The location is very good being so close to the airport, and price was very reasonable for a Saturday night stay before our cruise. There are at least 3 good restaurants within a block or two. The seafood restaurant across the street was excellent, as was the Latin one with very reasonably priced Cuban style food just a couple blocks away. Both has nice atmosphere and vibe. We were able to book a Jacuzzi suite for a little more than a king room, and it was to say the least... interesting. The room was clean and very well done, but it has been a long time since we've seen a mirror on the ceiling! "Hotel California" crossed our minds, and we had a few good laughs. There was also a garage beneath the room to drive the Lambo into. It was actually a fun time. In a situation with similar needs, we would stay here again.

The downside... This is definitely an older property that in some ways has seen its best days. I thought we had made a blunder when our taxi dropped us off... but everything was Ok and we had a good stay and felt safe. Families with children were staying there before their cruises. There are a few rough edges with the property such as the door lock that didn't work quite as it was supposed to, but was usable. Not everything was spotlessly clean, but clean enough and the bed was comfortable.

It was conveniently located near the Miami Airport. And felt safe inside and outside the hotel. The room was big enough and bed okay. Staff friendly. Their complementary airport shuttle wasn't available so they agreed to compensate for any Uber fare; our Uber ride was about $11 and they did compensate us. Nice of them. Nearby is a gas station with basic supplies like sunscreen etc in case you are going on a cruise; we bought some stuff from there. Also, there is a local-centric restaurant/bar (Catch of the Day) nearby which was lively with good food.

Only ONE lightbulb in the room and that was the overhead/ceiling light. Missed the bedside lamp and I think very few electric outlets were available for phone. The room was also noisy--apparently a family with several kids staying nearby--perhaps on long term basis. The room was on second floor and their elevator didn't work and so carrying the luggage was not easy but they did help us bring down the luggage when we departed.

We just needed a place to stay for a day until we boarded our cruise ship. The Miami Princess was perfect. The price was great. There was great food nearby at Catch of the Day and The Latin Cafe. And the staff goes out of there way to help you with anything you might need!!!

Time to update the mattresses to something more comfortable

Everything was great for us. I will say that the beds are hard, Some like that and some don't.

Cleaner than the other reviews suggested, and free shuttle to and from airport every half hour was fantastic.

Little expensive for what's offered but for the location can't complain

The room was spacious for the 2 of us. There were 2 queen size beds which were very comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. The room was clean and had efficient A/C. The bathroom was clean, soap and shampoo were provided and there was lots of hot water. This location is very close to the airport but, no airplane noise was heard. The free airport shuttle was available when we returned to Miami International. There are stairs as well as an elevator. There are vending machines and an ATM in the lobby as well as a small microwave.

The wifi/internet was poor. The hotel shuttle was not available when we arrived in the afternoon on a Sunday. The taxi cost $13. I had noticed a photo of coffee being provided in the lobby but, there was none.

Staff, convenient to airport, price & nearby restaurant. Okay for overnight layover.

Desk staff and airport shuttle was great. Bathroom tile newly renovated & room clean - excellent. Saggy mattress needs replacing & hallway doors stick so listened to everyone slamming doors all night - unable to sleep well. Some other guests made a lot of noise which was not pleasant. Peruvian restaurant 1/2 block away was excellent. Did not try seafood restaurant across the street. Did not seem to be much else within walking didtance.

The bar was great and staff very freindly and 10 mins walk from the French quarter. It has a Gym and swimming pool as well. A nice big room as well and very clean.
