Breakfast was good, they had 2 types of sausages (Beef & pork), bacon, beans, mushrooms, (sometimes hash browns, mince, liver) tomatoes and then a chef ready for your egg order (omelettes etc). Fresh fruit salad and a variety of cereals. Some baked items like muffins, breads (incl health types) and pastries. Fresh water always available! Juices (not freshly squeezed). Overall it was good but my only comment is that there could be more variety for the hot meals from day to day. Maybe a mushroom dish that is not a creamy version. The staff are awesome! Special mention of a gentleman named Cyprian who was awesome. Cleaning staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was a burst pipe so they were trying to fix the water but they made sure we had options and even offered us to shower in another room that afternoon. Also, the town had power outages but the resort made sure to switch on their backup power and thus they handled this very well. Some mistakes with food orders but the staff are eager to correct any mistakes and the food was tasty and mostly good with some meals being excellent. Overall the value provided at this hotel was exceptional so i give them 10/10 for price versus product.

The estate is truly a hidden gem on the South Coast. The golf course and club house by the beach are just perfect. Perfectly manicured lawns and golf course. We were a group of vegetarians and the staff went the extra mile to cater for us, these small gestures will make me a repeat guest. The beds were presented really nice and it gave me peace of mind when sleeping. The front desk, dining and security staff are really good people, took care of our needs and were efficient.

The facilities have an old charm to it but there are tiny little things that need attention/updating. I booked three rooms, and personally stayed in 33 which I couldn't find a working A/C with remote, the patio door didn't lock, the shower door was misaligned and didn't lock, the towels didn't look very clean. I didn't complain to front desk as we were overall happy with the hotel and it was a one night stay and constructive criticism will help management.

Good location, nice large room with great view of golf course fairway, cleverly sited to maximise feeling of privacy from neighbouring guests. Ample, safe on-site parking at no extra charge. Accommodating general manager apologised for slightly early closing kitchen on my late-ish arrival, but went out of his way to provide a suitable alternative, and we agreed a fruit salad which was promptly delivered to my room at no charge, thank you. Very comfortable bed, good supply of mini toiletries and bottled water. Tasty breakfast in nicely located restaurant.

Tiled bathroom a little bit tired and showing its age. Lack of pathway and external lighting in the immediate vicinity of my room was inconvenient and required holding own iPhone torch light and supervising luggage at the same time on my after-dark arrival. Service at breakfast restaurant painfully slow and understaffed with only one person shuttling between dining room and kitchen serving between half a dozen guests occupying four tables.

The quiet place, the space of the room, the nature around the hotel, the structure of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, efficient and professional, the breakfast was generous and very good. The spa is very good too.

The bathroom air vent sensor in our room was too noisy and sensitive. Even if we were passing in front the door closed, it was activated, which could be a bit irritating.

Very charming old world hotel in a beautiful setting. We loved sipping cocktails in their very comfortable lounge. Breakfast was also a delight. We were happy with the choice of either the clubhouse or the restaurant for dinner. Both were well priced.

We were in Rooms 61 and 62 which was at the end of the property close to the maintenance area. This meant we heard a constant buzz from the pool pump and other mechanical noises. Don't book these 2 rooms! We now know better for our next visit!

The place it self was tops ,food was delicious and drinks at the bar were reasonable in terms of prices especially the cocktails . The place is safe and peaceful ... The most thing that will make me to visit the place again ,it is the staff ..There were most friendly ... Thank you very much ❤️

Mmm... the quality of wifi was very poor .. There was no heater in the room so it wasn't enoughly warm .. I was have to sleep even if I didn't want to .

From The Shuttle drive with Jay to picking up my Aunt on the way to the Hotel the tone was set, smiles, chats, music, it was a great introduction to Selborne Hotel!! On arrival our Rooms Keys were allocated and we were escorted down through the beautiful fountains, pathways and foliage that lined the pathway to our rooms. My Aunt had just had her knee replaced, so all safety measures that we asked to be put were dealt with swiftly and a empty space for a coffee machine, was filled immediately with awesome complimentary capsules, truly delicious and very welcome after a long journey!!! The Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was ever to much trouble, everything was fresh including beautiful fruit salads, pastries, and personalised orders of eggs, bacon, omelettes or pouched eggs were served with a smile. Caffe Latte's were delivered with a smile. Fresh Juices were on tap. The Waitrons were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble ever! Our Rooms looked onto the perfectly manicured Golf Course, but with enough privacy to be able to sit on your balcony and just relax. Gowns and slippers were provided for guests to make use of when visiting the SPA area, which was run by 2 of the most Beautifully Souled Women who radiated peace and caring, which created a relaxed environment to have a massage or get your nails done. My Aunt could not walk upstairs in the Main Reception where the SPA was situated, so I asked specially if one of them would come down with me to massage my Aunt in her room please, and huge credos to the Spa staff as without hesitation, one of the staff volunteered and came down to my Aunt's Room and gave her her very 1st Massage. It was truly a blessing for my Aunt, and I bought her the Spa's very own Healing Massaging Cream, which she let me know that she has just finished the cream and loved it! The Food was outstanding, especially the Fish and Chips Room Service, outstanding! The Pool was a refreshing treat, full bar and treats.

Whilst reading through the information of the Hotel, I understood that the Hotel had their very own beach which we could walk down to, but in actual fact there is a beautiful private beach, however you need a car to drive down to the beach, it is just too far to walk. We would have liked to have known that upfront as we had planned to walk to the beach during our stay.

The breakfast mainly and food at the clubhouse restaurant. Ow and Buyi from the spa gave us such a great service. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Staff that served breakfast were exceptionally good. All the staff at reception were super welcoming and very friendly.

Lunch at the restaurant. Menu was sandwiches and salad so we opted for the club house restaurant.

Exceptional service from the staff

Noise makers No hot water inconsiderate guests who do not respect that they in a public space - the smoking of weed should definitely be a NO as well as guests coming in at 4am and dragging luggage and making noise is not something we look forward to as we wanted peace and quite

Beautiful property, great breakfast selection and really nice trail on the property.

We booked the garden suite, the key did not unlock the door onto the patio so we had to leave the room and walk around and we expected a more secluded garden. The garden suite view is other suits around it. But the room was great and ticked all the boxes
