This was my second time in this hotel and my stay couldn't be better. First and foremost, I must thank the whole staff, in particular Brianna Loveday ( she is the best, literally ), my "brother" Rush, my yoga fellow Deepak Kumar, and the dearest manager Mayara Ferreira A.K.A May, You can't go wrong with this team, the whole staff is great, but these 4 guys are awesome, they always have a big smile on their faces and were ready to help me with all my needs. My room was perfect, quiet and clean with a fantastic river view, and a delicious rain shower.

This hotel offers breathtaking views on the Hudson River and financial district. Our flight got cancelled so we had a chance to spend two nights in different rooms. Both (two queen-sized beds and one king-sized bed) were clean and aesthetic. Beds are PHENOMENAL!!! I had the best sleep in my life!:) the two-bed-room was more spacious (especially the bathroom) but both rooms are very very beautiful! Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room, which is always nice! Thanks for a great stay!

Bathroom sinks need a bit more attention from the staff, ours were stained a bit.

I liked the size and cleanliness, the view of the river from the window, and some of the room amenities like the mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, iron/ironing board, and the hairdryer. The shower is also excellent, with the hose attachment and the adjustable spray. Great water pressure and temperature control, too. My friend who was travelling with me really loved the beds in particular and claimed that it was some of the best sleep she'd gotten in quite some time. It was also in super close walking distance to the venue of the event we were in town to see, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating in directing us to some after-show karaoke.

The lack of on-site dining options/no room service, the fact that the only way to get filtered water for a reusable water bottle is to go all the way down to the basement fitness center, and the fact that you need your keycard to operate the elevator. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely understand the security reasons behind that choice, but this was the first time I'd ever encountered such a mechanic simply for using an elevator, and it was frustratingly easy to forget. The number of amenities on the property also seemed kind of lacking considering I paid a little over a grand for the room. I mean, okay, I get it, NYC prices and all, and this was far from THE most expensive option on the booking list, but it rather seemed like I was paying a premium price for somewhat standard offerings.

First and foremost, Brianna is the person that you must reach out to while you are staying at AC Marriot, she did absolutely EVERYTHING for me during my stay there. All my needs were attended such as an absolutely quiet room, a nice East River view, luggage storage, and so on, and for the record, always with a big smile on her face. The other fellows from the staff are polite and very responsive too, but Brianna is the name that you have to keep in mind when you are there. What I liked the most besides the quietness and view was the shower, absolutely delicious, the location is great as long you know how to walk nearby, I lived in that area for 12 years so I knew exactly where I was staying, you are gonna stay a few minutes away by walk from Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Sea Port, World Trade Center, the brand new Perelman Performing Arts Center and to my favorite spot in Manhattan, Battery Park.

Unfortunately, my room was cleaned only 2 times in 7 nights, I didn't understand why, I guess they have made some mistake in their schedule, the cleaners are great people and I don't blame them for the problem, it was an inside management flaw for sure.

The staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The staff made our stay remarkable, our entire family enjoyed our stay at AC Hotel by Marriott New York Downtown. We are planning our next New York trip, we will stay here.

The room was a good size, the water view was nice, the bathroom was great, and the open refrigerator was a bonus! Also, the speed of the elevators was much better than in other hotels where I have stayed.

The hotel is good for people who are on a workday business trip in the Financial District, but there are not as many nearby restaurants and other night life activities for non-business/weekend travelers. One day, I put the DND sign on the door, and housekeeping still banged on the door to see if I wanted service. The price of wine in the store downstairs is understandably marked up (for convenience), but $24 for a 'half' bottle of what costs $12-15 in the store for a whole bottle is too much. It simply put a bad taste in my mouth and sent me a real liquor store for a 'whole'-size, better bottle of wine at half the cost.

The room was comfortable, and the hotel was near the Brooklyn Bridge and Seaport, with fun restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. From our 24th-floor room, we had a partial view of the East River. The gym was well-equipped and available 24/7. I liked the second-floor lounge and hung out there early so my partner could sleep in.

I wish that the hotel had a microwave in the rooms or lobby. It was a half mile to the nearest subway station, and breakfast cost $30. Also, room service was so late that we skipped it.

The room was quiet most of the time with a view of the East River. The bed was comfy and the air was comfortable in the hot summer weather. There was room for our suitcases to be opened and there was a roomy fridge. The elevators came quickly. It's walking distance to the Seaport and the NY Ferry.

One day the room was not cleaned. There weren't enough paper cups or coffee in the room. Not very much water came out of the shower. The sliding door to the bathroom has a little space, so it's not that private.

The decor was modern, the lobby was clean, the receptionist was pleasant and acknowledged my birthday in a welcome way. At night, in the lobby, there’s a tabletop tree with miniature linen-like bags with lavender petals to give you a calming sleep. I thought that was unique and thoughtful. The hotel is very close to the pier to take ferry rides or do a helicopter tour of New York City. It was an enjoyable stay

It’s not dislike but more a preference. But nevertheless one that didn’t hindered my stay. Just be mindful that there’s no tub of you wish to having a soaking relaxing moment in your room. The breakfast could have been better for $25.00 more of selection would have been preferred.
