Amazing location. I was a bit worried before arriving because of some bad reviews on some sites, but the hotel has new management and everything is just fine. Reception is there 24/7 to help out.

WiFi is still being worked on. But I could connect to LinkNYC Free from the hotel room.

What I liked the most about the room was, without a doubt, the location. It is very central, close to everything and anything else of interest, and just about 200 meters from Times Square. I also appreciated the fact that the room was quite spacious, and the reception staff were very friendly and attentive.

What I didn’t like, without a doubt, was the soundproofing of the rooms. You could hear everything at all hours, mainly during the night. I also didn’t like the fact that there was no elevator to access the room floors. Lastly, there is a $2 fee per bag or piece of luggage you wish to store after checkout.

Excellent location, walking distance proximity to many attractions. The room is small and simple but, in essence, quite functional. You get exactly what you are told at the time of booking and what you pay for.

An elevator would really help -even though this issue is clearly highlighted at the time of booking. Still ....

We loved the location, it was just three blocks away from Times Square, and very near some interesting places like All Antico Vinaggio that is a viral and must-try Italian Focaccia's spot. Bedrooms are worth the price cause it's really a place to spend the night. The stairs "problem" is just a minor issue when you are walking a bazillion miles daily in NYC.

Room cleaning could improve, it was clean at arrival but the sheets had some suspicious stains, you have to request for the cleaning service but they don't chance sheets! so that was the only issue, if I return it'll be with my own sheets haha.

Excellent location very well located for visiting the main sites and near subway and bus station. Large choice of restaurants and takeaways close by. Overall location was absolutely brilliant for the price paid. Security deposit returned few hours after check out and no additional charges as was reported by other reviews. Luggage storage 2 dollars handy to have mini fridge in room which was handy to have WiFi password didn't work however we asked again and got a list of WiFi passwords and one worked so we had WiFi in the end.

Bed sheets weren't clean enough shower doors bit loose so have to be careful. The beds were comfortable but you have to be careful getting onto the top bunk of the double bed. 1st receptionist wasn't particularly friendly but the other receptionist was very nice

Room was small. And I mean SMALL! But we were only staying one night for a Broadway show so it was ok.

Location was excellent - easy walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit in NYC. We felt safe and comfortable at this venue. While it was small, I liked the hole-in-the-wall vibe as we weren't visiting the city for the hotel, so we were only there to rest our heads.

The four flights of stairs with a suitcase was rough, but not the end of the world. I would have loved for more bottled water to be available in the vending machines (they were out of stock every time we checked). The sliding door on the bathroom not staying in place was entertaining more than anything else.

Location. The best part do the hotel is the location. It’s just a few minutes walk from Times Square and many bars, restaurants and shops etc. Bed was clean and comfortable. Our room was on 2nd floor at the back so it was pretty quiet.

Rooms are extremely small, there was no space to open our luggages, or two people would struggle to walk pass each other due to lack of space. Our bed only had access from one side. The other 3 sides were the actual walls of the room. We also didn’t like the shower as the whole bathroom gets wet when in use. We asked for early check in, they asked for $50 which we rejected. Unfortunately we were there during the busy week of United Nations assembly in NY. After paying over $300 a night we were disappointed for being charged $2 per suitcase to store for few hours after check out, before our flight.

The location was great and the staff who helped with our suitcases were very keen to help. It was great value for New York. Even though the room was tiny, we had everything we needed. A great room if you're touring all day. The hotel looked after our luggage after checking out at a cost of $2 a bag - this helped us a lot.

The staff behind the desk at both shifts were quite unfriendly and more interested in what was happening on their phones. There are 5 or 6 stories to this building with no lift. It wasn't a problem for us, but it may be for some - something to keep in mind.

This hotel has all the things that you really need. The rooms are clean and the water is hot and the cost is (relatively speaking) reasonable. The staff was friendly. You just have to go into it understanding the frills that are not there (no fancy lobby, no elevator, no in room coffee, a very compact room). We'd stay here again.

The noise from other guests can be heard -- this isn’t a quiet place. Wish the pillows were better.
