The location was excellent. Very centrally located, just 150 m from metro station and not far from bus and tram stations. Our appartment was very well equipped and clean. We had everything to prepare our breakfast and freshly baked bread and pastries were served every morning. The bed was very comfortable. Good wi fi. But, the most important is that the people working there were very friendly, willing to give information, offer a smile and a glass of wine! We thank them and we certainly will come back!

The location is fantastic. About a three minute walk to either Rossio Square (metro, trams) or the Placa do Comercio. One of the major pedestrian shopping / restaurant areas is literally the next street over. The staff is exceedingly helpful and attentive, also everyone spoke excellent English which was great. Check in time is 3pm,and it seems to be fairly firm, but they happily watched our bags when we arrived in the morning and had the bags delivered to our room by 5pm when we finally made it back from our first day of exploring the city. The do it yourself breakfast is fantastic and really suited us well. Bread, eggs, oranges for juice, assorted fruit, yogurt, granola and dry cereal each day. Housekeeping replaces the items you use each day so that you are fully stocked for the next. Also milk in the fridge and a espresso machine. There is an elevator which was very nice for moving our luggage and if we were too worn out at the end of the day - though after a day walking around Lisboa, what is another three flights of steps?! Hotel also can arrange a hotel shuttle back which is convenient. Taxi from the airport on the first day was 28 Euro (Feb 2023). We were glad to have done that instead of Metro, while the walk is short, it's cobblestones most of the way to the hotel. Could not recommend this hotel more. If we ever come back to Lisboa, we will certainly look here first. I wish that they had locations in other cities, as other hotels like the Dare Lisbon House would be a must.

Honestly everything was great. Some people might be bothered by the evening music. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the main pedestrian dining and shopping street. Each night, there were street performers playing music to the crowds. We loved standing on the balcony listening to the music as we settled down, but it does seem to go on until around 10 or 1030. One other thing that others might want to know, though it didn't bother us at all, is that the breakfast selection mostly stays the same each day. We weren't bothered by this even after five nights, but it's probably good to know this going in.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. The suite was comfortable and the bed very comfortable. I have recently had back surgery and did not want to be in a hilly area. The area was very good, convenient to everywhere we wanted to go or to the transport we needed to use. The breakfast arrangements were lovely, and the morning pastries delicious. The bathroom was great, and the coffee good. We avoided the Tuktuks and the 28 tram and did other very much less crowded and enjoyable things, all very close to the Dare Lisbon hotel.

Everything was as expected and we were happy.

The main reasons we chose this hotel were a great location and they had some one at reception 24 hours a day. They lined up a catamaran tour for us and a taxi to get us there, and ordered a taxi to the airport. The bed was comfortable, A/C worked great and there was plenty of hot water. The stocked the kitchen with breakfast items and brought fresh pastries to our door at 8AM. We usually ate the pastries in the morning and would have the eggs and cereal for another meal.

I would much prefer orange juice instead of oranges I needed to squeeze. I never squeezed, I just ate the orange. On our first day, they left 2 bananas, 2 kiwi and 2 pears. We ate the bananas the first day, I cut up the Kiwi the second day and it was not ripe enough to eat and I can not eat pears. I would have appreciated having my bananas restocked.

Location was close to everything! It is on a side street, one street over from the Main pedestrian Street of attraction leading to the Arch & water at one end and Rossio Square on the other. So the location was the best of both worlds — quiet yet also in the heart. Also the staff were absolutely amazing! They always provided what we needed and did it immediately. Since it is a boutique, you get personal service and it is staffed 24 hours a day. Which meant if at 11pm we needed something, all we needed to do was call down to the front desk and they provided it. The bed was comfortable. We had daily housekeeping and could exchange our towels whenever we wanted. We controlled the temperature in the room once we figured out the controls. There was an elevator to our room — no need to carry luggage up stairs. All in all, we definitely recommend Dare Lisbon House.

We were looking for a boutique hotel so we were happy.

Beautiful building. Wonderful room and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. They offered coffee, espressos and cappuccinos and wine for free in the beautiful hotel bar area and went above and beyond with providing suggestions on restaurants and activities. The location was central to everything so you can walk almost everywhere throughout Lisbon

The location was central to everything so it was convenient, however for us it was a bit noisy as there was loud singing every night outside our window at night. We would choose a more quiet less touristy street next time- maybe on a more charming quiet street. My adult son was offered drugs as right near the front of the hotel nightly(subtly and quietly as a guy passed and with a nod no they kept walking) However, the hotel and the staff was fantastic.

We really liked the location and the little apartment. We understood the concept of making your own breakfast and bought some extras, like cheese and meats to complement to our liking. Little bag with bread and sweets in the morning was very fresh always. We loved the oranges to make your juice fresh, very sweet and nice. Everyone working there was very helpful in recommending places to visit, restaurants for dinner and even making reservations for you. We enjoyed the wine offered and liked to engage in conversations with staff in the evenings, when returning from visiting beautiful Lisboa!

A very warm welcome from staff throughout the whole week we stay. Offered drinks, given suggestions & staff were helpful with any small queries we had. Centrally located hotel & close to hotspots and the metro. Would stay again

Only a small thing: the breakfast was a novelty but we stayed a week, so the novelty wore off a bit. e.g. doing the fresh oranges each day (would’ve preferred them done & left in the fridge) and the same small bread roll each morning (pastries had variety over a few days, which was good).

Dare Lisbon House is a perfect base for exploring Lisboa. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast items, including fruit, juice oranges and eggs were provided. In addition, fresh warm bread and pastries arrived at our door daily. An added delight was wine offered at the front desk in the evenings. Beyond all this, the hotel staff was outstanding. As an example, I left an item in the safe of my room. Tania was so helpful in arranging its return to me. She went above and beyond!

Really loved our stay here, the apartment was so clean and well thought out. We were also left a bottle of bubbly as we were celebrating our anniversary but we were so busy we didn’t get chance to drink it (thank you so much though). Staff were great, explaining everything in detail when we arrived over a glass of wine. When we checked out in the early hours the man on reception was so friendly and asking if we wanted coffee to go. Breakfast was also lovely, loved the pastries and ability to make our own juice. Would highly recommend.

Not necessarily the property but the area is very touristy so live music and events happen late into the evening which was quite nice but not for everyone.
