We stayed for 6 nights. Our room was an ocean view room with a nice deck for sitting. It was large and very clean. The breakfast that was included was great. There was a lot of choice every day (cereals, yogurt, 3 different breads, pancakes or french toast, butter cake, egg station, thai curry and rice, sausage, ham and bacon, beans, fruits, veggies, cheese). It is located on a beautiful stretch of Lamai Beach. The beach was kept clean (which was not the case with all of the hotels along the beach). There were loungers by the beach in the shade and also at the pool. There are not a lot of them compared to the size of the hotel though. If you want a lounger on the beach in high season you had better have your towel on one of them by 7:30 am or you will be out of luck. There were also beanbags which were very comfortable as well if you wanted to do a bit of time in the sun. We are beach people rather than pool people, but we had a couple of swims in the pool in the evening. It was warm with a nice sitting edge but not located beachfront if that is important to you. There were 2 covered tables by the pool that can seat a large group of friends to socialize or play cards in the evening. We had fruit shakes, beer and lunch some days at the hotel restaurant. We were conveniently located to all restaurants, bars and the night market. It was easy to get a taxi or songthaew to go somewhere else if you wanted. Other services you could use from the hotel were taxi, rental car/scooter, tours and laundry. We used the laundry service twice and laundry was back within the day.

The chairs on the the deck were VERY uncomfortable. They are wooden chairs with completely upright seat backs, so we did not sit out there as we usually would after the beach but before dinner. There were some broken items (planter, beach chair) being stored in a corner on along the walkway connecting the hotel to the beach. Removing these things is an easy way to make it look cleaner. More beach loungers would make getting one much easier.

The staff were so incredibly friendly...especially the dining manager Khong.. .the breakfast was fresh and varied...the location was excellent...staff kept the beach clean of sea debris and leaves...there was tons of shade if desired...water pressure was strong...rooms were clean and comfortable...I could go on!

Guests would go to the beach early in the morning and claim the beach beds by putting down a towel or bag...then leave the loungers empty for literally hours! It would be fair to have a system to discourage this...though this is no fault of the hotel!

Perfect location right on Beach and short stroll up lane to road with bars, restaurants and shops etc. Excellent breakfast selection with egg station, selection of fruits, toast, jams, cake and yoghurts. Coffee and hot water replenished constantly. Staff excellent, very friendly and helpful, in particular Kong (not sure if spelling correct) but he was so cheerful and we all had daily laughs with him especially regarding the weather!

Not enough sunbeds for guest capacity but appreciate this can be quite difficult with limited space

Nice little bungalow with a balcony right next to the beach. The bungalow isn't luxurious but it's comfortable and has everything you need. Food from the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Plenty of space to sit on the beach and the shops and bars are five minutes walk away

Jet ski next door could be quite noisy in the morning

I stayed with my husband and my parents - we were visiting Samui for the first time. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I cannot rate their service enough. The pool is clean and a good size. The restaurant is open and airy and very close to the beach. It’s quiet and peaceful, and you can walk to the Main Street in just a few minutes. There are jet ski rentals available on the beach. The food is very good, though I would not recommend the pizza. We loved the happy hour offers!

The wooden bungalow rooms are quite small and cramped. The gaps in the floorboards meant that mosquitos could come in which was not great, and we got bitten a lot! Perhaps a room in the main building would have been a better choice.

Great location on the beach, awesome staff and cute cottages! There were enough sunbeds and the best part was, that there was enough shade under a big tree. It was very close to walk to restaurants and bars, but it still remained very quiet. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the hotel bar & restaurant. The beach is perfect for swimming.

There were wild dogs living on the beach. Most of them would ignore people, but one was aggressive towards Thai people and has attacked and bitten the staff of the hotel. I didn’t feel very good when this dog approached me, hopped on my sunbed or was laying on our terrace. But for the staff it is a real problem. We would hear him every day attacking someone. Another minus point were two jet-ski rentals right in front of the hotel. Besides it being loud, some people were driving recklessly, crossing the line and entering the “swimmer zone”. Also a dead sea turtle was washed out to the shore, probably killed by a jet-ski. I wasn’t aware before, how disturbing to the sea life jet-skis are. But this opened our eyes.

Great location on the beach front, and with shops, bars and eateries very close. Night market is a 10 minute walk away. Despite being close to the action, it was quiet. Nice beach for walking and swimming. The pool is also very pleasant. Loved the restaurant looking over the beach. The menu was varied and economical. The breakfast buffet was not lavish, but more than adequate. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We started with a garden view bungalow, but it was too small to be comfortable, and was gloomy, and had gaps in the floor, which might have been where the mosquitoes got in. We moved after the first night to a 4th floor hotel room, which was spacious, light and comfortable, and had a nice view over the ocean. An extra 400 bhat per night - well worth it.

Bungalows could be refreshed (paint walls inside for ex). Mattress definitely out of shape. Pillows too hard. This could be great to change them.

Good location right on the beach at Lamai about a 30 min trip by taxi from the airport. A taxi service is available to the airport. Rooms in the main building are large with both a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom. The Samsung tv is a good size with a reasonable range of channels. Breakfast was ok with a choice of three options including an American breakfast.The restaurant was not serving meals after 5pm due to a lack of staff. Staff were courteous and efficient. There are many restaurants close by - Harry's serves big meals at reasonable prices, Seventy Fahrenheit has some outstanding items on the menu, I can personally recommend the blue swimmer crab ravioli and the grilled seafood. Wines by the glass are well priced for Thailand.

Mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, possibly needs replacing. Hot water can get very hot. Water was leaking from the shower area into the main bathroom which just requires a bit of sealant to fix.

The hotel offers breathtaking views of the sea and features a top-notch restaurant with fantastic value. The rooms are meticulously cleaned every day, leaving them spotless. Guests can enjoy the perfect pool and the convenience of a beachfront location. I want to give a special shoutout to Kong, who works at the restaurant and provides exceptional customer service with his attentive and friendly approach.

I'm a little particular, but it's worth mentioning that new towels would have been appreciated as the current ones are past their lifetime.
