The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice with hot food eggs, potatoes, sausage, toaster, cold meats and cheese, cereal, milk, yogurt, pancakes and many more things. The location was perfect. Bed very comfortable. Shower wonderful. Nearest metro is dragons bridge. Although English is rare everything is in Bulgarian. Uber is banned in Bulgaria but we found an app called taxi me and used this several times it's was very cheap. A taxi from vitosha boulevard to the hotel was 5-6 lev and from the hotel to the airport was 21 lev. Tram stopped right outside too. Cost1.60.you can pay with cash but you have to knock on the door to get the drivers attention and pay. You then have to validate your ticket. The food was lovely we found a great restaurant one night with live music, pizza, chips and cheese, two large vodka and cokes and chocolate cake all for 40 Lev each. Very good. We went to the museum of illusions and it was such fun and good photo opportunities. 19 Lev entrance and they have lockers where you can leave your coats and bags. The airport to the centre is very easy in terms of finding the train. It's just 1.60 Lev but be warned nothing is in English. Luckily someone showed us on the tube map serdika which is the centre and not far from vitosha boulevard. We got off there had a walk around at night it was lovely with fairy lights on we then got a taxi to the hotel for 6 lev. Very reasonable.

Difficult to regulate the temperature in the room so we found it hard to sleep as the room was too hot. The room we booked included free spa access. However there is no spa it's just a sauna and you have to tell reception and hour before you use it. Sofia itself was lovely. However most of the people did not want to engage and were unfriendly. Even if you smiled at someone they didn't smile back. Tourists were very minimal and we went to one restaurant and as soon as the man heard us speak English he said there was a problem and they were closed. I personally wouldn't visit Bulgaria again as apart from at the hotel where the staff were lovely every other person we came into contact with was rude. I appreciate it may be the difference between our cultures but I didn't like it.

The location is great, you can easily get everywhere using the public transport, a bus and tram stop right in front of the hotel, and a metro station 8 minutes away. The room was very nice, comfortable bed,2 pillows per person (2 were very big pillows which I liked) the towels get changed everyday. The breakfast was very good, everything you could want and the coffee was okish. The room was very warm (a bit too much for us, we felt the need to open the window a lot. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating off in the room and the thermostat in the bathroom was busted so it went on non stop). And since we spent the New Year’s Eve there we got complementary Prosecco, a very nice touch in our opinion. Also the underground parking is a very good idea since you can’t really find good parking spaces around (the cost is 20 leva per day) and you don’t have any worries (the elevator is not very big so check with them beforehand to make sure your car will fit).

The only thing we felt was missing were slippers.I was expecting to find them in a 4 stars hotel. So you better have some disposable slippers with you if you need them.

Excellent beds, one of the best I've experienced in a hotel. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Clean and luxury rooms. I've stayed in many different hotels in Sofia the past years, this one is absolutely value for money!

Location. At daytime walking between the metro stop and hotel didn't feel safe, so we didn't try this at night. BUT - trams are stopping right in front of the hotel, or even better, use a taxi. We used the TaxiMe app, similar like uber, worked perfect and extremely cheap (Airport <> hotel +/- 11 euro). Location is certainly not a showstopper for us, if we come back again we will stay here again!

I had an excellent stay, Staff where very friendly to me, Aleksandar is such a friendly & great person he has excellent customer service and communication skills he made my stay extra special, it was great to stay again and to experience the excellence of this new hotel, it was millions time better then my previous stay here, I will book again when I’m back in Sofia next year

Although I’m rating a 10 there was a problem with the Air conditioning, it only blew out cold air despite showing “Heat on” also I’d recommend having more then 2 hair dryers in the hotel, it’s not ideal only having 2 among 30 rooms

well I was told that coffee is not included in breakfast which doesn’t make any sense, when I went in and out of the hotel the guests that where in the hotel kept asking who I was, these guests are relatives of the owners and I was the 1st actually paying guest, they couldn’t mind there own business so there for it was quite unpleasant and I did not feel welcome at all, it’s such a shame for a brand new hotel, it’s the reason I didn’t rate it a 10 which I really wanted to do

Everything was great: super warm and comfy room, great shower with good pressure and the staff were very professional and friendly. Kudos to your receptionist Aleksander Shoylev who was very helpful, professional and attentive!

It was my first experience to visit Bulgaria, I think I was very lucky in choosing a hotel that is totally worth it and is considered the best in comparison of the same price, the breakfast was very good and varied, the entire staff is professional and nice to deal with, everyone treated me with respect and help, and I think they make a good impression on the residents of this region, all Services close to the hotel. The supermarket is 50 meters away, and restaurants are close to 200 meters as a maximum, and next to the most famous shopping street, the Women’s Market. As for safety, the hotel is located in the best streets in the city, and all tourist places are close by, at a distance of 5-10 minutes on foot. I had a lot of fun choosing this hotel and I highly recommend it

The Abrazo Sofia Hotel, located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, left a wonderful impression on us. Situated just 1 kilometer from the train station and 6 kilometers from the airport, this 4-star hotel offers many advantages. The hotel's interior is incredibly beautiful, designed in dark tones that give it an elegant and luxurious appearance. The hotel provides a 24-hour reception, room service, and free Wi-Fi. There is also a fitness room and a restaurant on the premises. If you arrive by car, the hotel offers private, secure parking in a garage for an additional fee. It is recommended to book the parking in advance, as leaving your car on the street is not very safe due to the proximity of the main road. The hotel offers various rooms, all of which include breakfast served as a buffet. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of fresh products: fruits, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bread, yogurts, sweets, and much more. There are also hot and cold beverages, including very delicious coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked the best room with a hydromassage bathtub for four days. The room, measuring 19 sq.m, features panoramic windows, a large double bed, a desk with a big TV, a minibar, a small fridge, a seating area with a sofa, armchair, and table, a wardrobe with extra blankets, robes, hangers, storage space, and a safe. The room also includes a bathroom with a toilet and shower, free shampoos and body gels, and a hairdryer. There is a separate room with a hydromassage bathtub that opens onto two balconies: one with a city view and the other with a garden view, both equipped with chairs and tables. Surrounding the hotel are cafes and shops, and just 400 meters away is the Women’s Market, where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, and much more. The hotel is simply wonderful. It was so good that we didn't even want to leave.

Everything was amazing.

the Abrazo was a very good hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very nice and courteous - especially the front desk staff during checkin and checkout. We had a very quiet room, especially since the hotel was located on a busy street. The breakfasts were superb with lots of fresh items to choose from. Another bonus for the hotel is that there was a tram stop right in front of the hotel which made our trip back to the Sofia Central bus/train station very easy.

The area was a bit too busy and if you go off to one side of the hotel the neighborhood gets very sketchy which made us think twice about walking through there at night. We took public transportation during our visit and only had to walk through there during the day.

The room was very nice, clean and had very modern amenities, such as a very nice shower with good waterpressure, a heated mirror and a big Smart-TV. There was ample room to store some of our things, and the bed was very comfortable. In some other reviews the breakfast was criticized, but to me it was perfectly fine, especially considering it isn't a very big Hotel, so they can't have a huge buffet either. But they had multiple sweet and savory options, fresh vegetables and fruit, muesli, and the coffee was complementary. Overall I didn't really have anything to complain about.

The location isn't super central, but once you've figured out the tram system in Sofia you can get anywhere quickly as 4 lines stop right in front of the door. And the blackout curtains couldn't cover all the windows in our room. Didn't really bother us, but if you travel in the summertime and you need it to be dark to sleep, you might need to bring a sleeping mask.
