Wonderful view of the city from well placed windows. Huge, comfy bed. Area around the hotel felt safe. Very convient to walk to the Highline, Port Authority, Times Square.

The hotel took two payments on my debit card for incidentals and promised that the money would be returned after our check out. One payment has been repayed but the second one of $25 has yet to be repaid (over 40 hours ago) I called the hotel 24 hrs after check out but they have yet to sort the problem out. Every other hotel I have stayed in have never taken two payments and any payment taken has always been repaid within 24 hours of a check out.

Excellent and nice quiet location. There was a restaurant in the hotel and a bar which was super convenient. Nice new clean rooms

We didnt get a reply to any of the questions regarding transportation to and from hotel. We sorted ourselves out. The day before we went they charged us for the room. Beds were too small for 2 people. We booked a deluxe queen room and when we asked why it wasnt bigger the answer was the room type depends on the floor your in (higher more expensive) but we just wanted more space.

We got a free upgrade when we arrived, clean, room was amazing, staff were beyond lovely and super helpful, location itself was good, subway stops and main station for the airport within a few minutes walk. 25/20 mins walk from lots of central sights. Next to Hudson yards.

Walking down 35th at night was a bit scary at first and we accidentally walked into a dodgy bit close by on the first night. I’d recommend turning right out of the hotel for the main sights or left and left again for Hudson yards. The front door is locked at night though so it felt super safe for two girls in their 20s.

Hotel location is, in my opinion, its biggest plus: it is at walking distance from 2 Underground stations so You can easily and rapidly reach all main attractions. Additionally the area is pretty quiet and very safe. From the room (very spacious for NYC standards) I could even see the Hudson river. If you walk only 5 minutes You can reach the Edge, the High Line and Penn station. Friendly staff and complimentary water were also very appreciated. Good price.

The room felt generously-sized (compared to other Manhattan hotels); complimentary coffee in the lobby; mutiple interior stairwells that open to the lobby (unlike other Manhattan hotels); early check-in was a breeze; complimentary bottled water in room

the fitness center was in the basement, had very limited weight training equipment (one piece had a sign on it that it was awaiting repair), and the TV did not seem to work; no shelf in the shower to place a bar of soap

Breakfast expensive

Staff was incredibly kind, helpful and professional. They made everyone feel very welcome. Location is super convenient. We had an amazing view from our window. They have arrangements for parking nearby, which was very important for us.

I was a bit surprised to see that the room didn't have mini fridge to cool drinks. Lobby area is on a smaller side, so maybe not the most convenient for very large groups, but not a big deal.

It was close to subway station, nice cafés and supermarket. The attractions such as the Edge, Madison Square Garden, Empire State building are relatively close (within walking distance). There is also a Whole Foods nearby and the Macy’s is also not too far away. The hotel’s facilities are nice, the restaurant is very good value for price. The staff is very helpful and kind.

Our room (eventhough we have got an upgrade) was very small. We stayed there fo over a week and it was a real challenge to manage with all our luggages. There is no fridge in the room, not even an empty for snack items you would get from the downstairs bar. The closet was very small, so we couldn’t really unpack our stuff. The neighbourhood the hotel is in is good, but to get to the main attractions further in the city you sometimes need to walk through some more unpleasent parts of town, such as Hell’s kitchen for example.

Location was fantastic and able to walk or get the metro all around New York and Brooklyn. Some good bodegas nearby to get a cheap bagel for breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful, offering water and coffee downstairs most days. Really good value for money as we hadn't realised we booked our stay during New York fashion week and still felt we got a great price. Good facilities in the room, with lots of sockets, a good iron and a safe included.

Could have done with an extra pillow and they only service the room every other day, so you only get your complimentary water every other day too. That said, there was most days water available by the cup in the lobby.
