Absolutely everything Size space and modernity

The fact that we were charged extortionate rates for a sofa bed that already existed and this was not mentioned as an extra fee on the website. Staff were completely inflexible and had zero interest in customer goodwill.

The luggage storage in the basement was very convenient as I arrived early in the morning. Location was great as I took the airport tram to the West End stop and walked 2 minutes to the hotel. Was able to hop back onto that tram to get to Waverly train station, also quite walkable to Princes St, and to the Convention Centre for my conference. Room was equipped with everything I needed for a week-long stay - kitchen, laundry, bathroom.

Room was cold, and since I was on the bottom floor on the corner of building, I could hear everyone as they walked past. I kept the curtains down to minimize the noise and cold air but it made the room quite dark, indoor lighting was insufficient. Bed was not very comfortable - sofa-bed like quality.

A fabulous apartment in a great location, just a short walk from Princes Street and all the main sights of the city. Situated in a quiet street, the apartment is spacious, spotless and really well equipped. The code access is a brilliant idea, allowing everyone to come and go without worrying about keys. We will definitely be back!

Clean with every facility you would need for a trip and stayed before. Clean and well presented. Staff are very responsive to requests and it was great being able to leave our luggage in the storage facility on our last day. Have stayed before but would defo make a request to stay on the upper floors. This would affect my decision to stay if it wasn’t available.

Hated being on the ground floor - it didn’t feel as safe and the windows didn’t tilt and turn so we couldn’t open them at night which we love. As a female I wasn’t as relaxed or comfortable as I would normally be and definitely impacted on my stay on this occasion.

Instructions and door code were easy to follow and use. Very clean. Very well situated in an area close to historic older city and castle. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by.

Had to keep blinds closed due to proximity to other apartments and office building only a few metres away. The restroom situated in the entrance hallway and behind a closed hallway door while an advantage at times is not in the middle of the night. Also, the thermostat controlling the room temperature is situated in the enclosed entrance hallway. That makes it a little more difficult to control the temperature in the room.

The location was excellent. Just beside the tram stop. 30 mins from the airport. Close to everything. We walked to a lot of attractions such as the Castle, Museum, National Gallery, Greyfriars Bobby and Greyfriars Kirkyard, Royal Mile, Calton Hill. Dean Village and Water of Leith walkway. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, etc. here right at the west end of Princes street.

If I had to change anything the TV could have been bigger. Just a bit far away from the bed, but not complaining as it wasn't that important

Spacious living area, comfortable (but compact) sleeping quarters. Having a full kitchen is a huge plus. Maintenance staff came out to address an alarm that was going off. Getting in to building and apt went smoothly. Having a place to store luggage safely was also a big plus.

More lighting needed, esp in living room. Wet stone stairs made me nervous for elderly travelers. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. It was hard to reach a human by phone. International calling instructions were unclear. Washer/dryer instructions don't match the appliance. This is an appliance problem, but having the manual would have helped. Clear instructions needed for running a dry only cycle.

Apartment was much bigger than expected! Everything, from coffee sachets to towels, was provided for us and it felt like a hotel stay. Very clean, comfortable and secure. Access to the apartment was incredibly easy with a code for the front gate and door provided before our arrival. Location was excellent - Edinburgh castle was visible from the end of the road and everything was within walking distance, including a Sainsbury’s Local. Also a 10 min walk from Haymarket train station and a 2 min walk to the nearest tram stop.

The TV was difficult to use and kept disconnecting from the internet so it took lots of attempts to get Netflix to work. It would have been nice for more tissues and toilet paper to be provided.

The apartment was perfect for a 3-night stay. It's in a great location, lovely and quiet but just a few minutes' walk from local cafes, restaurants and the start of Princes Street. We hadn't stayed in the West End before and we were surprised and pleased to see how much there is to do in that area. Haymarket station is also only a stroll away, which was handy for us as we took a day trip to Dundee and all the trains stopped there, so we didn't have to traipse down to Waverley. The apartment itself is spacious but cosy, comfortable and well-equipped. There's loads of storage and the bathroom is huge. There are big windows, so it's nice and bright when you have the blinds or curtains open. They do look across to other apartments or offices. But it is in a city centre, and unless you're standing right in front of the window, no one would be able to see what you're up to! The heating is very simple to operate - not always the case in holiday accommodation! I really like the no key entry - it's all key pads. No key to be carting around and worrying about losing! The communal areas were neat and tidy. We're definitely going to book the apartment again for a future visit.

There was nothing we didn't like. The apartment is just missing a handful of things that would be great: - somewhere to hang coats, either hooks or a coat stand - a non-slip mat in the shower, because the tray was a bit slippy - a towel rail by the shower - there's no obvious place to put your towel to easily grab it when you get out.

Vintage feel to this ground floor apartment with large timber beams and metal posts, as it is a converted warehouse. Well stocked kitchen, spacious apartment on ground floor. Close to public transport and a 20 mins walk to the old city as well as close to the new city of Edinburgh. Secure storage available downstairs for an early arrival was appreciated.

WiFi not very reliable, hard to use the internet connected smart-TV (may have been a technical issue). Guidebook left in apartment needs updating (ie. a local recommended restaurant seems to have closed down). Washer/dryer was convenient but hard to use without instructions.
