Super ! Very polite people. Everything prepared for guests. Towels for free. Bedding clean and fresh. Toilets clean, number of showers. Room access with card - professional! Free luggage store for whole day. Breakfast included in night stay. Cheap ! Service helpfull and with smile on their face. Hostel just few steps from metro station, then only 5 minutes to city center, 10 to old town.

All was super.

Location was awesome (two metro stations near by - Parque & Marquês). The main bus / train station is only a couple of stops away too. Easy to get to the center (Rossio) within a 20-30min walk. Breakfast was simple but everything needed (cereal, fruits, yogurts, coffee machine, milk & fruit juice, bread, toaster, ham / cheese, jams & butter) to feel satisfied before heading out for a long day. Elevator working properly. Shared bathrooms were overall clean and the hot water worked perfectly in the showers. I was in a female 6-bedroom bed but luckily we were only 3 persons staying and my roommates were super quiet and discreet. We kept the window open during the night because of the hot weather but we didn't have any problem with noise from the outside. I also arrived a bit earlier than the predicted check in time, the staff was super nice and took the payment and kept my bags until the room was ready. They also kept my bag for a couple of hours after check it and it was a free service.

Honestly, nothing really negative to point out. It was one of the best places I've stayed after travelling around and sleeping in hostels and sharing bedrooms with strangers for over 10 years. A really good deal in terms of price-quality, specially in a city like Lisbon and during high tourism summer season. I got what I paid for and left pleasantly surprised.

The breakfast was adequate. The location was ideal. But it was the staff that made the stay exceptional in their gracious efforts to many changes I needed to ask them for. The assistance my wife and I received was beyond their normal call I'm sure. Their relaxed, caring attitude was really their innate character, and it made all the difference of a plesant stay, even during a stressful 4-day reservation of a large very young school group. The staff of this particular Hostel deserve raises in salary, sincerely.

The high population at the time kept the staff from being able to keep the bathrooms as clean as I suspect they would normally be. The infrastructure (in the showers, bathrooms) need a bit of repair and modernizing.

breakfast is good - you get musli, fruits, yogurt, cheese and ham, coffee and other drinks the room is basic but it had three sockets for charging and not one - what I expected based on the comments of others who stayed in this property, but anyway, it was a good idea to bring with me an extension for charging three appliances Location is simply amazing, you can walk to the Plaza de Comercia in 10 minutes by Avenida street, and return by Principe Reale street, it is very centrally located in the hotels area - next to Hilton, there are several metro stations nearby, and a bus stop for bus that will take you directly to Belem.

basically nothing that I feared could make my stay unpleasant happened. Really enjoyed my stay there , and the people I met during my stay

Breakfast is good. We have breads, toasts, yogurts, cheese, cereal, fruits, plenty choices of tea and coffee. Breakfast time starts from 8am, till 10am. Good location. 1-2mins walk from Picoas Metro station. You can find a Supermarket once you get out of Picoas Metro. Staff spoke fluent English, nice and helpful. They has room cleaning service and provide clean towels every 3 days. Wifi was good.

We could not have breakfast on some days as we had day trips to other towns and had to took early trains/buses. It would be excellent if breakfast time could be a bit earlier e.g. 730am. (but present time arrangement was reasonable) The wardrobe in our room (our room was twin with disability access) had to be fixed.

Breakfast is very good, personal is friendly and you can put your luggage to the storage for some hours after checkout. I was alone in the room for 4 people and I also like it. Location is very good and quite.

I don't like that lock on the door of my room was broken and every time that I need to go inside it was necessary to ask person from reception to open the door. Or you need to put door open all time, when you are outside... Toilets and bathrooms all time looks like swimming pool. But I think it's because some guests don't know that during the shower they should be careful and don't put water on the floor outside.

The reception staff is very friendly and helpfull. The 4-bed female dorm was big and the bed was comfortable. The lockers are convenient, note: bring your own lock. Breakfast was sufficient to start your day well. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning staff really do a good job. But unfortunately some hostel guests don't leave the bathrooms tidy, which is not respectful to other guests and the staff. The hostel is located right next to metro station Picoas, so it's very easy to get around town. It's also within walking distance to Marques de Pombal and other places. All in all, a good hostel! I would definitely come back to stay again. Até a proxima!

Some hostel guests can be very noise at night, which is disrespectful to other guests and the staff. Everybody comes there for their holiday, so please dear guests, keep it pleasant for everybody. But bring ear plugs, just in case. Thank you.

The ladder to the top bunk bed, quite small, hard rungs that I found difficult and the bed wobbled a bit so I felt sad for the lady in the bunk below me when I climbed in and out. Very good breakfast and friendly staff, cheerful atmosphere in the canteen Excellent location, very close to the Metro and easy to get in and out from the airport

This was not the fault of the hotel. I was quite shocked at how noisy the place was put on surprising really, because it was the centre of Lisbon. I was surprised to hear the dustbin men empty bins from the Sheraton hotel at midnight found this quite amusing.

The room was pretty quiet, the location of the hostel is excellent, so close to the metro and lots of cafes nearby, also not too far out from the centre but not a party headquarters either so good to stay also to get some rest in. Truly no complaints, good value for money, albeit the room was super simple and plain.

The only thing I can come up with was an aroma in my bathroom which was not entirely pleasant but not off-putting either. I could not figure out what it was and truly, not a big thing at all. No real complaints here.

HI Lisboa - Pousada de Juventude was a good stay overall. Although breakfast wasn't included, the accommodation itself was fine, and the location was convenient for getting around Lisbon.

The lack of charging ports near the beds was inconvenient, with only one port in the room located near the entrance door. It made it difficult to charge my phone easily.
