Homely, welcoming, accommodating. The two landlords were very friendly.

There were a few areas for improvement. The washbasin stand needed pairing and the ledge the cabinet stood on was very dusty. The shower plug cover needs replacing. The radiator was falling off the wall and the bedside cabinet was stained with mug. Provide some coasters. Tea shelf was too high. Wardrobe needs painting. I understand these are new managers so in time all these little things will be dealt with I am sure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Arden House NEC and I must say it was a beautiful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home.

Arrived after check in time of 10pm due to issues with travel disruption but was in touch with property and they had no issue stopping a bit later to let me in which was very good of them. Room was comfortable and good value for money. Easy to get to airport.

Would have liked opportunity for breakfast, even if paid. Maybe need to arrange in advance as only mentioned when I arrived after 10pm to check in.

Fab looking room, very comfy bed, quiet area, there was free parking too if needed. Proprietors were lovely.

Breakfast was minimal. Was not offered a choice of white or brown bread for toast. There were no preserves or yogurts offered. Two things to note: quite steep set of stairs up to rooms, also the accommodation is further out than we understood set within a residential area (not within walking distance of the nearest train station) but taxis and ubers are reliable enough if you havnt a car.

A friendly welcome and easy check-in, the room was spacious, clean and modern with all the usual hotel amenities. The en-suite was large and looked very new. Breakfast was freshly cooked, perfect poached eggs. The owners are very friendly and approachable.

A blind on the en-suite window would have made me feel more comfortable and the shower head wasn't easily adjustable, only small things that weren't a huge issue but would have made my stay 10/10.

Location is great, really close to the airport, and still in a very quiet area, rooms look like they could use a bit of maintenence. But considering it looks like it's run by maybe 3 people at most, they have done a good job keeping it up. I've had worse experiences at large hotel chains. The man who initially greeted me upon arrival was kind of abrasive in the short time I interracred with him, flipped out about covid when I was simply attempting to hear him more clearly. I was very exhausted from a long flight, and would have appreciated it if he was a bit more understanding or simply didn't over-react. The older woman who ran the morning shift was very friendly though and cooked a nice hot breakfast, very good tea as well. I also appreciate the fact they were fine with such a late check in due to my flight getting a 10 hour delay and it was easy to communicate this with them via text.

All was very comfortable and welcoming. We had a very early flight the next morning so had no chance to enjoy the breakfast etc. Our car is at the site and we have paid to leave it. This was good value in comparison with airport parking, even factoring in the cost of a taxi to the airport. The taxi was arranged by our host and came on time at the ungodly hour of 5 a.m.

The accommodation was absolutely lovely. Not an issue for us but the nearest place for getting supper was approximately 20 minutes walk away. Good enough choices when we got there and we ate in but our host said that we could bring food back if we so chose.

Easy access to airport and able to park car during holiday. Warm welcome Clean room altho bathroom was a bit tired. Bed was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee most welcome. Ideal for our short night before flight Given details of taxi company who arrived to take us to airport at 2.45 as booked

the room was really nice , lovely comfy bed . pillows etc. everything was clean in the room. the host Roger was super friendly. so very helpful . dropped us at our location for our evening out & picked us up afterwards. even made us a lovely sandwich when we got back . nothing was too much trouble for him.

the cooked breakfast was not great, a bit of a let down tbh. would have preferred a nice continental breakfast . no decaf coffee either .

there was a strip of carpet in our room that was a trip hazard and we only had a towel between us (however I am sure we could have requested another).
