I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Istanbul for a week. The reception team, especially Hidayat and Irfan, are incredibly kind, always smiling, and make you feel like family. They suggest activities based on the weather, ensuring you get the most out of your day. The breakfast is excellent and not repetitive like in other hotels. Sometimes Fatima makes homemade cakes, and she’s super friendly and speaks French. You also have access to the kitchen anytime. The rooms are cleaned daily, the heating works perfectly (you won't feel the cold even if it’s freezing outside), and the hot water is always available. The hotel is very well located: - Close to public transportation. - Near bazaars, mosques, and most landmarks, which you can reach on foot if you enjoy walking. - Calm - Shops like LC Waikiki, Polo, and DeFacto are nearby, with prices similar to malls. - Restaurants around the hotel are delicious and much cheaper than in other areas. If I visit Istanbul again, I will definitely stay at this hotel!

Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Convenient location: historic area two blocks from Grand Bazaar & tram station on Divanyolu, lively during the day but very quiet neighborhood at night. Spectacular views of sea and historical buildings (including a 15th century, still-functioning, hamam) from rooftop terrace. Many electrical outlets made charging electronic devices easy.

Bed was very uncomfortable, but perhaps that was just my room. Other suites had different layouts, and perhaps different beds. As an older person, I found the steep circular staircases a bit challenging, although they were part of the charm of the old historic building. Breakfast was lackluster, and the pre-arranged breakfast trays seemed wasteful, since they contained items one might not have chosen for oneself and, I noticed, a lot was left uneaten by guests. However, when requested, the breakfast lady was gracious and very willing to accommodate individual tastes and needs to the extent possible.

I have nothing to embellish. Our stay at the Oban Hotel was perfect. It is located in the center of Fatih, with everything within reach—trams, shopping centers, museums, monuments—and the best part is that you can see and visit everything in a very short time. The hotel service was warm and welcoming. Mr. Hidayet and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. If you have any questions, the staff is always ready to help, just as they did for us. The room was spacious, clean, and cleaned daily, with towels changed every day. The breakfast was typical Turkish, varied, and full of olives, cheese, and vegetables, which we enjoyed. The rooms are well-insulated, so noise is almost non-existent. We wholeheartedly recommend Oban Suites Hotel and its staff.

This is a review of 2 halves. First of all I must say that all the staff from the reception to the domestic staff were amazing. They were all so friendly, helpful and a pleasure for the duration of our 5 day trip. Also the location of this hotel is fantastic. It is a few minute walk to the tram and metro which connects you to many key places. The blue mosque and Hagia Sophia were a 15 minute walk (quicker without a pram), as was the spice market. The grand bazar was round the corner, a few minutes away. Countless food places within seconds of the hotel and lots of bustling shopping markets. A short tram ride takes you to malls and ferry rides and tours.

There was nothing terrible about the hotel itself but was a bit tired and could do with an update. The rooms however were very spacious and our 2 rooms had a kitchenette and a fridge which was very handy. The breakfast was basic but again nothing terrible and so many local food places for low prices it didn’t matter. The hot water would periodically stop in the day but did get sorted.

What we liked the most was how we were put at ease from the moment we arrived at the hotel. Everything from the taxi, to the beautiful room and breakfast was taken care of. Breakfast was 10/10 and was included in the price. We had never travelled to Turkey or stayed at Oban Suites before so we were spectacle about the whole thing however we were made to feel very comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and loved every moment. We are hoping to have a longer stay next time. The mosques, the grand bazaar, the turkish bath and so many beautiful shops and restaurants were all located walking distance from the hotel. We highly recommend this amazing place and we will certainly be staying here again. A very big thank you to Hidayat and Irfaan who are both the owners and are also brothers. Amazing stay! Great location- walking distance to all tourist attractions! Staff was great- super helpful and knowledgeable and gave us lots of advice to help plan our stay. Large rooms, good A.C, good washroom size. Hotel was recently renovated and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Staff was kind to keep our bags for several hours until our flight time. Definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Oban suites is the best hotel for everything, location, staff, breakfast, comfort and cleanliness. It was definitely value for money. Is is very near all attractions where we walked. Owners Hido and his brother Irfan were extremely helpful. They advised for everything like shopping, travelling and eating out. Location was excellent. We walked to all the visiting place, even it is walking distance to Eminonu. Only 12 minutes walk if you go through grand bazar, (follow Google directions). From Eminonu we travelled on ferry to Bursa and next day to Buyukada (princess Island). There are lot of choices of eating places around Oban suites. We are very grateful for the support of owners Hido and his brother Irfan.

They gave us bigger room than we expexted, i think it 4-5 person could stay there, us just 2 persons,...very near to tram station, tourist attraction hagia sophia just walking distance, souvenir stores and resto are everywhere around, close to grand bazaar, everything was perfect, the owner was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great...love our stay there

The location was close to our line of business. Tram station was just five minutes' walk from the hotel. There are lots of small restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was healthy enough - Turkish Breakfast. The room was comfortable enough including the new refurbished bathroom. Though it was quite cold outside the room was warm enough - well heated. Staff was always ready to assist whenever required. We were assisted with an early check-in in a different room in the early morning until our room was ready.
