The hotel room in general was very clean, bed comfortable as well as a fully functional shower and came with bathroom supplies. Location not too bad, around 30 minute walk (less than if you go for it faster) to the core of the city close to the attractions (Votivkirche, Rathausplatz, Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Karlskirche etc.) The people there also very down to earth I must say.

The room was very hot, which made sleeping sometimes difficult. (Even when I took my own portable fan).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel City Residence in Vienna, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the exceptional staff. First and foremost, I must commend the manager of the hotel, Madam Shams. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly set the standard for excellence. She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. The staff as a whole were remarkable - friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist with any request. Their dedication to providing top-notch service was evident throughout my entire stay. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were immaculate, and the common areas were consistently well-maintained. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Moreover, the location of the hotel couldn’t be better. Situated in the heart of Vienna, it offers easy access to all the city’s attractions and amenities. And the best part? The price you pay for such exceptional quality and convenience is incredibly reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, my experience at Hotel City Residence was nothing short of exceptional. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Vienna. Before choosing this hotel, I read some reviews and saw a lot of dissatisfied people. The hotel is a 3-star one. Those with overly high expectations have no business staying here. From my point of view, the hotel met those 3 stars: it was clean, quiet in the room, even though my windows faced the road and the metro station.

Unfortunately, the room didn’t have air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. We didn’t receive hand towels, only bath towels.

The room was quite big and the en-suite was spacious. There were two double beds in the room, and the mattress was comfortable, It was a good experience for a night only

the room was too noisy, there were road works at night and could hear the noise throughout the night, the window could not be closed properly and hence the noise, luckily I was too tired to be bothered

Amazing hotel very comfortable and clean room - just in-front of metro station and tram as well which makes the location very convenient. Shams the lady in the reception was so welcoming and helpful she was amazing. Will definitely stay there again.

The room and bathroom were clean. We could make tea in the room, and there was a TV (but there were no wanted channels). Not much space, but enough for two people. The hotel is very close to public transport stations.

The bed mattress's surface in some places was a bit lower and in others a bit higher, so it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on it. Also, I tried to use the TV, but it had only a few channels, so I couldn't find anything I wanted.

It is in a very good location, right at a subway station and walking distance form downtown, lots of restaurants, shops and facilities within a short walk. Staff is very nice, seemed like a family business.

Rooms are clean but pretty old fashioned, most furniture and curtains unintentionally retro, the view from the room in to the busy Gurtel, so opening the window really increases the noise.

The location is great, as the hotel is by a metro station and in walking distance from key sights. The room was very clean and we were offered clean towels on a daily basis. Also the beds were very convenient.

Although we booked a room we two single beds, upon our arrival we realised that the beds were adjacent with a single sheet. The beds were not separated as we asked; that wasn't much of a problem for us though. Also the lamp on the bedside table didn't work.

Super!! special staff, friendly, helpful, they gave us important tips how to go to many tourists points in the city. The Hotel is very well located and close to the metro , tram and bus station. The ratio money x staying, for us, was the best. we’ve had in our travel in Europe. If one’s travel proposal is to travel with no luxuries but reasonable confort I’d strongly suggest this three stars modest, but warning Hotel to stay.

It is not a first time I am using this Hotel. It is very suitable for my travels. First of all I like Viener U-bahn. Thr Hotel is located in 3 min from U-bahn station. Connection with places I like on Vienna are situated in 15 min from the place

I have only positive emotions from my visit to the Hotel as Hotel's stфff is so friendly and kind that it covers all probable limitations.
