This is a beautiful hotel, stunningly located on the Plaza Santa Ana, which is really central for Madrid life (both sightseeing and eating / drinking). It is a very modern hotel, sensibly setup with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. There is a lovely rooftop bar which I would highly recommend for views across Madrid. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Plaza which was quite stunning (although noisy - see below). The room itself was a little small, but was clean, modern and bright and big enough for our five day stay, and had everything you needed to be comfortable and well looked after. The bed was a really good size (super king I think) and comfortable - although the pillows were lumpy. It was really nice of the hotel to mark my partner's special birthday with cake and a bottle of very nice cava - those kind of little touches make a hotel extra special in my opinion. All in all, this hotel was an excellent choice for a short break in Madrid. I would definitely stay here again.

The reasons I didn't give this hotel a full 10: - "plug sockets by the bed" - only on one side (and of course, my side didn't have one!), this is a pet peeve of mine - nowhere in the room to plug in hairdryer/straighteners where I could sit by a mirror. In fact no sockets near any mirror either. Another pet traveller peeve. Another downside, although not exactly the hotel's fault (and not one I marked them down for), was that while the location was amazing, and the view from our balcony stunning, it meant that it was really noisy at night and did wake us up / keep us awake quite often. But that is a calculated risk when getting a room with a balcony I suppose!

great location, strategically located to the center. Plenty of food place nearby. A few minutes away from SOL metro station. Great Room with balcony overlooking Plaza de Santa Ana, comfortable bed and great staff specifically to the lady who assist us during our Check-in last April 26 (unfortunately i was not able to get her name) but her attitude is really commendable, very polite, accommodating and helpful. The smile on her face while assisting us gives me the real feel of warm welcome. Kudos to her. To sum it up, it was really a great experience staying at ME Madrid. Highly recommended.

Very centrally located. Incredibly friendly staff on arrival (Helen was so welcoming!). Room we had which was a “standard” room overlooking the courtyard was quiet, large for a standard and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable! We chose as well for the roof top bar which we really enjoyed - great cocktails.

Only small criticism- we went twice to the roof-top bar. The staff clearly did not recognise us on the second evening, which was disappointing (the same hostess who found us a table the first night asked us if we were hotel guests the second night - bizarrely once we were shown a table we had to not only go to the bar to order, pay, we had to bring our own cocktails back to our tables. Never experienced this before at a 4+ hotel before. But apart from that everything was great and we will almost certainly come back again!

The location was extraordinary. In the center of the city and located on plaza Santa Ana. We walked everywhere because almost all museums and sights were walking distance. Our room was beautiful with large windows overlooking the square. The bedding and bed were wonderful and the shower was very powerful. We appreciated the robes and slippers and complimentary wooden toothbrushes. There was a large closet with shelves and a lot of room for storing clothes, which many hotels do not offer. Staff members were friendly and helpful and were able to check us in early.

A nightlight or dimmer in the bathroom would be nice.

Very good hotel in an excellent location, within walking distance of almost all tourist attractions and close to thousands of restaurants. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated with rooms in very good condition and clean. The air conditioning works well, and the bathroom has good facilities. The staff provides very good service. There is a bar with a good view on the rooftop.

The rooms are small with a queen bed, which is not very comfortable. We had problems with the room key several times, as it would get deactivated and stop opening the door.

The properly is kind of a beautiful palacio. We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel has an excellent location. The facilities are beautiful and it has a rooftop bar that we enjoyed in the evening. The plaza in front of the hotel has very goos restaurants for tapas and lunch. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. They even gave us a welcome cava and sweets because of my birthday celebration.

The lights didn't turn on/off properly in the room, and we couldn't sleep. We had to call maintenance at 3am in the morning to come fix it. We wanted to stay an extra night in the same room and it was not easy to deal with the reception and booking department. But it all worked out, but we had to leave the room and go downstairs to the reception, which was an inconvenience, but it all worked out in the end.

Location is perfect. Everything can be reached by foot. Room was clean and bed is massive. Also a big shoutout to the staff: We upgraded our room and misunderstood the receptionist about pricing, bc of a language barrier (we don’t speak Spanish and misunderstood English). Marina an Alejandro solved issue with professionalism, which is rare these days!

The elevators can be a bit slow when there is traffic during check-out times, but it didn’t bother us too much.

The staff amd service were exceptional! The hotel manager spent an hour on the phone straightening out my airline booking. Room service and food were fantastic. The location was ideal It was a bit overpriced, but easy to overlook when you meet the people working there❤️

It is in the center everything is within a walking distance, it is clean and good room size, all staff are super nice thank you all. Although it is in a busy, noisy area, but when you close the windows it’s so quiet.

The room light system is quite weird, one time it’s turned on alone while we were sleeping. Also, the door look, it doesn’t have the extra chain lock, just the normal lock.
