Perfect Location, at the southern edge of the Fira Caldera Hotels. No hotels above or below you, therefore more private and quiet, yet just minutes easy walk to the wide walkway viewpoint of the caldera, but not necessary as you can view the sunset right from your own balcony, patio or pool deck areas. 10 minute walk to the bus station. A mild short+ incline from the main street to the freestanding hotel, so no maze, nor stairs up or down to get to your hotel, and no zigzagging up/down stairs to get to your room or the pool, unless you get a room on the 2nd or 3rd story, but would be more like typical stairs for a townhome and not like many of the caldera hotels set into the side of the cliffs. This hotel has the most fabulous views of the Caldera and volcanic islands. Pool with sun beds right outside our room, our terrace had table and chairs. Our choice of breakfast was delivered to our room at the selected time. Although it has cliffside views, the hotel is located just on the edge of town so a taxi can deliver you to the door.

A perfect location to explore Fira. The view was amazing from our room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in our room. Delicious!

(+) Location: Right at the edge of the town, next to a quiet park. Easy to go in & out if you have a vehicle. Away from the hustle of the city, yet with everything within walking distance. (+) View: Just breathtaking views from all parts of the acommodation. Full sunset view all year round, and unobstructed caldera views which leave you in awe. (+) Service: Exceptional breakfast, served at the room, with fresh ingredients. The hosts are very helpful & provide us with anything we need. (+) Bed: By far the most comfortable bed I slept on in an accomodation.

(-) Toilet: It is a pity but the toilet facilities in our room are in need of immediate renovation. Slow ineffective flushing, cramped washroom, and decoration which takes you back a few decades. That is the reason I am not giving a full 10. You could make this the perfect hotel if only you upgraded your toilet facilities.

Everything was great! But the best thing about these apartments is the staff! In previous reviews, others have already written about Eneida, in fact, her responsiveness and help exceeded our expectations. She was helpful in all matters. Special thanks for the congratulations and surprise for my sister, who had a birthday! We really liked the apartments, the view from the window and terrace is truly amazing. Very quiet. The location is really great! Nearby there is a supermarket, a pharmacy and most importantly - a bus station. It is very convenient to travel around the island. Comfortable sunbeds by the pool. There are towels for the pool. The pool changes colors beautifully in the evening, which allows you to take wonderful photos with a view of the caldera and Thira. Breakfast has also already been written about in reviews: a lot of delicious and fresh food, much more than in other apartments. Special thanks for the fruit plates! Please note that there is a kettle in the apartment, although this was not indicated in the description. It was a pleasure for us. Cleaning is excellent! Thank you for everything!

It's not that important, but the refrigerator is quite noisy, so sleeping on a single bed is not so comfortable.

Friendly staff and very accommodating. Helped us find our way to the hotel, we were also allowed an early check in and we were very priveleged to receive an upgrade to our suite. It was immaculate. Breakfast was fabulous and brought to our suite. The views from 1 of our balconies of the caldera were breathtaking the other balcony caught the early morning sunshine which was perfect for breakfast. A real hidden gem. We loved our stay thankyou so much to all the staff ❤️

Absolutely beautiful. Me and my husband came here for my birthday and what can I say. We have left leaving with the thought if we ever booked again we will not book any other hotel but this. The views are stunning. Peaceful and calm. Watching the caldera view and sunset! The staff is excellent. The pool.was amazing with that view which is beautiful and exactly like the picture. Breakfast served every day at a time.you want with a delicious menu you can choose from watching the view.over the balcony is something.else. What can I say. Everything was perfect. The bus station is 4mins away as well as supermarkets. Shops. Places to.eat. and also pharmacy. We had a splendid time.and want to thank everyone who made this a wonderful.experience for us. All the staff at last sunbeam and especially Eneida. She was just a lovely.person and a great host. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at The Last Sunbeam. We stayed there 2 nights and I strongly recommend this place. We rented a room which had private balcony and caldera view. Beautiful. The room itself is simple but it’s ok. Location was perfect. Walking distance to the center of Fira and also to the bus station. The hotel has a swimming pool with an amazing view too. The sunset is beautiful from there. The staff was great. Special thanks to Eneida who was really kind and helpful. Last day it was my boyfriends birthday and she managed to buy a cake with candle for breakfast and didn’t want to charge us anything. Thank you! I hope we can come back soon.

Eneida at the front desk was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Texted us morning arrival to check whether we needed hotel transfer from airport. Allowed us to store luggage after check out to allow us to enjoy our catamaran cruise. She also provided helpful hints regarding restaurants. The views were spectacular and eating breakfast with the view in the morning was breathtaking. Only draw back was hearing speaker system of cruise ship down below in the bay.

The view of Caldera is one of the most that I like. Imagine that you have breakfast at the balcony everyday with that view, it is really amazing. Bus stop, pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurant and Fira square are close to the hotel. And since the hotel is located almost the border of Fira dowmtown, it is very private, no trespassing. Staff are very friendly and supportive. The room is quite spacious and clean. Room cleaning service is available. Internet works perfectly. The pool though a bit small but enjoyable.
