Clean rooms and toilets. General areas were spotless. Great location right beside a Metro stop, a supermarket (Aldi) and coffee shops and a few restaurants. The city is very 'walkable' from this location.

The coffee available in the machines at breakfast is easily the worst we've ever tasted. There was a machine for coffee pods and a separate automatic 'barista' type but the coffee from both was undrinkable. Also, why no teaspoons available at breakfast? Other than the coffee the buffet breakfast was superb. The other major gripe is that the air conditioning system was impossible to work out so it was either too hot or too cold. No instructions were provided on how to set the dial/controls. We asked Reception about it and they sent up a maintenance guy but he had very little English and ran through the controls quickly but it still wasn't easy to set no matter how much tweaking we did.

Very clean, really comfy bed and pillows. Basic toiletries and complimentary water and tea and coffee appreciated. Staff warm and friendly, gave good breakfast recommendation since we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel. Located on the edge of the hustle and bustle so had to walk but was well priced and super close to a large shopping street with nice markets.

The automated messages from the hotel asking for payment at first appeared maybe untrustworthy. I was able to rectify it by calling the hotel and confirming my booking and payment so wasn't a huge issue.

It was not my first time in this Hotel but this time I have noticed a different staff, younger, and very very kind to satisfy the costumers. Everything was excellent, the breakfast room is now much bigger and pleasant and the breakfast itself much better then before. Mr. Tomás Loureiro was specially helpful in finding a more quiet room, always very kind and polite . Also the lady who attend us at during the checkout was very professional in solving a little issue related with a reembursment due. All the staff was FIVE STARS .

The hotel is very modern and stylish, breakfast was great and had many different options. The restaurant and reception staff was very friendly. Location is relatively central and within a walkable distance to the city centre. We came from the airport with the train and it took only around 30 minutes.

The room key (card) was demagnetising and at some point we could not access the room, thus had to go down to the reception and ask to fix the issue. No other complaints.

Very good room, confortable bed and little extras. Good breakfast with lot of choice, friendly helpful staff at reception and in restaurant. Location was away from the main tourist area but was well served by public transport and taxis.

Unfortunately the man who worked in the bar was not as friendly and helpful as the other staff and appeared to ignore the young intern who was given very little to do and missed out on her training experience

Great Location. Not right in the thick of it, but walkable. Very close to the open topped bus starting point which we used a lot. Not being down in the old town, meant that we had options of places to eat which were not as expensive as down at the front. Walked down from the train station - a bit of a walk, but we don't mind that. Room was smart and clean. Hotel was modern. Plenty of options for breakfast and the staff were friendly. Reception staff gave us a warm welcome, and were helpful.

At the time of our stay there was building works in the site next to the hotel. This meant there was a lot of noise in the morning (from 8am through to 6pm) This was unfortunate, but we were out all day so it was not too much of a problem. Just unlucky we were there at that time.

The location was excellent, walking distance to most of the main areas of the city. The room was ideal for short stay. The Bathroom was clean with a good shower.

The offering of free coffee in the room came with 2 x coffee sachets and 2 x small crème (milk) sachets. I think for 2 people this is quite limited considering the price of the room is expensive. When I rang down to reception looking for more coffee sachets and milk I had to pay for coffee and milk. I found this very irritating. Also, the room attendants forgot to leave milk sachets the next day so I had to ring reception to get milk sent up and the hotel attendant came up with a plate and 2 x small milk sachets. I find this cost- cutting measure quite irritating.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location is excellent. Staff was friendly for the most part. When a mistaken invoice was issued for mini bar consumption, it was immediately voided upon our explaining the situation. They provided everything we needed (sewing kit, scissors).

It was very noisy outside in the street the last night we were there. The hotel was transporting laundry carts and it was very loud. We woke up at 3am with the noise and it went on for a long while. There was mold on the stone beside the bathtub. The fridge wasn’t replenished when we first arrived and we had to let them know it the next day when there was an invoice for the missing items, as if we had consumed them (but they were never there to begin with). However, all we had to do was say so and the invoice was cancelled, which was great!

The receptionists are very helpful and the young lady at the breakfast, Beatriz, is lovely. the hotel location is great, close to the subway station, as well as to the starting point of the Hoponhopoff bus. the room size is alright but very comfortable.

The only thing which was a little bit troublesome was the schedule for cleaning service. It always happened in the afternoon, so sometimes we were in the room and it was a bit inconvenient to have the people coming in to do the cleaning.

Modern and clean hotel. The room size was good and bed very comfortable. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast had a great variety of dishes which were regularly replenished.

It was a little further out than some hotels but still very accessible by public transport or a 25 minute walk to the river. I knew this at the time of booking and it wasn’t a problem.
