The property was really clean and the staff were so friendly, it was the perfect location as we wanted to explore the 9/11 memorial and other places around the hotel plus the subway was the perfect location and had great links to everywhere we wanted to go, it was also really safe compared to Times Square and other places we had explored. The staff were so attentive and the breakfast was so delicious the fact that they included it in the price was such an amazing deal! I’d stay here again for sure over anywhere else, it’s a simple hotel but you don’t need anything else they are amazing!

Nothing it was really lovely

This property location was amazing, walking distance from multiple metro stations such as Wall Street Stn. Fulton Stn. etc. Tourist attractions such as Brooklyn Bridge, NYSE, 9/11 Memorial, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour Boat location, Staten Island Boat Location were at walking distance so no great dependency on public transport. Property was offering 24 hours coffee/hot chocolate in addition to the amazing breakfast that to starting at 6 am which was very convenient. Had a very strong WiFi connection. Hotel room/bathroom was very clean. Best for family. No complains.

The place had a great location, the free breakfast was very convenient, and we really appreciated being put in a very tall apartment. I feel it's a little bit unfair that this hotel is rated 7-point-something as of today. It really is a solid 8. It's not a luxurious place, but it is decent -- comparable to any Holiday Inn in America.

There was nothing particularly bad about the stay -- but I'll write some things to manage your expectations: the room and the breakfast are Holiday Inn-level quality. So you're not gonna get a super fancy room -- and the breakfast is gonna be very simple and repetitive (pancakes, muffins, milk, cheerios, yogurt, bananas, and apples). It's not fancy, but it's good.

The location is great with many things to see just around the corner. A very affordable hotel with a good breakfast. A special thank you to Destiny in the reception for the great hospitality and always making sure we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a room for three people. The room had three towels when we checked in. However, the following next couple of days, we only got two towels and we had to ask for another one, and one day even twice before we did get one. In the end we did get enough towels, but there seems to be a bit of room of improvement for communication. The cleaning was great!

There was no affordable parking spaces for car rentals in the area. But we loved the easy access to public transport and the hotel provided city guide maps for guests. Awesome. Chef Alea and Manager Jody gave us resourceful guide to the best local restaurants and places to visit. Priceless.

My partner and I spent three nights at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and her birthday in New York. We chose the Holiday Inn Express because it was the best budget-friendly option. It ended up surpassing our expectations. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was ideal for us since we were out exploring the city most of the time, and it was clean and comfortable. The highlight for me was the staff. Anthony and his colleagues (I can't recall their names) were absolutely wonderful—very courteous and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this place!

I wanted to suggest a small adjustment to the breakfast schedule. As a guest who values a leisurely morning and enjoys taking my time to savor breakfast, I believe extending the breakfast hours until 11 AM would enhance the overall guest experience.

Great little hotel! Staff as absolutely amazing, friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options. Great location close to waterfront with coffee shops, pharmacy’s subway lines etc very close by. Throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Elevators could use a service or upgrade. Both stopped working but have to say we’re promptly repaired considering it was a weekend , just a minor inconvenience for me even though I was on the 22nd floor but could have been a problem for someone with mobility issues. Still a wonderful stay.

The room I got was spacious and very quiet, even though at the front of the hotel. I could readily control the room temperature and appreciated having a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe, and large screen tv with a nice range of channels. The drawer storage was sufficient and bedding/pillows comfortable. And the free breakfast had more variety and better quality offerings than at many "chain" hotels where those are offered.

The bed was softer than I like, and the lighting in the room a little darker than I prefer. Most crucially, I object to the so-called "resort charge" of $15/night, beyond the rate cited. The hotel does have a very small basement fitness room and gives out free bottled water upon request, but when I spoke to the manager, she explained the fee was not really a "resort" fee but rather a "destination" fee required by the City of New York (varying by hotel depending on location). That sounds like a kind of city tax to me, and I think the hotel should just build that in AS a tax, if really required, and not call it a "resort" fee--which, since NO real amenities are connected to its mandatory payment, seems to me like a sneaky "junk fee."
