The location is very convenient and close to the Aldgate metro station. The apartment was essential, but clean and enough to plan your visit in London.
The apartment was not at the address you can find on Booking.com. Which is ok, but I see it can create confusion. There are stairs to go upstairs and the bathroom is not that spacious. If you have a mobility problem, contact the owner first!

A small but convenient place at a very reasonable price. The rooms aren't highly featured but are comfortable and the location is good for business in the City. The site is near the Tube line so there is low rumbling noise throughout the night; I find this relaxing and always sleep well here but your mileage may vary. I have stayed here 5-6 times and only once seen any staff - this is a self-service operation, which is fine by me but would not be suitable if you need support from staff.
Very basic facilities and uncomfortable chairs. The bathrooms in some rooms are hard to squeeze into.

Great location on the Western edges of Whitechapel, very close to the Aldgate East tube station. Very smooth access and flexibility with the arrival time. Comfortable bed. A small kitchen for guests on each floor with basic equipment, including a fridge, a microwave oven, powder coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and bottled water.
All in all it was what I expected, no major point of discontent to report. Earplugs are recommended, though, as in most similar places, doors are paper thin (but when I was there the place was quite calm). The single room is very small with limited space for luggage. This was perfectly fine for my 3-day stay, but it would not be suited for a much longer stay.

Referring to the place i stayed and not the one that is being promoted. Really quiet, although it was on a main road, clean and everything stated was included.
The morning of the first day of my booking, received a message from the owner that ill be staying in another room. It was 10 minutes away on foot from the one that i have already booked, but same distance from the metro station. Nothing important after all. As for the apartment, the bathroom was a bit small.

+ all facilities + very clean ( kitchen, common space and room as well) + helpful staff + quick check-in + comfortable bed + kitchen and good facilities + location is perfect + safety If I visit next time in London, I definitely stay here again.
- room was very hot - floor fan was not sufficient and myself could not find out the way to open the window. - little noise because of the train, train line is just after the hotel building. Train noise was not so laud.

The price was reasonable and the room was clean with everything provided, soap, shampoo, linen and good pillows. There was ample room for me to unpack and relax in that room as well as get changed and do some work with the small table provided. There was also a lot of plugs in the room so all my devices were fully charged by next morning and a TV if I wanted to watch it.
It was a little difficult to find as it's hidden in a small door on the side of a restaurant. Very disappointing that they don't provide an invoice despite being asked twice after my stay so I will not be using this again for business travel.

I didn't know what to expect seeing the low price and the photos that didn't reveal about the room, but I was pleasantly surprised! The host is very friendly, but not too attentive that it's awkward. The room was nice and clean, quite small but enough to get comfortable. There was no kettle in the room, but there was a kitchen right across the hall with the kettle and even some tea and biscuits free for the taking. I was also a bit worried about the noise from the tracks and such, but that didn't bother me at all. I am a pretty heavy sleeper though. The location is very advantageous, right next to Tower Bridge. There is a Sainsbury supermarket nearby for food and groceries, about halfway between the Leman House and Aldgate / Aldgate East tube stations, which are the closest/most convenient since they also cover several lines (Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City). They are also just on the edge inside Zone 1, so travelling between the place and other touristy parts of London is cheaper than it could have been would the place have been a bit further out. There is also a pier right next to Tower Bridge if you are into river sightseeing tours / want to get to Westminster or Greenwhich in style. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here, and I will try to book here again in the future. My personal tourism recommendation is exploring Potters Fields Park on the south bank for nice panoramic views including Tower Bridge and Tower of London.
I really can't think of anything, I got all I paid for and more at that.

London is expensive, and decent accommodation that is (a) relatively inexpensive for those who won't do bunkbeds in a hostel, and (b) that is also close to the action, is very hard to find. This little room fit the bill. It's self check-in, via a code you enter at the street door, then climb the stairs to your room. The room was tiny but clean. There was one window looking out back that gave us some air but also the muffled yet distinct sound of trains passing nearby. I wasn't bothered by the urban background noise, though my wife found it somewhat distractive. We had a small closet for suitcase storage and an "ensuite" bathroom that was very clean and nearly brand new. There was a communal kitchen--with fridge, microwave, stove (no oven), dishes, a few utensils, sink, table and chairs--for the three units on the floor, which was just across the hall from our room. We had it pretty much to ourselves. Just out the front door were restaurants, grocery stores and the Aldgate East Tube stop just 7 minutes away on foot. It wasn't cheap, but by London standards it was a great value, and it made a fine center of operations for a couple of days exploring London.
The main problem was getting the street door entry code and other access instructions in advance. We asked the owners for this information via messaging on Booking.com, but got no reply. Two days before we were scheduled to check in, we tried again, but again to no avail. We finally sought help from Booking.com; the Booking agent tried to call the owners, but got no answer to the call. However, the Booking.com agent also gave me the phone number for the owner, and later that evening I finally reached him. He seemed still reluctant to release the codes, but after I mentioned my reservation numbers, my attempts to contact him, my home address and phone in the US, he gave me the information I needed. The self check-in process after that was painless.

Room was very clean and the common space kitchen with fridge and microwave was handy. For the price paid, considering the position, I might come back again
Communication with staff only via email, never saw anyone from the beginning to the end of the stay. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, just sayin. Bathroom a bit outdated, walls a bit paperthin. Metro was connected ok to reach some parts of london, for some others, not that practical.

Good location, very close to amenities and underground stations that make travelling anywhere in London very easy and also a lot of places were within easy walking distance from here if you prefer to do that as well. Room had everything I could have needed for my stay and was perfectly clean. Despite being near train tracks I could not hear them whilst in my room so that was another big positive. Check in was simple and easy which I really appreciated.
Nothing, I was happy with all of it!
