I chose this hotel both for its location and for the daily breakfast. Downtown Ashland was less than a two block walk; each of the five mornings we stayed we enjoyed a hot breakfast, eggs, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy (not a homemade gravy but adequate) waffles, granola and yogurt, juices, toast ( not all these at once!) and always lots of hot coffee ready. There is a nice porch with tables and chairs to enjoy if the inside is too crowded. We also want to commend both Krystal and Michael for their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and pleased with the accommodations!

We twice turned the "Do not disturb" sign when we didn't want the room cleaned, then when we turned the sign around thinking we would then receive service, we didn't read it carefully; it said Do not Disturb in Spanish! We just thought it was funny, not that we didn't like it.

Facilities were very clean. Room and bed were very comfortable. We appreciated the old world charm of the decor. Location is perfect as it’s on a quiet side street, but short walking distance to the central area of Ashland.

The breakfast selection was very good, and the attendant was constantly keeping everything tidy. However, a couple of the cooked hot dishes took an extremely long time to be replenished. We found other breakfast items to eat and left before the promised hot dishes made it to the buffet.

I appreciated that they allowed us to leave our gear and car while we were on a hiking trip. The location is very central. The waffles for breakfast are good.

It would be great to have hot coffee available in the morning in the lobby. There is a keurig in the room, which is great but only powdered creamer which is not so great. There were only two wash clothes in the room even though we indicated we had a group of three. The hot tub wasn't working. Staff was not very friendly, and were often hard to get. We would push the bell at the desk and often waited for several minutes for someone to come out. The breakfast was barely adequate.

We really liked the location. It was in downtown Ashland. Walking distance from restaurants, shopping and parks. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. It was decorated for Christmas which made it very festive. The breakfast was decent, nothing special. We are not big breakfast eaters so it was fine.

The pillows on the bed were as hard as rock. Nobody sleeps on pillows that are that hard. I have NEVER experienced that before. Extremely uncomfortable. The bed itself was great, the pillows were not.

The building is lovely, the interior warm and inviting. The rooms are quite new and fresh. Everything is very clean and welcoming. All in all, a very good experience. I didn't want to leave, I could have stayed a few days and enjoyed all it offered.

The breakfast was surprisingly bad. Pre-packaged in plastic breads, muffins, etc. had a chemical smell and taste. Sugary cereals and very little choice. Also, I am in such disagreement with the little plastic packets of sugar and coffee whitener in the rooms. There are so NOT environmentally friendly, and there is never enough whitener or sugar, so all the plastic (again) packets get opened just for a whitener and then the entire packet is then discarded. SOmeone needs to come up with a better method!

Clean, comfortable bed, great location, easy check in/out. Breakfast was ok if you like waffles/cereal/powdered eggs and cheesy hash browns.

There was some sort of scent added. When the heater came on the whole room smelled like air freshener which is fine if you aren’t an allergy sufferer. Instant headache for me.

This was our 4th stay in the past 2 years. Location to OSF is a deciding factor to chose this property, plus an included tasty breakfast is another incentive to return.

Being told that our favorite room (#222) is no longer available to reserve through Booking.com. =:>( That we’d have to book it on the hotel’s website.

Bed could have been more comfortable, maybe deluxe pillow top matress pads in more choices in pillow size, some were too thick and hard

The breakfast was excellent. Like before the pandemic. I was able to eat well with a low carb diet. Plenty of variety for every appetite. Sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs worked well for me. For others there was French Toast, waffles and sausage gravy.

The refrigerator could have been in a better location in the room: The door opened the wrong way, making it more difficult to access the inside.

Beautifully located in the heart of Ashland situated next to a relaxing creek. Hotel is beautiful and a room was very comfortable for the five of us. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was delicious, also.

The only thing we didn’t like is that we didn’t get to stay longer than one night.
