The room was large, bright and spotlessly clean. Also, very quiet. The staff were amazingly helpful and the location was excellent. We bought a travel card and ended up not using up all the journeys as you could walk to all the main attractions. Also, there was no shortage of places to eat and drink in the same street.

There was no way of making tea or coffee in your room. Sometimes you just want to chill and get your energy back and relax in your space. Also, there was water in a fridge but we thought it might be chargeable so didn't use it.

Very good location 5-10 min walk to main sites in the Centre, even Atocha is 20 min walk. Room is great with floor heating which is very rare in Spain. Location on quiet road, many bars and restaurants around. Very good value for money in January. Also bed was very comfy on big, quality linen. Good water pressure from the shower.

Wonderful location with romantic balconies

The staff was exceptional. Kind, helpful, cheerful - we couldn't ask for more. The location, while a bit noisy, was excellent for seeing Madrid. Proximity to metro stations was great and once we untangled the very small never straight roads, we were able to come and go mostly by foot. Highly recommended!

Our room was pretty small but manageable. And having a small balcony was lovely but it is quite noisy most nights until about 1am. If you are a very sensitive sleeper I would suggest having a room not facing the street.

Everything about this stay was beyond expectations. The terrace overlooking the small but vibrant street (but close the doors and so quiet inside). The location was perfect for exploring - we had no problems running back to the room for a quick bathroom break or just to recharge our batteries for a few minutes. Special shout out to the woman at the desk who helped us research where we could buy a new suitcase when mine busted right before we needed to leave for the train station super early on a Friday morning. She helped us find a shop open (at the train station even!) where we could transfer everything into the new luggage and still made our train!

Absolutely no complaints. It was our favorite accommodation of the 4 places we stayed during this trip. We would definitely return.

The staff was very kind. The plocation was very close to the metro station and 20 minutes walk from almost all the city sights. The breakfast is small but excellent. My little daughter lost a teddy she had with her, and all the staff including the cleaners did everything to find it and return it to us. The staff from breakfast excellent. they also gifted us a bag of their perfect croissants on our last day! Thanks to all

The location - a mere walking distance from anything worthwhile. The Room (301) - quiet, clean, spacious, cozy, with two large windows that open all the way and very well designed with only a few unsubstantial rejections. The staff - forthcoming, friendly, efficient and professional. The general areas - well designed and maintained.

Not having a water kettle in the room - I had to go down to the lobby to ask for two cups with boiling water. It was fine by me and the staff supplied it willingly. A boutique hotel isn't a large hotel with the pros and cons - we enjoyed all the pros... There weren't enough chairs in the room to simply sit down and relax. It was either the bed or a single uncomfortable metal chair...

I really liked the place. Super clean. Very charming staff. Once you understand Madrid and wher you are: at the very heart of this town, it becomes clear how special it is. So yes, a huge balcony and windows to the bottom would be great, but how in this neat space in the center. It was the perfect location for every walk, Metro Station are close by. The food was really good. I will come back

It is a place with some variety on the rooms for sure, I asked for one or two extras and only got automated messages. This could have been done better.

Loved the location of the hotel; perfect spot for us. The room was large, beautiful, and had wonderful fun decor along with every practical item needed for travelers: real hangers, frig, safe, beautiful linens, extra pillows, soaps + lotions, yummy towels, mirrors! Really nicely done! And we were also very happy at how quiet our room was! The hotel is on a bustling street but even the busiest night we heard virtually nothing from the crowds in the street one floor below.

Breakfast was very good but service was slow---not unusual these days, and I understand. My only 'complaint' was that the ordering method was quite confusing --- I saw other guests also struggling and needing assistance, as well. Having coffee and other morning beverages easier to get would have been lovely. All I wanted was more coffee but that didn't happen so we went elsewhere.

Amazing location! So close to Sol, the Royal Palace, and Plaza Mayor. Many tabernas and tapas places all along the same street. Can easily walk to all the main attractions. Stayed in the attic room as a solo traveler and LOVED it! It was very unique, spacious, comfortable, and the whirlpool tub was amazing during the chilly and misty days I was there. Loved being on the top floor and able to open the windows in the evenings. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. I had a very early arrival into Madrid with an even earlier arrival time than expected at 0500. They checked me in, stored my luggage, talked to me for a bit and gave me a guide map with markings on recommendations for where to go, and off I went to walk around and wake up with the city. They had my room ready at least an hour early with all my luggage already brought up. When it was time to leave, they called a taxi for me. Great experience. I wouldn’t look anywhere else to stay in the future, this place is it!
