We only spent one night and we wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to come back. Gary & Mairi turned a one night stay into a full experience. They are welcoming and so lovely. The place is impeccable and comfortable and the rooms have stunning water views. There were plenty of options for breakfast (incl. vegetarian) and was delicious. We were traveling with a 5 year old and she loved playing with Jake, the lab pup and feed the goats and turkeys. Fantastic experience all around and absolutely recommend the place

Not a single thing

This was the perfect stay!! I absolutely loved my time! Mairi and Gary are amazing hosts and I loved talking to and getting to know them!! They also had lots of great recommendations, from music to places to go, things to see, and shops! Breakfast was a huge spread! And my cozy room was such a peaceful haven! Loved the decor so much I actually ordered a plaid throw like the one on my bed that now looks lovely on my couch at home! The clawfoot tub was wonderful too! And the location is beautiful, overlooking the water and mountains and close to so many places I wanted to see! Couldn't recommend Highland Croft B & B enough!! Thanks so much!!

We were warmly welcome by our hostess, who was also very helpful before our stay. The room is rather small but comfortable, and the bathroom really great. We arrived at nighttime during a storm but the morning we saw the amazing view of the loch. We also enjoyed meeting the family animals on the way to our room 😺🐶

We struggled falling asleep because there was a lot of noise upstairs, which also woke us up in the morning.

Mairi and Gary are super nice and make sure that you feel welcome and comfortable. So do the dog and the cat. We love pets and animals, so that was just a bonus during our stay. The view from our room was amazing. We can absolutely recommend staying at this B&B. The location is also perfect for trips in that area.

The beds are a little short for tall people. The entrance to the shower is very small for bigger people.

Absolutely stunning location. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with a glorious bath to soak in after a long walk. Super friendly host who was happy to help with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Enjoy gorgeous views while eating a delicious cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend this accommodation as a base to explore the beautiful Highlands.

There is a little noise from other guests but this didn't bother us at all. Might be an issue if you have small children. Also, a small communal fridge for guests would be a great addition.

The hosts were beyond lovely and the view was to die for! The room was spacious and had an amazing bathroom! We didn't get to spend much time with the animals as we were in a bit of a rush to get to skye, which was a mistake! The farm looked beautiful and i promised to return one day soon! Spend 2-3 nights here minimum and see the area and enjoy the 10/10 hospitality!

An absolute top place to stay. Exceptional on every level. Clean, bright and situated in paradise! The hosts are so friendly, the breakfast was delicious. I really can't fault it at all. We were informed on lots of things to do in the area, places to eat etc.

Absolutely faultless. There really is nothing that I could fault. We were lucky as it was a clear,frosty day and the sun shining over the loch was gorgeous. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We were downright stunned, from the location of this lovely Croft - behind the fence is essentially a private beach where you can walk alone and also swim! This is the dream place of every winter bather! Not to mention the extremely pleasant host family and their pets. We were very, very satisfied and this accommodation was one of the most wonderful experiences and places to stay on our road trip. Unique, personal, comfortable, sparkling clean, royally rich breakfast .... In short - everyone who gets the chance to stay there is lucky!

The setting is beyond stunning - I was lucky to be in a room that looked out over the garden and the Loch just beyond. The room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was very sociable and delicious. Mauri generated good banter amongst the guests which was a lovely touch. The doors to the dining room also offer a magnificent view of the Loch. Mairi and Gary are lovely and offered some great tips for the area including great dining recommendations!

Nothing negative to add

Great hospitality from Mairi and Gary. The opportunity to access the shore and enjoy the wonderful view - we were lucky to enjoy very good weather on our visit. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Parking was easy.

Unfortunately, we found the bed uncomfortable and did not a get a great sleep either night of our stay. To some extent this reflects personal preference for a firmer mattress.
