The pool, the SPA, the restaurant, the bathroom of the room.

Some rooms (maybe the ones sold here) face the street (very noisy), or the room with the tables of the dining room. Our room was above the kitchen, facing the dining room, with no real sunlight. We had to keep the blinds closed during our stay so people eating wouldn't see us.

Hotel Casareyna is an oasis of art and beauty in the marvelous historic center of Puebla. The restaurant is excellent ... breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff of both the hotel and restaurant are helpful, kind, and very professional. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The rooms are beautifully furnished with hand-made furniture and rugs. The pictures on the hotel web site are lovely, but the hotel is even better in person. We would happily stay her again if we are lucky enough to return to Puebla.

We can think of nothing that needs improvement.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel in excellent location. We had delicious breakfasts and two dinners in the restaurant. Our room was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. We were on the third floor, and had no noise from the ground floor restaurants and conference areas. The window of the room looks out onto the hallway, but there is a very good shade on it, so privacy is ensured. From the rooftop, you have a nice view of the city, including the volcano on clear mornings. We would definitely recommend and come to stay again.

The restaurant and conference facilities are very well known, and sometimes the place was quite chaotic. The last morning for example, we had to make our way through crowds of guests from two different outside parties. The hotel provides a nespresso machine and only offers complimentary capsules on the first day. After that you need to pay. I thought that was rather chintzy- hotels who offer coffee in the room generally offer one set-up per day included. A small fridge in the room would be nice. Bathroom is not very well lit for doing make-up. My room had just an old fashioned makeup mirror while my friend's room had a plug in makeup mirror but it didn't work.

The decor is absolutely beautiful!

It’s kind of like staying at an airbnb as there is hardly any interaction with the staff. There are plenty of staff they just don’t ask if you need anything. We spent afternoons at the pool and no one ever came to offer a drink. There are plenty of tables scattered around and plenty of space in beautiful courtyards but no one around. There is no bar although you can have a pre dinner drink at a table at entrance of restaurant but the tables appear jammed into a waiting space. Strangely as there is so much courtyard space throughout.

The Spa was awesome, so friendly people, we had a very good massage - they took very good care of us. The breakfast was very good, very friendly staff and good food.

We arrived late but just in time, the restaurant was still open - but it was with great difficulty that they took our order. Than we got the wrong food.. just put a deadline for orders and provide good service before this deadline and make guests feel welcome. one morning was not very quiet, somebody used a circular saw at 8 in the morning next to our room.. not very holiday like. It only stopped after some time when we asked the reception.. just do such shores during the day and not in the early morning..?

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, with a large shower stall. The decor, especially the furniture, was modern yet warm and inviting. The rooftop hot tub was terrific. Check-in was quick and friendly.

There could have been more lighting by the beds, and additional soundproofing around the door is needed to muffle the hallway sounds, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

Restaurant food extraordinary, service of the staff was also top quality, the locations was walking distance to most of what we wanted to see in the historic center. In general everything was great, but food, location and staff were top of the line.

my room was very large and confortable, same as the bathroom, what I didn't like was that the window of my bedroom was towards an interior courtyard with not much privacy, we had the curtains down most of the time. It wasn't a big problem.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, excellent location, ambiance, friendly staff.

We were disappointed in the restaurant. Service was slow, stingy with the alcohol in the drinks and our food arrived cold. We were also amused by the bathrobes provided. My wife took a shower and put one on and nearly died laughing. The were so small that they would barely have fit an adolescent, much less a full-sized adult. Hotel really needs to provide some larger bathrobes. Also, the shower head in our room really needed maintenance and we wondered whether other rooms were the same. The shower head was so plugged that little water came out where needed. Instead, it sprayed all over in ever direction except where you wanted it.

The place was great. Soft yet firm bed, luxury sheets, huge shower with plenty of hot water. Great restaurant. Quiet with air con!

It’s not really far but when you’re in town for one or one and a half days, I’d suggest a little closer to the center. It’s a bit louder of course, but being able to quickly head to the hotel after a long day of walking…with no rest… would have been ideal.
