Golf (the owner) was fantastic, gave reccomendations for what to do and where to hire bikes. The room is spacious with a fridge and roof terrace! Good value for money - would stay again if in Lamai.

Tiny negatives: the bed is a bit hard for us - similar to other beds in Thailand though. Few hangers to hang clothes but no wardrobe. Brill powerful shower but water goes everywhere! Saying this -tiny things and would stay again.

My stay at Phannarai House was just perfect! I loved everything about it! The room is spotless, spacious, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and everything you need to feel at home. Although the accommodation is super central and just a minute away from all the restaurants and cafes, it is located in a little side road so that it’s quiet and peaceful. On top of everything Golf is an incredibly lovely and kind host and helps you with everything you need!! Also she welcomed me with the most delicious mango smoothie and there were every morning two new bottles of water waiting for me! I‘m really grateful and highly recommend staying at Phannarai House!

This was our favourite stay of our trip so far. The host was super friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The location is great in Lamai, close walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The pool area is quiet and clean. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer! We will definitely book here again.

Everything was perfect however there were some small ants in the bathroom.

Fantastic stay in Lamai! Golf the owner was so welcoming and kind she couldn’t do enough for us. She kindly gave us coconuts to drink on arrival and 2 bottles of water everyday of our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable with a big fridge and great AC. The location is perfect, you our down a chilled private road but just a 2 minute walk to the long sandy beach, 2 minutes to the night markets (our fave night markets in Thailand they were super chilled and really nice food), 5 minutes to the main strip of Lamai loads of bars and restaurants and shops!!

Location was a short walk to the beach. The owner was friendly and helpful. The shower was a bit basic but there was always hot water. We didn’t use the swimming pool so can’t comment on that. There’s lots to do on the beach, we had dinner in one of the many restaurants, good value jet skiing. We recommend booking a tour to see the pink dolphins, the owner helped us organise this but it’s worth doing it in advance as they are popular.

Perfect location in the heart of Lamai centre but tucked down a quiet driveway. Short walk to beach and night markets. Lovely restaurants nearby. The room is your own small bungalow with roof terrace, basic rooms but super clean with everything you need. 2 bottles of water placed outside your room every morning was a lovely touch. The host Golf is super friendly and helpful. I originally booked for 3 nights but extended my stay for another 2. Great value for money!

I had a great stay here, and the host, Golf, is very kind and helpful. She even drove me to my next accommodation for free. The location is also excellent; everything is within a 5-minute walking distance. The rooms are cleaned upon request, with new towels, coffee, tea, and water. The Wi-Fi is good, there is a small pool, and the house has all the basics you need. There is free parking for your scooter, and the rooftop area was a nice little addition

The bed was a little bit firmer than I'm used to in Thailand, but it wasn't a dealbreaker as I still slept well. The houses are quite small, but it was fine for me since I traveled alone but just be aware of this.

It has been our favourite stay in Thailand so far! Golf the owner is a lovely and hospitable lady who cannot do enough for you. We stayed over new year and she welcomed us into her home with a New Year’s Eve party with delicious food and drinks. We are so grateful for our time at Phannarai house! Location is great and easily accessible to Lamai. Would 100% recommend and would return! Thanks again Golf and family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Phannarai House. The host was so welcoming and lovely. She gave us so much information about Koh Samui when we arrived and also welcomed us with a coconut drink each. The room had great facilities and was very clean - it was more like a studio apartment than a bedroom. The bed was also very comfortable. The hotel has a large pool which we didn't get to use but it looked ideal. The hotel is also in a good location close to the main area in Lamai.

It is only minor, but some beach towels as well as towels for the shower would be great. Golf always changed the towels as soon as we asked, but it would be nice to have an extra towel per person because the property has a pool and there is the beach, so lots of swimming and wet towels
