We loved all of the amenities at Hotel Zinema. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’d ever had. There is a fresh orange juice machine and made to order eggs. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated the bidet. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The parking underneath the hotel (level -4) was a bit of a pain to get in and out of but we appreciated not having to figure out parking on our own. The hotel is located outside the old city but the walk never bothered us. We loved that they loaned out DVDs but one was scratched half way through and the other didn’t have English subtitles so it didn’t really pan out for us!

The old cinema theme of the hotel with pictures of old movie stars and old movies is nice, it gives a bit of a personality to the place. Everything was just fine except the parking detailed below .

This booking was part of a roadtrip we did in the north of Spain therefore one of the main selection points for us was the parking. We however missed the fact that you had to book your parking spot in advance (the reservation was made probably a month before the stay) and when we got there they told us their private parking was fully booked. This was a bit disappointing and we had to find another parking nearby which in this city with tight busy streets was not a very fun:) In the end we did find an underground parking spot pretty close to the hotel so everything was ok.

Great hotel in San Sebastián, location is a little bit off from center of attractions but there is public transportation right across the street that helped perfectly. Parking is also available but a little tricky to get in. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Loved the bathroom mirror as it didn’t fog up in the bathroom after taking a shower. Breakfast and cafe was great to use although many restaurants are in the neighborhood as well. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again when in town.

San Sebastián is a wonderful place to visit and Hotel Zinema7 was a great choice. The hotel was a 10 min walk from the bus terminal or train station. The room was comfortable and good value for a town that is somewhat expensive compared to other Spanish town we had visited. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but… the property is located out of the old town. It is a 20 minute flat walk along the river into the old town and beach front. We are big walkers so it did not concern us in the slightest. San Sebastián is a bike and pedestrian friendly town and the walk into town was lovely.

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also quite large and had everything we needed. Location was ok, 15 minutes walk to the city center, quiet neighborhood with lots of shops and places.

The walls are pretty thin, we could hear some guests screaming and talking very loud at 4 a.m We contacted the hotel and they called the room and made sure they would keep quiet. They were very responsive.

The design all through out is beautiful, simple and yet artistic. The tones, furniture, colours give a warm, calm look and atmosphere. The staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. The room I was staying at was lovely, very clean, spacious with a square balcony, where I enjoyed sipping my nesspreso coffee - compliment of the hotel. I would highly recommend the place, and I certainly would come back again.

The only thing perhaps was the mattress, as it was a tiny bit hard for me, as I'm used to softer memory type. But I admit I slept very well.

Hotel Zinema7 has great history as it was previously a Cinema Theatre, which is a lot to say in a city like San Sebastián with its strong ties to the 7th art form. The rooms are super comfortable and they all have movie stars decorations, which is a fun bonus track. The library / café space in the lobby is amazing, full of cinema books, magazines and old equipment which you can browse while you wait or simply want to have a read. The location is also great as it's in a very quiet area, near the river, with many bars and nice buildings around. You can easily walk anywhere in San Sebastián but there's also a bus stop near the hotel that will take you to the centre / coast.

The bathroom has a blurred glass door that does not hermetically close. This is pretty bad for privacy (visuals, noise, smells) if you're traveling with someone else. Not sure why they don't have regular doors, this is something they should change for better privacy and comfort.

Loved this hotel. The bus stop is right in their front door and the bus service is incredible. We had a car, but we heft it parqued and used public transportation everywhere. Everyone spoke with us and were friendly, couteous and willing to help.

Hotel with 10+ rating! Very well located, close to the center, with underground parking! Successful, welcoming and relaxing design. Everything was superlative, spacious, comfortable, very clean and a special breakfast! Well trained, helpful staff! It can be used for holidays, family and business. From a qualitative point of view, it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel, 2 adults and 1 child, 12 years old. Thank you!

Very good location. I have MS and drive a a mobility scooter. It was easy to drive it into the hotel and the room. I had a disabled toilet that was very comfortable to use. Our room was very big and nicely decorated with Elizabeth Taylor’s pictures. It was entertaining to see all the pictures of all the actors and actresses. I recommend this hotel. I will come back,
