Casa Santa Rosa is located about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Antigua - where the famous arch, Arco de Santa Catalina is located. We had room 2 Azalea which was very spacious and perfect for our 5 day stay. The internal courtyard and gardens are beautiful to look out on or sit in and the staff were all very friendly and helpful with information and assistance. I needed first aid for an injury one day and the female staff member was wonderful in assisting me. We always felt safe walking to and from the Casa at any time of day or night. It was also very convenient for Uber pickups and drop offs.

There were only two options for breakfast. It would be great if they added some additional simple options such as fresh fruit and yoghurt or muesli/granola. The room's lounge chairs were alright but for longer stays like ours, the room could be improved by more comfortable lounge chairs.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet property. Our room was large and in excellent condition. The staff was always friendly, professional and helpful. The turned on the fountain in the seating area near our room for each breakfast and happy hour. The tours we booked with their help were wonderful. We stayed a week and wish we had more time there. We’ll definitely stay here when we return.

It’s absolutely beautiful. You feel like you’re living in a garden with beautiful rooms in the middle of it. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. We ate outside. the room was so comfortable and the bedding and the towels everything was exactly what you would want and more

Honestly, there was nothing. I didn’t love about this place. Someone else might not have wanted it to be so quiet, but it was very relaxing .

The hotel is beautiful, the room extremely comfortable, and the hotel staff is amazing and go out of their way to accommodate you (thank you Estiben)! The location was great, just outside the central area, so avoiding all of the noise while still being close enough to enjoy the main attractions of Antigua. Our room had a jacuzzi tub that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking around the city. Oh, and their traditional breakfast is delicious!

Esteban was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He was available to accommodate our questions and requests during our stay. The size of the property made it easy to meet other guests without feeling intrusive. We met several nice people that shared places to visit and where to eat. It was very helpful and made our stay in Antigua so much better.

The location of our room lacked privacy and would have liked something more private. At night we could hear the music coming from a nearby property/nightclub but only when we were in the bathroom. It didn't affect our sleeping.

Great location, near restaurants and most helpful/ friendly staff, specially Esteven and Fabiola. Beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Everything about the hotel is exceptional, provides great hospitality. Hotel and room was clean, cozy and well equipped. Breakfast is delicious and service was very attentive. We hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The only inconvenience was that we had trouble at night with water in the bathroom. Other than that everything was amazing.

I almost don't want to write this because this hotel is Antigua's best kept secret. I've been to a lot of hotels in Antigua, and Casa Santa Rosa Hotel Boutique is the best. Finding the hotel was easy, there was parking, staff were extremely friendly and on top of things. The room was large, extremely clean and check in and check out was quick. The gardens were peaceful and it was walking distance from the center. I'm going to have to find excuses to come to Antigua just to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The tipico breakfast was good but with just a few extra touches it could have been better. The service , however, was excellent.

The staff are the kindest, most lovely people. The hotel is a beautiful courtyard filled with lush plants and beautiful, antique furniture. Every morning you eat breakfast in a beautiful outdoor patio, surrounded by wild orchids and listening to soft jazz that plays over the speakers with the tropical birds chatting inn the background. It is incredibly quiet there, day and night. So peaceful. The breakfast is wonderful. Great coffee. The rooms are large. The staff so helpful. It's easy to walk everywhere. Very safe. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and accommodating and the property is so lovely! A peaceful place to rest and enjoy. My boyfriend and I loved how small the hotel is- we felt attended to and had tons of privacy. Everything was perfectly maintained and exactly what we were looking for.

Next time we'll book a room with more natural light- a common issue with colonial hotels we find is not enough natural light. The room was very spacious though, so this helped!

Very comfortable beds, huge suites, good wifi. Good desyuno tipico, good location, very safe and private. The staff members are wonderful! They take a sincere, personal sort of interest in you. Edgar, Steven -- the best! They know all the best restaurants and more. You feel like your staying at friends home in Antigua. Even the housekeeping staff could not be nicer! Simple elegance in a lovely garden setting. We stayed four nights over Christmas

Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.
