A wonderful return to the old times, fitness to the fourth floor by beautiful wooden stairs. Absolutely fabulous location in the heart of the old town. As expected, I was exceptionally satisfied, for the combination of sightseeing and attending a football match at the Bernabeu stadium an excellent choice. Next time I will choose the same again.

The location was perfect, it is close to all the main sites to visit in the city center of Madrid, I had a 3-day pass to use the public transport, but it was not needed to be used, as I could walk to all the spots, thanks to how close they were, I think the room was really good in terms of quality-price, it was well cleaned and had a comfortable bed, Additionally it is worth to mention, that i is really easy to get there from the airport, either by Bus, Metro or Train. I personally took the Metro and it was really easy to get to the Sol Metro Station and from there walk to the CH Plaza D'Ort Rooms.

The only two things to mention could be is, that if you are expecting a great view from it, probably the room I was assigned is not an option, but if you are not expecting this, and you want to use the room mainly for sleeping-in and to rest, I think it is perfectly okay. but something to be aware of is that the building has no elevator, which is perfectly okay, understanding that it is an old building and probably regulations nor space, does not allow the construction of it.

La ubicacion was great, there was no elevator and had to go up 3 floors with big suitcases and another thing the room had no airconditioning in working condition we had a fan in the room

going up 3 floors to get to my room and the office, other than that the place was great

the cleaners did a fantastic job - everything was always spotless, including shared bathroom, location is great and room was nice :)

no one helped me with my massive suitcase up the stairs, even when reception checked me in - I also don't remember having read that there was no lift & I needed to lug my suitcase up around 6 flights of stairs!! Some of the younger guests on the same floor were increibly noisy and had no consideration for anyone else - it was very peaceful without them

It was so nice , the room was clean and so quiet the place of the hotel so close to sol and plaza mayor even around the hotel u can found a lot of restaurants and coffee to stay in , the stuff was so nice and helpful i like it so much and if i come again to Madrid i will take it again

They don’t have elevator it was hard for bags and for coming and going

The location is amazing. It's really convenient to stay here for a few nights. The personal is really nice, they speak very good English and there's a 24 hour reception.

There's not a lot of space in the room to pack the luggage. It's hard to get fresh air in

The location of the Plaza was very convenient. It was near to mainly all the major sights in Madrid which were easily accessible by foot. The room was very comfy and it was quite at night. The bathroom had all the necessary items available.

There was no lift in the building due to which it was difficult to take your luggage to second floor.

Great location, great rooms. Staff we're brilliant when there was a leak in the bathroom and immediately changed me to another. Definitely stay here again.

My room was very clean, the shower had good pressure, and the staff including the cleaning ladies was super nice.

Even though it is in the description, I was surprised how small the room really was. The internet connection was occasionally patchy.

The room, which I booked originally for 5 nights, was very small, outdated and noisy (could hear every single person walking by - all night). The staff was very nice and allowed me to change rooms - I moved to a different place after first night. Then everything was alright! Location was amazing - a few minutes walk to most central locations!
