The location was perfect, and we preferred the styling and privacy better than the more expensive yet generic and commercial looking Orient Bay hotel. We were amazed by the extensive breakfast buffet included which greatly increased the value and delight of our stay at la Plantation. The kitchen area and large shaded terrace were great additions to our room and we loved their pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were able to accommodate our early arrival. Definitely will recommend to others and come back to visit on our next stay in Saint Martin!

Some of the bathrooms were a little dated compared to others that were remodeled after the hurricane, but the size and private locations more than made up for that little detail.

Been to this property several times. It is very well managed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We like the private setting and outdoor space with view. Beach towels and complimentary chairs on beach were a plus.

While during our stay we experienced a 36 hour power outage un related to La Plantation. I thought they could have done a little more to improve the comfort like keeping lights on near pool for reading etc. Not a complaint we made out fine.

Everything went way above and beyond what was expected. This was my 4th time staying here and every time the service, facilities, staff and atmosphere have been excellent. I accidently forgot an important notebook in my room after I left and they arranged to get it to me within 2 days of my return to the US. Very special thanks to the exceptional staff-Daniella, Sherry and Abimael!

There is nothing I didn't like at La Plantation

The room was gorgeous with an amazing view. Very spacious. Everything we needed. The staff were very reactive and friendly. They were there to cater to our needs. The restaurant was good and breakfast buffet as well.

No hot water in the shower.

Room was wonderful. It was a good location, but a pretty long walk to the beach. Restaurant was small, but adequate for the hotel. Breakfast was included nothing to brag about. It’s a walk from reception to your room, if walking bothers to you, particularly uphill note that when you make a reservation.

Not much to complain about, the restaurant never anticipated, running out of coffee so it was about a 10 to 15 minute wait for a new pot. I wasn’t the only one most of the diners were lined up and waiting for coffee.

The breakfast is nice and good, service is great and the bungalow's are just great

you have access to certain beaches for free but as you are from a hotel you do not pay on-site and are kind of treated as second class customers as the one's who have to pay are obviously more interesting for the staff on-site which is not from the hotel. Additionally all these islands have a huge problem with the "sargasse" - so the experience at the beach is in any case pretty disappointing.

Location of the pool and rooms that partly oversee Orient bay/ocean . The rooms/cottage is very spacious. Usage of beach beds a several clubs is great (Coco Beach is great), happily we were in the low season. Sister restaurant Maison Mère has à very nice ambiance (note fine dining concept). Multiple restaurant options

2nd bed does not have netting for muskitos. Beds could be improved with a topper. The room/cottage has neigboughs, if you have noisy neighbour's (like we did one night out of three) you can hear everything. It's quite a steep walk to the beach, I guess not suitable for everybody. Hotel customers do not get a beach bed at the first row (that's reserved for 'paying' customers)

The staff was excellent. Especially the breakfast crew. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome at the hotel and on the island. They are very knowledgeable about places to go, the best beaches, even who to see when we get to the beach to even make out stay unforgettable. The front desk girl, Saoude, was as good and welcoming. Just because of them, I am already planning my next trip.

I liked everything.

The location and views from our room were incredible. The free breakfast was some of the best food I had all vacation and La Plantation cafe's dinner was amazing. The size of the room was fantastic and perfect for our little one to play around.

We were up at the very top of the property so it was a steep hill to climb to get back to our room. It wasn't too bad and at check in we were escorted up there by the staff in golf carts. I would say the room, though clean and comfortable, was a little run down and could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Our first stay here. We will definitely be back! We loved the great location near Orient Bay beach and near Grand Case. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping did an excellent job and the ladies at the breakfast area were great!

I have no idea what I would do to improve our stay. All was excellent and we are already planning our next trip.
