We had a very warm welcome at checkin and our room was ready much earlier than the listed checkin time. The view was great, it seemed we had been given the best room available. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff continued to show kindness and welcomeness every day/night we were there.

The property is a little hidden from the main road and its a somewhat steep walk too from the city center, but you can easily reach most of the restaurants/bars and shops within 10-15 minutes of walking.

This was the return leg of our stay in Labuan so for a short one-night short stay we chose a slightly more modest hotel than for our first, longer stop - more in the centre too. Once we're found the place we were really delighted with our choice. The welcome was great and there was a great view across the harbour from the reception area where the great breakfast was served the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the room size good; great bathroom too. There's a shortcut down to the street below, but it is rather perilous/unlit and not for the faint-hearted so the walk may be longer and the uphill on the return.

It was really hard to find - there isn't a sign or not one we saw so it took us a while to locate it and there are steep steps down to the property. There's a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom so perhaps not for everybody although not an issue with us! Paintwork could do with a bit of refreshing in areas but again these are small things which should not detract from such a lovely stay.

Super comfortable, super clean and absolutely amazing place to stay in Labuan Bajo. Blue Parrot is locally owned homestay with the standards of a hotel when it comes to the rooms, comfort, views and staff. We had the room with our own private terrace overlooking the sea, absolutely stunning! The room was spacious with king size bed and one more single bed. Bathroom was clean and modern (no doors - no problem). The staff was absolutely amazing, Mr. Suni was super welcoming and helpful with all the questions we had. His fellow colleagues were fantastic in taking care of us, cooking the breakfast and cleaning up the room. We stayed for 5 nights and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. 7-10 minutes walking to the town. Definitely would return back. We always prefer to stay in locally owned places just to show our support. If you want to stay away from the noisy traffic of the main street but still be within walking distance then I highly recommend staying in Blue Parrot!!!

The place - best value for money, clean, nice view, has Netflix (!!!) best location as it’s so close to the city centre but it’s not in the busy street of the city which we thought sooooo nice Host - Pak Sunni is the best host you could ask for. He’s so attentive, so helpful to show us around, recommend good foods, sharing us genuine tips as tourists in Labuan Bajo, he’s just the sweetest. Oh also, his breakfast are amazing Pro tips - You may book your day trip to islands from the agent recommended by Pak Sunni as it’s cheaper than most agents there, and the service of the agent that we went with were excellent. Also, rent Pak Sunni’s motorcycle! It’s sooo amazing to be able to go places and catch sunsets on that motorcycle.

The position of the accommodation was perfect as it was just on the edge of town , and elevated with wonderful views over the harbour and the surrounding islands . Our host was so welcoming and friendly and booked us a fabulous Komodo Tour and onward bus journey + recommended restaurants. Our breakfasts were fresh and delicious and our room was comfortable with a huge bed and fresh white bedding . A delightful stay with a perfect host .

Short taxi ride from Airport (50k R). Blue Parrot is in a quiet part of town away from the noise of LBJ. You can walk safely to good places to eat and or into LBJ. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially with help for onward travel and where to eat. Nice breakfast included with views over the bay. Very good value for money.

Not the easiest to find. Sign outside is difficult to read and make sure taxi is looking for Blue Parrot and not somewhere with a Pirate in the name. Take zip code or map for taxi driver.

The manager Suni is a fantastic person. He helped us with everything from arranging airport pickup to Komodo island trip to solving the issues we faced with the toilet. Always with a smiling face and ready to help. The view from the breakfast area and sea view room is very good.

The toilets need proper doors, curtains are too small for comfort. The sea view room toilet is not as good as the normal room toilet (we stayed in both rooms) and we faced water clogging issues on first day. But let me assure that Suni will solve all your problems.

Our hosts Suni and his wife (?) were wonderful! friendly, polite and very helpful with everything we needed or wanted to know. The accommodation seems to be newly refurbished with really nice bedrooms/bathrooms and the most comfortable bed we have slept in in ages! The location is super convenient with only minutes down to the harbour and the city centre and the view overlooking the harbour/bay is stunning! We also loved our breakfast with toast, omelette, cereal & yoghurt, fresh fruit,... Everything was perfect for us and we would go back there to stay anytime again!

Amazing personel which immediately give some advice regarding good place too it and it was great place with nice food and beautiful view on sunset. Room was nice, comfortable with awsome tarrace view. Smart tv jb the room give as option to whatch the move and rest after long trip. View from breakfast zone is unforgettable and breakfast it self is very tasty and huge. I couldn't eat whole, so I think big men's would be satisfied :) Good place to stay before komodo cruise.

Wonderful view-looking out to the ocean. Room had a big patio in front. Very large room, nicely furnished. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He helped arrange a trip to Komodo island. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and filling.

The only thing odd was that the bathroom did not have a door, only a curtain. Also the large bathroom window looked out onto a little yard connected to the patio. I was traveling alone, so was not a problem. Could be a problem depending on who you are traveling with.
