This is a terrific hotel in a central position. The area is slightly dodgy and a bit grimy. There is a fantastic pizza restaurant within a two minute walk and plenty of cafes, bars and a supermarket close by. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable.

The only downside of this hotel is that you are allowed to smoke inside your room providing you have an outside balcony and you smoke on the balcony. We are non smokers and constantly had the strong smell of smoke in our room and in our corridor. We reported this to the very nice staff member. Sadly the issue wasn’t resolved and we continued to have smoke in our room for the two nights we stayed. The room that was close to us that had a smoker stuffed paper under their door in an effort to stop the smoke escaping into the hallway and our room but it didn’t work. I really don’t like smoking inside a hotel.

The space is not so modern and well-decorated, but it's decent since I don't care much about the decor. I prioritize sleeping and showering before going out. The lady at the reception was so nice; she upgraded my room. Originally, I had a room with an inner courtyard view that was tight, with workers making a lot of noise. She upgraded me to a room with a balcony and city view, which was much better. I recommend always booking a room with a balcony. The location is exceptional, close to everything within walking distance. My only disappointment was the absence of a minibar in the room. Since I have allergies, I usually keep my food during trips. However, the receptionist provided me with space in a shared fridge in the lobby, so it was not ideal but manageable. Overall, my stay was very good, especially considering the price I paid. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time.

Every time I visit Madrid I stay here, you can't find a better location, close to almost every tourist attraction. The only thing it lacks: a tourist hustle and bustle. Authentic bars and restaurants without “tourist tax”, small grocery stories, laundromats, everything is a few steps away. The staff is super friendly, the price is reasonable, and the Wi-Fi speed is the best I have ever experienced in any hotel around the world. If you want to feel real Madrid, to become a part of this magic city I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Rooms were lovely and spacious, great shower and bathroom area. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful reception staff, smooth checking in on line before arrival. Comfortable, relaxing lounge area with coffee machine and drinks machine. Luggage storage. The hotel is located in a quiet side street near Gran Via and all that Madrid offers. (First impression was we'd hit the red light district! but we were not hassled and felt safe at all times). Just a turn left out of the hotel and a few streets down was an area of small shops and bars, a completely different feel to the bustling tourist areas. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Excellent value for the price. Best location in town. Located a few meters away from la Gran Via, one of Madrid's main avenues, and a walking distance from some of the city's main attractions. Also, very close to three metro stations with access to some of the main subway lines.

This hotel is located in a street where sexual workers have offered their services for many years in Madrid. This means you will find prostitutes in the street outside of the hotel.

Great location, few blocks away from Gran Via, with metro, buses and taxis near by, as well as many shops, cafés and attractions. Very clean, and quiet. The staff were helpful, contacted me before arrival and you can leave your luggagge after check out.

In general very well, it would e great if they had breakfast or snack service.

Cleanness was commendable. As promised the taxi to the airport was arranged.

Felt little uncomfortable walking on that street alone, especially late at night. But no incident happened On the website I requested a shuttle from the airport but never follow up question were asked. Therefore arranged my own transportation

Great location for being able to walk to lots of tourist sites and museums within about 20 minutes or under and close to Metro stations . Lots of bars and places to eat around too. Hotel staff were pleasant and efficient and the hotel itself is very clean. Our double room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Small lift to rooms if needed and a pleasant shared lounge area near the reception with papers and a vending machine. Safe in the room.

The room would benefit from a new coat of paint just to brighten it up but, as we had booked in advance, we had a very good rate and were more than happy with it.

The bathroom was very clean as well as the room. Location was very good, close to the metro station and close to everything in city center.

The street feels a bit unsafe because there are loads of sex workers along the street approaching men and it could be a bit scary at night but so far nothing happened to us.

Clean, quiet, reasonably priced and close to the center of town. Staff was helpful though not what I would consider cheerful. There is a rudimentary business center and a small lobby/seating area

Definitely not fancy, no views and small rooms, and a bit of a sketchy street but very adequate for a place to sleep.
