The breakfast was great, it had a homemade feeling. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is great, both for approaching from the motorway as well as for approaching using the local road to Trieste.

Separating hotel reception from the chip-selling counter would be a good investment. My family and I, standing in line with the luggage and the cat, got some strange looks from Casino customers... I mean, it is not a big deal, I found it a bit funny.

Casino & Hotel ADMIRAL in Kozina has spacious rooms with all the necessary comforts. Breakfast is very good for those who like to start the day with a consistent meal. The hotel's restaurant offers a choice of dishes to suit all tastes (see picture of tomahwak). The hotel has a very large car park and an excellent connection to the Ljubljana-Koper/Trieste motorway. This is an address to note for both business and holiday. Sure we 'll come back.

Location was great, lots of parking, room spacious and clean, very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again next time in the area. Two supermarkets a couple of minutes walk away. Most staff very friendly and helpful, especially the young man in the restaurant.

The blonde lady at reception was cold, dismissive and unfriendly. Waited standing for nearly ten minutes to check in while she was on personal call. Then never smiled or greeted us when we saw her. Very disappointing. Coffee at breakfast from machine was too sweet, not used to having sugar in coffee. But will still come back.

Nice and friendly staff on the reception, very quick check-in, I got a key for my room in a minute, maybe two. Room was comfortable, shower pressure was great, sleeping quality ok. Breakfast maybe a little modest, but more than ok with enough of choices, also vegetarian, for a good start of the day. There is a huge parking space in front of hotel free of charge. This hotel is a perfect choice for a short stay.

When I explained i had a non Tesla vehicle that needed charging, i was directed to the Tesla chargers! The non-Tesla chargers are on the autoroute...AND DO NOT FORGET TO BUY A VINGETTE BEFORE DRIVING ON THE AUTOROUTE ...even for the 500-750 m to get there. Police sit at the exit from the station and fine you 150 euros!! There are no signs. It is a trap for tourists.

value for money here is superb. This is our second stay at Admiral. Hotel is 15min drive from any seaside city, which means you are far from any noise, but still close enough to reach all beaches you might want :) They have few times more parking spaces then the hotel actually needs. everything is super clean, staff helped us with all special requests (baby cot, dinner in the room, access to a conference room etc)

waiters in the dinning area are overstressed which meant they weren't as polite as you might expect, but overall it was ok. Since we visited both times in the summer, temps were very high and there is no shade where you could park your car... a bit inconvenient but not a major problem

The staff couldn't do enough for us. Danjiela especially goes far and behond. All the restaurant staff super kind, prompt, polite. Excellent and vast menu, super portions of quality food. Felt like royalty!

The rooms could do with a little more facilities, a fridge, shampoo, shower gel. Little things.

Booked this on the way to Trieste from Ljubljana and it was very comfortable for what we needed, which was a good night sleep.

They don’t have an elevator, so you need to carry your bags up the stairs. The ladies at the reception don’t seem very happy to be working there.

The hotel is ideally located near the motorway and Italian border. The rooms were spacious and clean. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was tasty and good value for money.

There was no lift, which we found surprising for a hotel like this. All staff members we encountered except one were rude, surly and unhelpful. The only helpful person was the guy on breakfast duty.
