Bed was comfortable, staff friendly (only day staff). This is a ‘do it yourself’ hotel which is the new trend.

Rooms so small couldn’t move. Location was a bit busy for drop off.

easy check in, great location, quiet even though we were on a busy street, good blinds that kept out light, good aircon, good sized bathroom, loved the rooftop. great value for money

I liked the location near the subway station (easy to go anywhere with F-line). It was easy to check-in and out the hotel. The views from rooftop were very nice. The Whole Foods Market was close. The capsule-coffee machine at the lobby was nice to have and there were also maps and info of New York at the lobby. And hotel staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful for examble pre-ordering taxi at the airport for me, which I appreciated. I will absolutely recommend and stay here again when I’m staying in New York.

The hotel was modern and clean. My room was very small but had a trendy hardwood floor and contained all needed - a comfortable queen bed, a small table + chair, a slim closet with ironing board and a trezor. There was also a hairdryer and a coffee maker and a clean in suite bathroom. Further, a small kitchen was available to customers in the cellar - with a water cooler, ice machine and a toaster (no stove). The roof deck was pretty with chairs and tables.

I think the room service was not automatic, one woul have to request it. It was not possible to open a window or adjust the AC unit.

Great location! It was exactly as you would expect a boutique hotel to be in the city. Rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. Not a lot of space to move around but we didn’t plan to spend much time in the room other than to sleep. The king size bed was super comfortable. The view of the Empire State Building from the roof top deck was beautiful. You can’t beat the location. Russ and Daughters bagel shop was less than one block and Katz deli just beyond. Easy access to subway and a short walk to Chinatown and Little Italy. Overall, very satisfied with our stay. Great value for the price per night.

Only complaint is that booking.com listed that the property will hold luggage and that is incorrect. They might want to update this as the hotel said they haven’t offered this service for quite some time. They did however provide us with the contact information for a local service to use instead.

The rooftop

The metro station around the hotel don't have elevator. Rooms were very tight.

After reading bad reviews about how small and loud the rooms were I was scared. But luckily my partner and I got a corner room and it was quite big and good for a 2 week stay. Loved the fridge and microwave as well and the view out onto Elridge street. The location is excellent. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and like across the street from 2nd avenue subway. Check in was fairly seamless although communication with them was lack luster beforehand. It was easy to go downstairs to get more toiletries if needed. Also the front desk often had free snacks.

Bathtub wouldn't drain properly from day 1 and there was an extra cleaning fee.

Rooftop view is awesome, location is great

Couldn't complete check-in with the desk even though someone was there. And our room wasn't ready until 1.5 hrs after check-in
