The lady who runs it is very kind and helpful. The room was very beautiful, tidy, clean and spacious. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and filling. Strongly recommend. I will be back! With love Marios from Cyprus

The whole of Ardnamurchan is tough to drive in, the roads are a single lane so if you are not confident driving in narrow roads you might need to consider it. But personally I would still book it, If you like peace and quiet the place is ideal. Just bear in mind that driving to and from it is about 50 percent slower than what Google maps show. Compared to all the positives though I would gladly risk driving on tiny roads just to visit this amazing area and to stay in coille darach

An excellent bowl of perfectly cooked porridge followed by bacon, egg, and beans - what's not to like? The area is also very beautiful though we didn't have as long as we would have liked to explore it further.

If anything, our room was over-warm, even though we kept the door to the bathroom (with its very nice heated floor) closed. Mind you, we'd been camping for a week in cold weather beforehand, so we'd probably got used to being chilly at night.

We stayed here for 2 nights a loved everything about it. The location is superb, right on the edge of a Celtic rainforest, and the property is in an ideal location for exploring the area (we highly recommend the road from Strontian to Sanna Bay). Mary was lovely and makes a great breakfast. As far as value for money goes, we would say this is hard to beat. For the price you won’t find much better than Coille Darach

Nothing.

The lady host was very nice, generous, caring and ready to assist. The breakfast was outstanding. The location was attractive especially for those who are looking to explore the nature. We had a wonderful time and would very much recommend it.

For couples without Kids, it's perfect. With kids, there is one room without any separation and this seemed very small and uncomfortable especially for more than two nights stay. But all in all it worked out for us.

The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in a long time. Mary, the hostess was a star, so friendly and helpful. I would recommend her B n B to everyone.

We think her previous guests must have fiddled with the remote control for the TV as most buttons tuned into the same channel. But it didn’t affect our stay as we had other things to do.

We absolutely loved it here, and my children are still talking about it now. My youngest does a passable impression of Denise, who looked after us for breakfast on a couple of mornings! Without exception, everyone looked after us amazingly and we truly didn't want to leave. The village is wonderful for bike rides and walks, and whilst there isn't a huge amount of shops and restaurants, there is a FANTASTIC restaurant opposite (venison with a bottle of Skye Gold? Heaven) and a proper old school petrol station, so more facilities than we thought there would be! We were lucky enough to be there while the village festival was on, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is close to so many beautiful places, I am missing it now as I write this review, thinking of the dog playing catch with the children and the cat hiding under the car.

A beautiful, perfectly designed house, managed with care and consideration by the owners, Mary and Johnny. We had a wonderful time at a special time of year. The room was furnished perfectly and breakfast was excellent. Now that the ferry is running again, it was easy to reach. There are places to eat for people with differing budgets.

Nothing.

The location, owner and facilities were brilliant. Lovely breakfast and a really friendly but well mannered dog. Fantastic walks in the area. Very helpful owner Mary. Would love to go back but bedding needs to be upgraded

The only thing that was a let down was an uncomfortable mattress and pillows.

This place certainly exceeded our expectations, for many aspects. Large and comfortable rooms (with limited view), very comfortable beds, great breakfast, extremely quiet place, far from tourist buzz... (but with reasonable distance from the great tourist attraction, like Glencoe). Also, we discover the area which itself is interesting! (the tourists crowding up 20kms further away). We might come again once. The restaurant, just on the other side of the road , offer high value for money too and worth the visit.

The experience was perfect, but don't go for the views (there is none special). The hostess was very professional, but maybe we lacked some more "personal touch" ?

Very clean, nice airy room, excellent bathroom with modern shower and enough space, quiet neighbourhood, tasty breakfast, very good restaurant in Strontian. Location is good to travel to either Fort William/ Glencoe region or towards Isle of Skye, beautiful area with lots of Lochs and Glens
