The location of the hotel is spectacular. The view is stunning. Everything is super clean. Every evening you have a show to keep you entertained, and it's pretty great. Staff is incredibly helpful and makes you feel incredibly comfortable and welcome, and it feels genuine:) Special thanks to Leah and Andres who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. Wonderful place, will be returning again 🥰

Great location near the city of Alcala, with the beach nearby, and beautiful walkable surroundings. Great pools in the hotel, nice sports facilities (good gym and tennis courts), attentive and helpful staff, good food for breakfast and in the restaurants, the hotel territory has a lot of trees and greenery. Our room with the terrasse on the ground floor was clean, comfortable and had a great view. We also had several nice bonuses such as a free one-hour apero in the afternoon, free snacks and coffee throughout the day, a free tennis session and discounts for spa.

There are queues at the restaurants, especially at breakfast times (the situation is better for RedLevel-only facilities, but in common facilities the queues are way too long to be ignored). The sunbeds at the RedLevel pool were often occupied with empty towels from early morning, which was not regulated in any way. There were not enough spots to fit all the guests, so we had to go to common pool area quite often.

Very nice complex, with wonderful breakfast, very good service, daily “open bar” between 17:00 and 18:00, all day free water and tea. Plenty of helpful staff around, very comfortable sunbeds, multiple restaurant options inside and outside the hotel.

The “adult only” hotel is part of a bigger complex that does allow children, and if you use facilities of the full complex, you might run into families. All restaurants require reservation. The acoustics and the sound quality of the entertainment around the main square was not so good (very loud, in a stone+glass environment) which is not nice for diner in one of the restaurants there (there are also restaurants further away in the complex where it is much more quiet). When we were there, there was a red flag waving on the beaches: swming was forbidden, even though the weather was not that extreme.

Very nice room, lots of space and a good shower. Big wardrobes and sufficient storage. Bed and pillows were comfy and I sometimes very well. Several pools and fairly well kept gardens with lovely plants, flowers and sculptures. As a red level guest, you have access to everywhere whereas other guests must stick to the family / general areas. Clarins spa - both staff and treatment - were excellent. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.

The red level club pool has all sunbeds reserves by towels early in the morning, by 9 latest, I never found a place to sit there so wondered what I was paying for (except for breakfast in a nicer part). I asked staff and they said yes, it’s a problem but what can we do. People would leave towels on beds for hours and not be there… I ended up always sitting by the adults only pool in the main complex, which anyway (except kids) can go to. I could just about find room there except the last day. The one time I found a place at the ‘club’ it was on a Balinese daybed and I was told they are extra and have to be reserved. The food is also not good. Oasis bar meal (turbot at 32 euros) was awful, steak and Asian restaurants better but not amazing food. I never tried the main family restaurant …

We spent a week in the adults only section (Red Level) and it was wonderful and very relaxing. Staff was very helpful and tried to meet all needs. The endless pool is amazing and there are good sports classes and a good fitness center. The beach area was also very nice and I like the little café there for lunch. Our room was very spacious and quiet. The restaurants are good but you have to book in advance. The terrace for the sundowner is nice and there was good music.

The village where the hotel is located is very small and it is best to have a car in case you would like to explore more from the island. You need to plan ahead and make reservations for most restaurants - also the ones that are in the village.

Loved this property, we had the red level stay, we had 3 days without the kids so it was great, really nice staff lovely rooms, first time at a melia hotel and would highly recommend, I have been trying to find a high level hotel on Tenerife as it can be quite untidy, this hotel made you feel like you was in Dubai. We did travel in mid December so was very quiet so probably a different experience to most.

Price of the wine in the restaurants, a £8 bottle was 80 euro in the Italian, one meal was amazing the other meal not so good.

This is a beautiful hotel and the Red Level adults only experience was excellent. From check-in to check-out everything ran smoothy as it should at a 5 star resort. The staff are ALL excellent, polite and friendly but not obsequious in any way. The heated pool was a bonus we were not expecting but lovely to have in March. We enjoyed the Happy-Hour drinks and apreciated all day coffee /water and soft drinks as included. There are lots of sunbeds in the adults only area so there was no stress finding a spot to sunbathe in. Breakfast was very good. We didnt try the hotel restaurants as prefer to eat in smaller local restaurants, there are 3 towns within a 10 euro taxi ride so that was easy to do. We would love to go back !

Our stay was amazing, from arrival to departure. Everything was great. The stuff really really friendly, especially Mohammed, he was always smiling and in such a good mood (everyday!!) he also made me smile when I was so sad when we had to checkout. Big compliments! ❤️ Tip: go to the big breakfast arrea, there you find a big selection of food in the morning (fresh churros, fresh smoothies & fruit, eggs etc).

Beautiful setting, spacious room with great extras such as a decent hairdryer, lots of plugs & mirrors, huge comfortable bed & big bathroom/walk in shower etc. The pool was warm as a bath and so lovely to relax. No loud music, perfect. Always plenty of sun beds. The staff were friendly, professional & nothing was too much effort for them. Loved the free snacks & drinks in the afternoons. Breakfast in the Oasis restaurant every morning was a treat. Lots of choice. The hotel was a short walk from Alcalá town which has a couple of amazing places to eat (we only booked breakfast as we like to eat in different places). Perfect holiday.

The phone right next to the loo in our bathroom was a bit annoying as it kept falling onto the floor! No idea why it was there!

Everything about this hotel Is amazing. You can clearly see why it is 5 stars. The all inclusive is AMAZING there are 8 restaurants in total and if you book the red level theres a beautiful french restaurant included where you get everything from steak to duck and more. The drinks were gorgeous you could ordered different flavours and even request the cocktails to be served Frozen. The staff were beyond amazing they would go above and beyond to help you with anything. I can't speak highly enough of this resort. We went for our honeymoon and want to to back every few years. The red level is adults only but you so get families on the other part of the resort so if you are going as a couple I reccomend the red level as you have access to the adult only pools. We had a massage and spa morning too which was just beautiful the spa facilities are amazing.

Nothing. The place is amazing if you are looking for a quiet destination. It is out of the touristy area so i would say its more for couples but they do have shops a couple of minutes walk away
