Beautiful hotel, clean, good food, friendly staff.

Poor entertainment throughout the day and evening. The additional booking restaurants, we visited the Dolce Vita and ended up walking out, exact same but even less food offered compared to main restaurant, still had to go get all our own drinks etc and serve up our own food which was exactly same food as restaurant but less. So we never booked any other of the additional restaurants as didn’t see the difference to just going to main one.

So many exceptional things. We were visiting for our anniversary and are so happy we chose to stay here. Staff was beyond amazing like many have said. Very clean everywhere. The food was wonderful with plenty of variety and slight differences each night even if you eat at the same restaurant. A really nice variety of entertainment for all ages through each day. Great bar options and one is 24h. We had a family room and it was the perfect amount of space. Having the extra room for putting our daughter in her crib at night was a big plus.

The pools close at 630 each night. Which is understandable all things considered but some evening swimming would be nice if only at one pool.

Great staff, very clean, good food. We are going to go there again.

I would have want the air-conditioning to go lower. It was like to be stuck in 22°C in stead of go to 18°C. Other than that, we where wery happy with our stay at the hotel

Beautiful newly refurbished resort with spectacular restaurants, view and rooms. Staff were always friendly in every single area that we have entered in: fron the reception to the bar, restaurants, maintanence. Food was vers tasty and always can eat something that you like. We will definetely come back as it was exceeding our expectations for the price that we have payed!

The only thing they could work on is the snack variation for the in between lunch and dinner time as we are a healthy family, we could not select any fruits or vegetables during the in between snack times. I wish there would be choice to have fresh things instead of a hamburger or a hot-dog, which we understand might be a kitchen budget thing, but putting out just a few apples and bananas could not be such an issue. Hopefully management will realize to make this amendment and extend the cost of per person budget in the restaurant area.

It was mentioned that the pools are heated They were not! Cold water, however the weather was hot so it was ok The towels in room are brown, doesnt give the clean feeling of white towels The food is really not at the standards Everything is super over cooked Repeated from one counter to another and between the restaurants, food was 6 out of 10 very average No spa and sauna

I loved the room- we had a family room, separate room for kids and for us, lots of space, modern design, very clean and comfortable, with huge terrace. Handy quantity of sockets and USB ports. We had a room on 3rd level, where the stage and a main restaurant is, it was a great location for someone with small kids, as we didn’t have to use a lift and the pool was right outside our terrace. So many pools to choose from! we loved the infinity pool the most. Staff was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful- housekeeping, reception, waiters, all very polite, always with a smile, my daughter loved the kids club staff. Kids club had different activities each day and every session was very enjoyable, my 4.5 yo loved it. Food was excellent, great variety each day. We originally planned to stay 6 nights in Riu Buenavista, and then move to neighbouring hotel- Roca Nivaria, which is a 5 star hotel. After spending one day in Roca we cancelled our stay there and returned to Riu, it was simply better! Better food variety, everything new and well designed, so it was super easy to move around with small kids; toilets, drinks, snacks, entertainment, all within a few steps. Roca Nivaria for comparison was worn and tired looking, food wasn’t really up to 5 star standard and there was barely any kids entertainment.

If I really have to find something I didn’t like it was the beige colour of bathroom towels. I’d prefer them white. Also a glass panel between the bathroom and a second bedroom wasn’t my favourite feature. When kids were asleep and someone wanted to use bathroom, there was light coming into kids bedroom, however it didn’t bother them at all.

Personal, food, and entertainment - are excellent. The territory of the hotel is super clean. Do not rush to book Asian (Mandalay) or Italian (Dolce Vita) restaurants... The best choice of food is at the ordinary restaurant called Yaiza. The best ocean view is at the "Atlantico" restaurant. Also, there is amazing grilled food for dinner.

No negative sides.

Everything was clean and tidy, the staff were very attentive and the animation activities were fun. The swimming pools were pristine. Rooms were big, with good mattresses and nice decoration.

The food can be improved. The quality is low and there aren't many options for vegetarians or vegans.

Breakfast was always great, in fact, all meals were! Great place to simply relax and have a great time! All activities were superb. The staff was always helpful.

Arranging taxis for big groups (2 x 8) was not that easy.

It would be great if they will have a kid playground, not just the baby pools. They have more restaurants, one of them buffet, another ones reservation only. We thought if we will go to the italian restaurant, reservation only, we will order on the menu, but, we realized that it was buffet also.
