soon as we can

Great Location. Super views Quick and efficient check in. Lovely room with pool and mountain views. Spacious and super well equipped. Large fridge with spacious tea/coffee making area. Nice walk in shower with the most beautiful fluffy white bath sheets. Premium Toiletries. Very comfortable beds and mixed firmness pillows. Loads of storage space and free to use safe. Well deserved of the high rating scores. Must mention the two receptionist who were the most friendliest, helpful and super efficient, Pearl and Rose, a credit to the hotel!
