I liked the decor and ambience. The staff were very helpful when the airline lost our baggage and provided toiletries, and brought our first bag up to the room when it arrived. I really liked the food and drink station where we could buy snacks etc at an automated check out at any time. The breakfast was good and even when it was busy there was always somewhere to sit.

I didn't like the automatic check in and check out - it seemed very impersonal. The room was very dark, even with all the lights on - I had to sit right underneath a lamp to read. It would have been nice if there was a proper restaurant for evening meals.

The rooms are large and the facility is modern, clean, technology us used in a way that facilitates seamless flow and doesn't cause more problems, which is often the case. I design and implement hotel tech stacks for a living, and the self checkin and checkout process was very smooth. I only with the Television system was also a little more up to date, with smart TV abilities or at least the ability to change language.

The blackout curtains didn't actually cover the entire windows and when the sun comes up at 4:30 am it's nice to have a very dark room. The AC took two days to get down just 1 degree, the bathroom shower drain is very slow and we had to turn the water of halfway through a shower so as not to flood the bathroom. Room 451, I suggest cleaning the shower drain. We didn't get the breakfast included rate and the last day I had breakfast at the hotel. It was a good breakfast for an included breakfast, but not worth 21 Euros if you get it as an add on.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was rich with plenty of choices. The room size was satisfying for a family of four. The decoration of the hotel and the rooms was nice and quite cozy. The bathroom was spacious and clean.

The hotel is huge therefore in busy periods it gets quite crowded in the elevators and during breakfast. There is a lot of sitting space but still it is very crowded at the buffet. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice but the choices were very limited. The room was satisfying but the thin top mattresses were slipping of the bed very easily, interrupting the sleep. The extra upper bed had a slight inclination which was not comfortable to sleep on. The lighting in the room was nice for the sleep and for relaxation but not enough at times.

Good hotel in central location, within walking distance of bus and underground. Great buffet breakfast with wide selection. We would select this hotel for our next visit to Berlin.

Room temprature was a bit high. The temperature could not be lowered by the thermostat. The check in system was down at arrival due to a computerproblem. We and some 30 other guest had to wait for 1,5 hour before it was fixed, after we could check in. We were offered to have a drink in the bar in the meantime.

Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice and modern. Automated check in/out was an efficient touch, staff were usually around when needed though. Also the €15 for 24hr bike hire was easy to use and very convenient.

There wasn’t a lot of lighting in my room - lots of lamps but there wasn’t any option for brighter lights if needed. Housekeeping also kept removing the key card from the slot that gave the room power, which turned off the fridge while I was away. Also so real room service/ability to get things brought to your room, but at least you can easily get stuff downstairs to take back up.

Breakfast was a fantastic range of food for vegan and vegetarian. The room was spacious and stylish. The lounge area was a fantastic resource - we came back after a long day sightseeing and relaxed in the lounge ordering hot chocolates and coffees. My sister used the gym and we would have played table tennis but we ran out of time. The hotel very kindly looked after our luggage after we had checked out. This is a fantastic resource. The hotel also allowed us to check in early which made a huge difference. Everyone we spoke to was charming and kind and appreciated our efforts to speak a little bit of German. We were two minutes away from a very central bus stop. We were easily able to get in and out of the centre.

The duvet was too small for 2 people. It should be bigger than the top of the mattress. We thought we had paid for breakfast for our whole booking (2+1 people). It turned out that they had taken payment for only 2. This caused unnecessary hassle on the first morning. The room was way too hot. We needed instructions on how to turn it down. We ended up turning it off or opening the window, which is completely ridiculous in terms of energy.

* Decent location. Not that near to the most famous Berlin places, but in a good and quiet neighborhood * Comfy beds * Decent internet connection. However, you need to re-login quite often * Warm rooms * All basic check boxes are ticked

* Breakfast choices aren't bad, but can be better * "Innovative" self-check-in and self-check-out systems are a mess. It's hard to use on your own, so someone from the staff is helping you anyway. However, now they have no "reception", so it's harder to find someone who can help you. Online check-out simply doesn't work

We booked a superior room through Booking. Our plan was to stay in Berlin for three nights to visit Christmas markets, eat and sleep. The trip was a great success! The hotel is within walking distance from the Berlin zoo train station, where you can take a train to and from the airport. It is also close to Breitscheidplatz (which has a lovely christmas market this time of year) and lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. We used a hop on /off bus for our trip, to see as much of the city as we could. There is a stop right by the hotel! There is also a little lobby shop where you can buy toothbrushes, soda and candy. We think this hotel has the best breakfast buffet we have ever seen, so much to choose from and everything looked amazing. We also felt such warmth from the staff, it seemed like they all love working there. Even the chefs at the breakfast buffet said hello and smiled to us. Probably our best hotel stay, I have already recommended the hotel to everyone I know.

Great location! Bus number 100 will take you pretty much anywhere, a 1 minute walk from the hotel ! Breakfast was pretty good with a good schedule range which allows you to go earlier or a bit later if needed. Good variety of food and healthy options Room was pretty spacious and clean and water heating was on point

Check in didn’t work that well. While automation is good it makes no sense having someone there full time because the software doesn’t work as intended. As a UE citizen I couldn’t fill the ID number by myself. Ordered a big bed and ended up with twin beds instead while it is not a big deal it wasn’t what I reserved
